Jarl, your resilience and love for the wilderness shine through every frame. Stay warm, stay wild! 🚐🏔️🌟
What a privilege it is to be taken along on your epic journeys, whether here or in the states. I have just started viewing your channel and now I’m happily hooked. Your videography and drone footage is beyond professional and I feel as if I am walking beside you. Although not sure I’d be comfortable on some of your “summits”…I think you have to be a little crazy (in a good way) to not only get to the top of some of these places but with a pack AND filming…LOFOTEN comes to mind!. I would imagine you have been hiking and climbing since childhood to be in such amazing physical condition to walk so many miles and climb so high. I so understand your need to be in peace and solitude in nature. Since losing my husband to suicide a year ago the only comfort for me is nature and prayer. I currently live in the miserably hot and crowded state of Florida. I look for any chance to get to the mountains and I go alone. I think it is in my blood as I am from northern Germany, by the North Sea, so I do love weather of all kinds except heat. Norway was always on our list of places to see but alas it was not to be. But maybe one day I will come and find a place to escape and enjoy some of the places you have taken us. Thank you so very much for the brief escapes you have gifted me with…I look forward to many more of your adventures. Hold deg trygg…🏞️🏕️🚐
@@carolabecker8219 Spring starts in April, but there is still snow in the mountains in June, fall is less crowded, but once you get past October it is not really very pretty anywhere, then winter starts in November, December or some places as late as January. Certain places like Lofoten is very crowded except for maybe January and February. Some places have few people year around. The fjords can be a mess in summer, but it is still ok to travel in a van most of the time. I would highly recommend the @hurtigruten ship tours from Bergen to Kirkenes or a shorter section if you want to see the best Norway has to offer.
Hi Jarl . Wow that was kind of scary. It looks so remote. The ice road especially! But it was beautiful with the sunset. You almost needed sunglasses in the morning it was so bright! Yes the mail will run no matter what. Great drone footage too. I thought the same way you did with the snow being deep. You couldn't really tell till you got out of the van and walked around. Glad you didn't get stuck and have to dig your way out. Looking forward for your next big adventure. You're certainly good at finding the best places to travel! Sending you love from Ohio ❤️
There are so many great things to comment on here, but I'll keep it to just one. Your drive across the wide open spaces with the strong winds and low snow drifting across the highway is exactly what we experience on the Canadian prairies throughout winter. Add the windchill to the -40C temperature, and you're in dangerous territory. A vehicle breakdown can be disastrous. I feel the warmth inside the vehicle while knowing the condition outside will freeze the tips of ears in seconds, and it burns to breathe. Great capture!
Good morning Jarl. I hope this video brings much happiness to you as you travel to bring new territories for us to awe over. Most definitely more fun with you than some. The way you interact is what sets you above the most. Let me get back to watching because it’s a high weather day for tornadoes here in the US and I ll spend 3 hours watching that. Yesterday it was really a dangerous day as I was a tornado take two houses down right in front of me and then the chaser I was following topped a hill and a town to a direct hit. Sad but it is so important what these guys do. They report back to the weather stations about the size and location of a tornado 3:35 on the ground. Tis the season for bad storms. It I gotta watch you and your snow storm first. Think the world of you. ❤️
Where I live, we used to get up to a meter of snow in1 snowfall. For many years now, get only get a few centimeters if we are lucky. It's sad, because I love snow so much! Since my son lives in Sweden, I will definitely visit during the winter months to enjoy the beauty of the snow.
I am so pleased for you that you finally got to the Norwegian Abyss, the scenery is Spectacular and Scary. Your Vidoes are just getting better and better every week. X
Lots of inspiration for a painter in the colors of snow in the arctic with the pale sunlight, except when you get into a white-out! Then! White!! I would love to do a ride-along with a Norwegian snowplow driver! Do they ever stand down?
Ey up my friend. Tis always a pleasure to watch your epic journeys and adventures in such stunningly beautiful, rugged surroundings. Have a great weekend 🙂👍

Beautiful video as always! You know, I never even thought about how you would shower on the road like that, I’m sure it’s not easy. Enjoying these stories very much. 😊
I absolutely love following you on the map.And seeing where you're at and watching the beauty of that area just unfold. Thank you so much for the adventure. The town's look like a lot of homes in very little town part. But i'm sure there must be businesses there sometime. What a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing this with us.Your videos are just extraordinary.
What an amazing journey you are on you are very fortunate to see all the unique landscape. Thankyou for the wonderful video stay safe and warm. Watching from Toronto Canada
This is mesmeringly beautiful and the ambient soundscape complements the piece perfectly.I was stunned by the beauty and the wildness of the landscape captured perfectly and the travelling camera tells an epic story that takes us in to another world and i couldn't take my eyes off the screen for a moment.Magnificent - well done for sharing such beauty in such a cleverly crafted work of art.
It’s great to see you exploring where hardly any other people go even the locals , I did the same all over Iceland and other parts of Europe , great video and I can’t wait to explore up there myself , looks Amazing well documented thanks 👍🏻
The snowdrift and the bad visibility didn't make it easy... But, as always, you didn't loose your optimistic mood. The sun was a marvellous compagnon with its soft and tender yellow light. Many sceneries were really awesome, magnificent sunsets... Always further progressing in the "nowhere" it seems you still haven't reached the edge of the European continent... I presume you are actually more north than the North Cape. Thanks, Jarl, for the beautiful atmosphere of endless snow and ice and gorgeous clouds at which you let us participate....
I very much like to see the houses as i wonder how anyone can live there! How do they support themselves? Who lives there? Please tell us more about that.
I have no words. Well ok yes I do. I ALWAYS do. The times with u just make me smile listening to u n seeing u smile n ur enjoying this life. I’ll tell u the Grey Warrior is a fantastic vehicle with all it goes through but so is ur care of it. It completely astonishes me that ppl actually live out n these vast distances. I do wonder if n these really bad winds r u allowed to go to one of these homes n ask if u can park on the side of one like u do stores ? There was a part where it was as if the winds couldn’t wait to get to the sea/ocean n join it. As if it HAD to b with the waves. Maybe sounds stupid but that’s how I imagined them. Toward the end seeing Shane’s HUGE n BRIGHT smile melted me. It was literally like u were driving up n Heaven upon the clouds. It was just radiating brilliance as G-D does !!!! *sigh* SUCH wonderful these times r spent with u Jarl. I sure love our friend !!! 👍🙏❤️‼️ TJ
Thank you dear friend, yes you can of course always ask someone to park by their house, and they would say yes every time, but it was not really that bad this time, compared to previous weather this winter lol!🫶
I wonder how you keep your diesel fron jelling up . I mean here in the USA we have problems with fuel filters and main engine freezing up not to mention wet lines. Thanks.
Hey, we have different fluids and diesel here, the freezing point is minus 40 for the diesel in winter and the cooler is minus 65 or around there. Vehicles that come from further south on the continent often have trouble with frozen coolant etc
Hello Mister. Just one question During your travel in artic region, What technique for the tires. Snow tire or studded tire ? And for finish, thank you so munch for the Dreams, that you make in my eyes since the champagne region, it's fabulous fantastic. Sorry for m'y bad english. Ses you next time. Stefan and Pierre.
Beautiful sunsets in the artic. Are you in Sweden close to Russia? Cold and wet, rainy here in the Pacific Northwest. Trees are leafing and rhododendrons are blooming. Im ready for some sunshine but love watching your snow adventures. Your van is a wondermobile driving in the freezing north. That white out was hard to see. Take care, love your music.
Fun to watch. A Norwegian friend of mine has been live streaming on Twitch his drive from Bergen to Trondheim and back to Bergen this weekend (he picks up some small moving gigs from time to time). Even though it’s the end of April, still a lot of snow in some places along his route.
The quality of your videos are really top-notch! You do a great job of capturing the natural beauty of the places you visit. I love all the little villages you drive through. Well done! Enjoyed watching.

Beautiful video as always! You know, I never even thought about how you would shower on the road like that, I’m sure it’s not easy. Enjoying these stories very much. 😊
Thank you very much Andrea!
Just incredible !
Thank you!
Glad you enjoy it Teri, and very cool that you use the maps that way!

Try the butter chicken, it's yummy, in the UK we are a nation of curry lovers 🇬🇧❤️
Sounds great!
Love your videos.
Thank you!
Wow, thank you so much🙏
Stay safe my friend . Your videos are amazing
Thanks!
Chicken tikka masala ❤ love from India
It’s great to see you exploring where hardly any other people go even the locals , I did the same all over Iceland and other parts of Europe , great video and I can’t wait to explore up there myself , looks Amazing well documented thanks 👍🏻
Thanks Nathan!
Thank you Regine
Whats this a saturday morning video. I love it goood morning jarl well its probably evening where you are. Either way goood day brother.
Hope you enjoy
Harika
*sigh*
SUCH wonderful these times r spent with u Jarl. I sure love our friend !!!
👍🙏❤️‼️
TJ
Thank you dear friend, yes you can of course always ask someone to park by their house, and they would say yes every time, but it was not really that bad this time, compared to previous weather this winter lol!🫶
Jarl! When is your winter going to end? You have loads of snow and snow storms an it is almost May!! Yikes!!
It takes a while to finish all the videos
There is such incredible beauty in that barren landscape. Another great adventure! Thanks Jarl!
Thank you Kevin!
Another Incredible video. I've been watching for a new one all week. Such an amazing place to experience.
Thank you so much, most of the time I release videos on Saturdays
I just discovered your channel and was just watching your other video not 10mins ago. What a treat! ❤

And for finish, thank you so munch for the Dreams, that you make in my eyes since the champagne region, it's fabulous fantastic. Sorry for m'y bad english.
Ses you next time.
Stefan and Pierre.
Thanks, I use studless winter tires from Nokian.
Лайк не глядя. Как всегда шикарное видео. Респект.
Thanks Sergey!
Was not expecting a new video today, but pleasantly surprised 😊
It was a long winter lol
Fascinating landscapes indeed. Wonderful to visit, but I don`t think I could live up there.
Many thanks!
Thank you Candy!
Hi Jarl Brilliant as usual give us a quick shout out thanks Lee ❤❤❤❤❤🇬🇧
Thank you Lee!!
Hi from Canada. The scenery is amazing .I enjoy your videos .
Hello, thank you so much!
Fun to watch. A Norwegian friend of mine has been live streaming on Twitch his drive from Bergen to Trondheim and back to Bergen this weekend (he picks up some small moving gigs from time to time). Even though it’s the end of April, still a lot of snow in some places along his route.
Yes it is a long winter, I was skiiing eralier this week
I’m in Wisconsin. We had almost no snow this winter. It’s been very weird.
@@theresamnsota3925 The weather has been weird here too, strange winter
The quality of your videos are really top-notch! You do a great job of capturing the natural beauty of the places you visit. I love all the little villages you drive through. Well done! Enjoyed watching.
Thank you very much my friend!
