I bought an 5 dollar auction lot for a Robotech #1. In that lot was a bettlejuice #1, mine being a newstand. The sleeper in that lot was a new age comic preview. Turns out that issue has the first appearance of the TMNTs in color.
New to the channel, and I really enjoy it. My favorite is when you show some books that are worth bank, and I know I have them in the time machine long boxes in the garage. Did most of my collecting 85-00.
First, I have been watching you for weeks and finally subscribed today. You have a great channel that is informative and entertaining, which is what I look for in hobby and collectibles videos. I really like that Supergirl #1. Might have to be on the lookout for that one. Weird War Tales #82 is a type of book I like to pick up on occasion when I can find them. I always think controversial subject matter on covers might be big time collector’s items one day. I have found a few that depict the KKK on the cover, but not any Nazi ones. That Barbaric: Born in Blood #1 is a HEAVY read, my friend! 😄 It’s got all kinds of wild art and content it. Make sure the kids have been put to bed before pulling that bad boy out! I got my issue during FCBD this year.
Y the last man #1 is pretty good. Invincible has been selling well for me. Keep in mind that it’s a buyers market and you will have to lower prices to compete.
So this store is savvy enough on values to not put the $20 and up books in the half off sale, but they priced a $300 book for $15 and then sold it for half??
