And why could't Samsung update their tv's with improvements to Game Mode before? They are playing around! Now that the G4 is out all of a sudden they can? I own a Samsung TV but I don't trust that company and their shady updates.
I think all streamers exagerate the real life differences between panels. You don´t stop the movies to look at tiny details like the center of the sun in HDR, etc. All QD-OLEDS and LGs G3-G4 provide a superb picture and look extremely close in an accurate calibrated mode, specially in a dark room. I upgraded 6 months ago from an LG E9 55´ to a S95C 77´ and the improvement in picture quality is incremental in real content, I would say 90% of the improvement comes from sheer size. So the only reason to buy a G4 would be their 83´ screen size, there is simply no competition. The prices is outrageous, though.
I would have liked to see the S95L AND S95D in the mix. Nontheless, good vid. Thanks. Sony will be anouncing their offerins on Weds 17th 1pm Japan time (Tues 16th 12am EST). Lets see whats coming for your next comparison.
In some scenes the Samsung TVs look to pinkish or reddish if you will, but in some scenes the colors are more vivid or has more brightness, LG is of course using the white color, not sure which is more natural though, But I do like the G4 here, S90D is not bad either!
The S90D looks like the S95B but less over-saturated. LG clearly pushing their panel the hardest but whether or not that's worth more than the insane color saturation of QD-OLED will vary by user.
Great video. I love how you go inti details. Unfortunately I can't afford spending 3h on it so I'm looking forward a short version. I appreciate long videos too for guys who want to see all the details, it's just not feasible for me and that's alright. I do have one practical question. I'm looking for getting an oled to change living room tv, 65 inches to be precise. I already have c2 42 in the bedroom which I use for RUclips and gaming mostly. I can get c3, s90c, g2 for around the same price 1350 euros and g3 is like 1800 euros. C4 ans g4 pricing is not out yet. What price do you think would 4 series justify?
I can try and do a breakdown summary of this comparison for sure I’ll try to get it up next week. Out of those 3 I like the S90C the best. C4 could be good but you will lose color brightness in game mode, it hasn’t been fixed like it is in the G4.
@@TechWithKG thanks so much for answering I'm grateful. I was thinking the same unless I manage to grab g4 for around 2000-2200 euros I'll go for s90c.

Considering this G4 or the new Samsung S95D in 77". A big consideration though is the sound and I would like the new Q990D Samsung atmos soundbar after being very satisfied with the Q90R that I got 4 years ago. I've read this latest soundbar is now far superior to my old Q90R and I've also viewed some poor reviews of the LG flagship soundbar system. The Q symphony on the Samsung TV that can be used with the soundbar for extra immersion and the object tracking feature is swaying me towards the Samsung TV. For myself the sound is as much a key factor as the picture quality although I don't want to go the AVR and seperate wired speaker route for aesthetic reason's. This LG could be a stellar TV and debatably a little better than the S95D but will the TV and Soundbar integration on the all Samsung setup outweigh the possible minor advantages of this LG screen? Looking to make my purchase around September time so I'm still open minded and looking forward to viewing plenty of side by side comparison reviews before I make my decision. I must say I've been very happy with my 5 year old LG OLED but I've read they have improved considerably since my last purchase.
Goes to show for the money a80l is not doing too bad considering the rest are way more I’ll keep my a90j for a few more years I rekon which is better than a80l in my opinion

Thank you KG, and good idea actually to revisit the first gen of QD OLED s95b, we can sense the will of LG to handle the max of brightness whitout hurting the panel for a long runs ، Sony reduce the brightness on it every accurate preset, Samsung don't care by overdriving it's panels
