You’re spreading misinformation. It’s literally one google search away. Ectopic pregnancies are not considered abortions, and therefore not illegal in Texas.

Ectopic embryo removal is not the same procedure as an abortion. Because it's not in the womb it's either in the fallopian tube or on the exterior wall of the uterus it either needs to be removed surgically or if you are lucky enough to catch it in time it can be treated with a medication. Also "ectopic embryo removal" does not fall under abortion restrictions in states where those laws apply.
@@spiwolf6998 women have died because they were denied the procedure due to abortion bans. When a state totally bans abortion, that more often than not includes ectopic embryo removal. Hey you know, I don't want to be "that guy", but I think the recent news with Roe v. Wade is why this video was recommended to me in the first place so. "my philopiean tube burst open and i bled for about two liters of blood" with the mabel voice sounds so funny im sorry but imagine the actual mabel saying this on the show
My aunt had TWO ectopic pregnancies. Luckily hers were caught in time, but she can’t have children since she had to have both tubes removed.
"We're raising a lot of money on this pain" is a very gruncle Stan thing to say
Kudos to Kristen for doing her job despite the real life situation going on, she is an absolute legend.
This is something really serious I've ever heard in my life, 2 liters of internal bleeding like WHAT!!! I'm so glad Kristen is still alive after that.
"BUT I LIVED!! :D"
Holy shit! I had no idea! That is some serious dedication right there, but still, I would have gotten to the hospital sooner if I were in that much pain. Well, as long as Kristen remains alive and well. She's a treasure! ❤

Duuuude her voice is like a smile personified. i remember crying my eyes out watching the gravity falls finale, then watching bob's burgers a few years after.IT felt like that Leonardo Diocaprio pointing meme to hear her again.
an ectopic pregnancy is so serious. And especially in light of the overturned Roe v Wade, this story is actually horrifying.
This Should be top of the comments.
Why is it horrifying?
Pretty sure that didn't effect getting appropriate medical attention for life threatening pregnancy. People keep saying it does but I haven't seen anything to prove otherwise
@@FalonGrey an ectopic pregnancy is when a fetus starts developing outside of the uterus, and if it’s left to grow is causes life threatening blood loss and the damage of nearby organs. Many people, like myself, are prone to this and if I were to become pregnant, I would need access to the proper healthcare to ensure this doesn’t happen. Even though they laugh through it in retrospect now, she really did almost die.
@@Pigeonsandoranges if you can’t think of a single ripple affect that comes from stripping people of the right to have a say on what happens to their bodies, and the affect that forcing unviable pregnancies has on ectopic pregnancies, in a field that notoriously does not take women’s pain seriously, I cannot help you. Do your own research the internet is free.
if kristen was rushed to a hospital, in texas, today, she would be dead. because of the abortion ban. as it is right now ectopic pregnansies arent acted upon until the mother is close to death. leading to more dead moms with unviable babies for no reason.
I'm happy kristen is still alive.
ironic reality, isnt it?
This makes me so angry- glad she got lucky. We gotta keep fighting for reproductive rights.
You’re spreading misinformation. It’s literally one google search away. Ectopic pregnancies are not considered abortions, and therefore not illegal in Texas.
Pregnancies*
Also, this is 100% incorrect. An ectopic pregnancy is not viewed as an abortion, it is viewed as an "emergency surgery" because it is a life or death situation. States that banned abortion even have specific exceptions that allow life and death emergency surgery to terminate a pregnancy legally. Please, stop getting your information off of Tik Tok, and do some actual research before making a very incorrect statement with such confidence.
@@scoutart1508 no, because the statement above is 100% wrong.
Oh jeez, that's horrifying. I'm glad she was okay.
And people wanna ban stuff that saved her
Right? It’s really upsetting to know that if this happened to her today, depending on where she was at the time, there’s a chance she’d die
@@TimeTravelingAsshole Yeah. It really sucks. It's a scary time in America.
She sounds so happy talking about her internal bleeding😭
Damn Im glad kristen survived, we cannot lose one of the two real life mabels (The other being ariel)

Oh my gosh, that sounds extremely terrifying, I’m glad Kristen is doing okay… or at least I hope she is

This totally feels like Stan or even Bill
her macabre murder-suicide joke and then the resounding awkward “aww...eheheh...hah...” from the other guests that comes after reminds me of my post-r*pe abortion where i joked that i had gotten a “parasitic worm removal” to everyone who asked about it 😭 only after like two weeks of many peoples’ awkward laughter (exactly like this interview) did i realize that it was extremely uncomfortable for everyone else, but hey, i only ever told anyone who actually asked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
(mabel voice) yeah that was fun. but i lived!
edit: hey if you ask a 13 year old r*pe victim about “what they did with the thing” then you deserve to be told about my parasitic worm. Cope and seethe 🥰🥰🥰
That sounds terrible, it's just so weird talking to people who casually recall themselves being put through that. Rape has always seemed as bad as murder in my head, but the people just... keep living normally in this case, it's like talking to ghosts. I'm at least glad you and all those people are ok
"parasitic worm removal" is a great way of phrasing it. I'm so fucking glad you were able to get dewormed. I hope you've gotten the help and support you need and have been kind to yourself. R* is an unimaginable horror, even more so when the scum infects you with a parasite. If people get uncomfortable with reality and the truth then that's on them. You didn't make them uncomfortable. The trauma and terror that was forced on you and the aftermath of it made them uncomfortable.
@@SeranaZentha It's literally none of your business what they or anyone else does, it's their body. "Easily put up for adoption". Please.
@@delicatz9907 Relax, bro. He was just voicing his opinion, which makes sense. Rape sucks, but killing an unborn child that had no way of preventing the situation just makes it worse.

Where in the world did you get that idea?

You would NOT be able to watch BoJack Horseman bro 😭
Close your eyes while watching this, Mabel is fully in the room
Eptopic pregnancies are horrible. Imagine internally exploding and not knowing what's up. Until you realise you internally exploded
Weird having the Creators of Gravity Falls, Rick & Morty & The

I mean, they all know each other. Not that strange.
It’s how she sounds so happy when it’s just her cute voice. Like she nailed Mabel
She’s an amazing actor! You could say... she is the BEST at it!
(In case no one gets that reference, that’s another one of Kristen’s voice roles, Victoria Best from WordGirl)
To avoid near death experiences like this the treatment for an ectopic pregnancy is an abortion
It bans so many things that medically are not abortions but are considered to be by law. This is a glowing example of why lawmakers need to stay out of medicine, they do not know more than doctors
It is abortion, however it doesn't matter because it should still be done for her health lol@@spiwolf6998
“But I lived! 🥰😜✨”
Hey you know, I don't want to be "that guy", but I think the recent news with Roe v. Wade is why this video was recommended to me in the first place so. We're getting dangerously close to a country that makes treating this life threatening emergency she had illegal, and feloniously punishable for the would be mother and the doctors who treated her. There's an alternate story where Kristen Schaal bled to death because doctors refused to "abort her baby".
If you were ever "on the fence" about these sort of things, childbirth complications like this happen aaaaaaalll the tiiiiiime. What Kristen went through is really not that uncommon.
Ectopic pregnancies ≠ abortion.
@@annafebland4460 Hence the "quotations", but yes.
They'll never make surgeries for ectopic pregnancies illegal. Any emergency situation that requires a termination in pregnancy will never become illegal. Every state that has currently banned abortion has made specific exceptions to emergency surgeries.
@@jaywin3688 Also, it’s not a termination of pregnancy in the traditional sense, it’s the removal of a dead fetus. It’s as much of an “abortion” as the removal of stillborn.
@@jaywin3688 Hey, heres hoping. But "saying" is one thing, and their actions speak way louder.

I'm happy she survived
"Did you die?!?"
"Sadly, yes... 1:27"
It's so strange hearing the voice of Mabel talking about such a brutal thing
And she was saved by a medical procedure that is now categorized as an abortion.
No, it is not. It is an emergency surgery. States that banned abortion have made specific exceptions for life threatening emergencies. You have the most powerful search engine at your fingertips and you chose to still comment something completely wrong.
Roe vs Wade just got overturned the other day, which has caused this clip to take a significantly darker tone.
My sister just had an ectopic pregnancy and I’m glad I live in a country where she could immediately get it removed before it became life threatening. My heart goes out to everyone facing barriers to necessary medical procedures
Roe vs Wade doesn't have anything to do with ectopic pregnancies. Abortion is a completely different subject.
@@jaywin3688 ??? The procedure to treat an ectopic pregnancy is by definition an abortion. I think you might be confused
@@jaywin3688 getting an ectopic removed or a fetus that isnt comlatible with life is LITERALLY medically called "spontaneous abortion" it falls under roe much like other procedures do. Please educate yourself
@@jaywin3688 yes it does. Abortion will save the parent’s life in the case of an ectopic pregnancy
