Recently I went to my comic book store and got a lot of my usual stuff Spider-Man and all the rest of this stuff including but I bought one issue that was really interesting mainly I bought the cover because it had a dinosaur on the cover because I'm a huge dinosaur fan it was done by the group that is resurrecting EC Comics they called it cruel universe it has a dinosaur versus an astronaut on the cover it's very cool
Great pickups! It’s awesome how you collect a little bit of everything! Very eclectic.

Wraparound cover
I picked up all those Punishers (minus 102) for $2 a book. Orders for those were 30-40k. They are not rare. They are all over the place. If you pay more than $2 then you are overpaying and if you are paying hundreds for 102 you are grossly overpaying. The 2099 line itself was not a big seller (even spider-man 2099 struggled to stay over 20k in orders at the end). Depends on your definition of "low print." Secret Wars 2 is a garbage story. They should all be slabbed so they can't be read. LOL Nice haul!
Those were not big print runs for that time period. Also I have never seen those Punisher books for just 2 each before. The 30-40K print runs doesn’t mean all those copies survived the past 30 plus years, or that people are parting ways with them from their collections. You just barely ever see those books in stores. As for the Doom books, I never seen those issues in stores / conventions before. That kind of goes for all the later issues of the 2099 run. Thanks for watching.
@@youlovecomicbooks Those are not print run numbers but copies ordered numbers. Just about 1/3 of the top 300 books of that month had orders of between 20k and 30k. Punisher was at the top of that 1/3. The attrition rate for 30 year old books now is probably not as bad as the 30 years from 1930-1960. Comics were just expendable entertainment during that time. I agree that the later 2099 books aren't easily found in book stores.
Michael Jackson was many things, but rock n roll wasn't one of them.
There were several artist in the rock n roll series that would be considered more as pop than rock. Thanks for watching.
