As an African musician I will tell you this. The dance could be from anywhere. The groove behind the song can be understood as 6/8 or 12/8 and it is very African. This groove can be found from Ethiopia all the way down to Cape Town with a million different names. Also the sound of the main keyboard is emulating a balafon or a kalimba. This is really good music. A good musician studies music from everywhere...
A good musician only needs one source. Shut up with your intelligent sounding words about a culture that you can't point to because you're not 28,000 years old.
