I just wanted to explain because it seems like there is some misunderstanding in the comments: an ectopic pregnancy means the fertilized egg implanted outside of the womb, usually in a fallopian tube (which is what Kristen mentioned in her anecdote). There was no baby. The embryo is not able to develop past a certain point. Also, not everyone who experiences an ectopic pregnancy knows they are pregnant or was trying to get pregnant. It can happen (rarely of course) on birth control. It's not our business what happened in Kristen's situation. I just wanted to explain this so that more people understand being pregnant does not always mean you have a baby inside of your body, and having an ectopic pregnancy does not always mean you lost a baby. Sorry to be a buzzkill on this otherwise hilarious clip, I know it's not the point, but I saw more than a handful of comments about it. Again, it's none of our business what Kristen's particular situation was, but in general I feel like we need to stop making sweeping assumptions about women and fertility

It's a fertilized egg, assuming that was fertilized by a human, that's 100% a human. It's a tragedy the baby won't make it further, but that doesn't mean you stop calling it a baby

I don't see any comments here acknowledging that Kristen suffered an ectopic pregnancy... This isn't talked about very often and is not something many women are sufficiently warned about.. It's a pretty traumatic thing for a woman to experience, especially in cases like Kristen's where it is not caught in time and the fallopian tube actually bursts.. It's basically a miscarriage but like 1000 times worse, the fetus actually forms outside of the uterus. Besides possibly bleeding to death internally, it can also cause sepsis/septic shock.
    Thank goodness Kirsten survived ❤

When I uploaded this video back in 2017 I had no idea what Kristen went through as I was more shocked at the fact she nearly died rather than thinking about what nearly killed her. In the years since from the comments people have left and my own reading into it, it's honestly scary what she went through and all the more incredible that she survived. Ectopic embryo removal is not the same procedure as an abortion. Because it's not in the womb it's either in the fallopian tube or on the exterior wall of the uterus it either needs to be removed surgically or if you are lucky enough to catch it in time it can be treated with a medication. Also "ectopic embryo removal" does not fall under abortion restrictions in states where those laws apply.
