Hi,
I'm following your directions to build a memorial box filled with new dog toys for people (in memory of my dog). Your clarity and directions have allowed me almost complete this project, and I'm a novice--Very well done!
As I'm a novice, I cannot wrap my brain around your bottom frame involving 24 inch cuts. When installed with pocket screws to the front and back, I have the total bottom being 29 inches long (24 inch cuts, and the addition of 2.5 inches from the front structure and 2.5 inches from back structure). When the 5 bottom boards are screwed in, they will have a width 27.5 inches long (5.5x5).
In my mind, there will be 1.5 inches that will not be covered on the bottom.
I'm missing something in my calculations, right?

Did you use a waterproofing sealer when finished? If so what brand did you use? (the brush on you used at the end of your video : ) Thanks in advance!

@d.s.6882 hey, I can't remember the brand but I would recommend using an oil based waterproofing because it's easier to put on and you won't have to pressure washer to take it off
