I loved your read through Jim ~ very well dome! Like you, this chilling tale of a homicidal maniac performing his madness left an indelible imprint on me in my childhood (I was 11 in '73). Your voices are quite entertaining, and I enjoyed your video as I re-bagged a box of comics. Great content Bronzeville!
This IS a very sweet comic. I am one of those who has never gotten his hands on a copy, so it was nice to see the interior story. As always, Neal Adams delivers with the art.
A fair deal is better than a great deal because you are doing good by sharing the benefits of the deal with the other trader. We too often neglect the well being of the other.
I just purchased the Batman 251 a few weeks ago from Ebay, loved the cover, paid $ 240 for it, cover looked really good, except for a pretty hefty spine roll, but it still presents great.
It was the Comic Code Authoritie that ruined the Joker as well as other violent villains. Criminals had to be more goofy otherwise writers and artists could lose their jobs! Thankfully both Marvel and DC in the early 70s were able to break the restrictions imposed on them and villains became more lethal. Awesome book btw and Irv Novak did a great job!
I detected a hint of Adam West in your Batman voice-
Adam West and Mark Hamill! Very good impressions!
Adam west, always the Batman
