Been happened to me for years since late 20s. Feels like bipolar and I was given bipolar meds. Wellbutrin & adderall. It’s pmdd and has nothing to do with menopause it’s the body is sensitive to hormones there’s no imbalance. The hormone levels are normal it’s the body is sensitive to the hormones. I wish ppl would stop trying to make us have menopause with everything. It’s disturbing.
Yes, PMDD has different root causes for symptoms for sure. There are other lifestyle factors that need to be addressed, and PMDD symptoms can get worse leading up to menopause….. due to changes in neurotransmitter/ brain chemical levels. @@angelasimpsonfunctionalmed5893 well it seems to be activated by emotional stress and if it gets worse leading into menopause perhaps that’s just the menopause. Ever thought about that? Lol

This is so me. Plus I can’t control the binge eating the week in a half up to my period. Whole Foods are not cutting it. My body rejects them and all I want is total junk to satisfy myself. It’s like every two hours my cravings are ravenous: This is utterly impossible.
This might sound weird, but since I tried adding a protein shake into my diet due to cardio exercises (wich made me look up what I am lacking, cause the hunger cravings were just as intense as previous period cravings) its not that extrem for me anymore and it also helps on days were I feel like I cant eat anything. Aperantly I had a lack of protein and that explains a lot of food cravings. ❤🌻😶

@@angelasimpsonfunctionalmed5893 Thanks for replying, I appreciate it. Doctors that I have spoken to do not believe in hormone testing. They say that it is hard to get an accurate result. The only thing they check is the thyroid or estrogen levels in menopausal women who are on HRT 🤷🏽♀️ Also, I have Epilespy and can only take progesterone in the coil. But how can they just give me progesterone when they can't even check my hormones? What if my progesterone is high? That only helps with heavy bleeding but not the PMS.
If you want more information about this specific condition and ways to address the imbalances that come with this condition, please let me know.
@@angelasimpsonfunctionalmed5893 well it seems to be activated by emotional stress and if it gets worse leading into menopause perhaps that’s just the menopause. Ever thought about that? Lol
It is going to be a combination of factors, with both PMDD and the approach and onset of menopause that increases symptoms.... there are ways to get the balance back though, and manage this to live a happier, more full life. If you want to speak further about this, and how this could happen for you, let me know. Thanks for your interest in my channel@@HighFrequencyGuru
I’m turning 30 this month and you described me to the T. Thank you for this video. I will definitely be implementing your suggestions. I need to get my life back.
I feel sleepy all the time before my periods 😔😔😔
Me too from 1 year I am 26
Same it’s okay to get rest
I am 23 and I've been withstanding this since about 5 years ago when I started university. Thank you so much for confirming it was the damn stress all along.
Some of the worst symptoms I had with my hormones and fatigue were when I was in University…. Due to high stress….. there are ways to help manage this though, you don’t have to live debilitating fatigue until you finish university or beyond. If you want more support around this, please let me know.
Thankyou for your reply, it means so much to me, I feel like a hyperchondriac, so thankyou.
I think university has brought this is on in my life. I rarely used to have this problem before.
@@lisal.1114 thank you for that recommendation. What type of protein powder do you use?
This is me!!!! I used to go to mccdonalds 5x a week before my period 😭
Do you eat meat? Try eating more carnivore when you feel bingey. It will help satiate you. Eat till you’re full. ❤
@@christine8661 thank you. Unfortunately I have tried it all. Last time I did carnivore I had to quit. Day four I had a permanent hangover and was so grossly ill I had to stop. I tried to suffer with the hangover symptoms (I had plenty of electrolytes) for two days. Very debilitating. It felt like I drank a case a beer the night before for almost 4 days until it finally subsided. My body just isn’t good at carnivore or keto. I wish it was.
I was so sleepy that I could sleep the whole day away! I had to force myself to wake up. Sometimes I would feel soo sleepy I felt sleepy within the dream as well

@@angelasimpsonfunctionalmed5893 Thanks for replying, I appreciate it. Doctors that I have spoken to do not believe in hormone testing.
They say that it is hard to get an accurate result. The only thing they check is the thyroid or estrogen levels in menopausal women who are on HRT 🤷🏽♀️
Also, I have Epilespy and can only take progesterone in the coil. But how can they just give me progesterone when they can't even check my hormones? What if my progesterone is high? That only helps with heavy bleeding but not the PMS. You can buy hormone test kits but if I can't go to the doctors for help, what’s the point. It’s frustrating. 😢
For some women, hormones can be out of balance, most of their lives. If you have been this way, seeking out help for hormone balancing would be a good idea.
This whole week of pms,my eyes 👀 are so heavy,I can barely keep them open, it’s the worse

Hi Anna! Thanks for your message. You may have some blood sugar imbalances, from what you have explained. Great video!!! My cycle has gotten shorter, my PMS has gotten worse. But my partner is going through a health crisis so stress is at an all time high and I haven’t had as much time to work out. I started a lower carb diet that started to make me feel more balanced in terms of diet, and less bloated. But, stress is definitely huge.

I was like this all of my life since my period. But now I am 41 and it got less intense and it’s better actually.
Funny thing is I have done a lot of healing on myself, past childhood traumas etc so I don’t have such big emotional rollercoaster anymore before my period. Fatigue is also not as bad as it used to be.

I have the fatigue a week or two before the period. Is that normal? I feel so tired that i cannot carry out my work and it gets so frustrating.
This is not normal. It can happen if estrogen and progesterone are out of balance. The fatigue can be due to low estrogen, but it is important to look deeper into this, beyond just the estrogen levels... as often the gut and immune system are out of balance too, and this impacts hormone balance. Have there been any studies on ozempic or other medications that help with insulin regulation and the link to women who are in these stages
Ozempic/ GPL-1 supports can help some, but it is not a solution for all/ many women. The gut/gut microbiome also need to be balanced, to keep both insulin and glucose balanced….

Yes, this is related to a hormone imbalance, and it is also likely tied into low iron, if the fatigue comes at this time in your cycle…..
@@angelasimpsonfunctionalmed5893 mam would you like to suggest me some better food for this situation.
This sounds like estrogen dominance…. there are different causes to it, and primrose can help, but really is more of a bandaid to symptoms… which is why some symptoms got better and some got worse. Let me know if you want to speak further about this on a complimentary consultation, to discuss how to get to the root of these symptoms, to develop a lasting solution.
I usé nuvaring bc I had endometriosis so I don’t get my period until I break through….Has anyone tried maca root or something like mushrooms such as cordyceps? For energy or hormone balance
