David Bowie's reality tour back in the 2000, someone threw a lollipop, and it hit David Bowie in his eye and the whole lollipop went into his eye with just the stick sticking out. They pulled it out and he continued with the show.

Yes the Caramanica co-sign for Troye Sivan! I can't believe we were both at that Webster Hall show. I still wear my Blue Neighborhood merch XD

Y’all are wrong. Troye Sivan has made beautiful music over the years. It’s not been targeted at or coded for pop music stardom, but his songs have always been well-crafted and executed, in my opinion. It’s simply assembled for a VERY niche audience.

i’ve always liked his music, but i think (hope!!!) that this song and album are what really catapults him into the mainstream and maybe gets him a grammy. he’s been so good for so long i want him to really get his flowers!

My guess is with Taylor that no one is risking losing potentially thousands of dollars and a primo seat (assuming they have a weak throw) to the biggest show of the decade to get their yuks off by throwing something at her (plus Swifties would be all over them in a heartbeat).
Not saying the others don’t have expensive shows, but Drake and lesser so for Pink, Ava Max, etc., if you want a ticket to the show, you can get it and probably at a non-astronomical price and therefore, you’re gonna get people who are more inclined to act wild because the consequences and financial loss isn’t as big.

Wild to me they talked for so long about the tiktok npc girl before explaining that the words/sound effects she's doing are her response to specific emojis tied to donations during her stream 😭 idk how they found that much to say about it at all

People threw friendship bracelets at Taylor (ironic) but while she was backstage, not actively performing.
Did you see Post Malone's Times Square stunt performance? What did you think of that?

Seeing a New York Times notification made me click on a video for a PODCAST?!
Sorry NYT, but I'm turning notifications off after that. That was a dirty way to get clicks. You know we have no interest in podcasts... We want journalism.
    Do better.

@@lilysmith9448 I mean, good point. You've helped me think about it and... Yea, good point.
I just can't consume the video of a podcast the same way I can the video of a traditional investigatory piece.
And, for some reason, I respect the audio of a podcast significantly more than the video. I'll listen to NPR's programming any day without a problem- but I just can't bring myself to watch the video of any podcasts.
What's the point? The audio would've done just fine.
In my opinion, if they just uploaded the audio to a podcast service I would've found it respectable.
But uploading the video of two guys sitting on a couch talking - to YT, of all places, seems dirty.
