i would look up references photos of victorian houses and pretty much do the same thing if not similar, or just play around to the roof and sometimes make it more pointy in certain area
Same here! It’s so hard for me to visualize the roofs esp when I see how creative simmers can get with utilizing a bunch of smaller roofs to create a certain look
some of my roofs are separate from the wall and when is raining electric things are ruined 😱 but if I cover that empty space the roof would get inside the house
For the wrap around porch roofing! 1. Grab yourself a half gabled roof and put it on the left side of the octagon room. Adjust to your liking but keep the roof end length on the lowest setting. 2. Grab a octagon roof and keep the roof end length on the lowest setting as well! 3. Put the tip of the octo-roof IN the octagon room. (Sorry about the confusing words.) 4. There you have it! A wrap around porch roof! Hope this helps!
It’s interesting how different people see Victorian style homes. That doesn’t look Victorian to me because I’m so used to the city style (UK) of tiny brick houses that are super skinny. This makes me think of the American civil war/ earlier in American.
Yeah, it would of made way more sense if she said a 19th century home rather than Victorian, as victorian is associated with Britain and that architectural style in the video is definitely American.
Not enough decorations, starts over /j But honestly, it's a great example of a Queen Anne house. It's sad sims didn't gave use more roofs to use, i hope they'll rework on it
To be entirely honest I make the towers square in my “Queen Anne” style buildings or make a logical backstory to the building and its place in the neighborhood(for example the neighborhood that the goths live in in willow creek in my opinion used to be one large estate before being split up into income producing lots)
There's these little up and down arrows in the top right corner between the lightbulb and the room icon. Click on those to move to the second floor and then place another room. I hope that helped!
Yo this video angered me because you could have explained other essential bits to adding things to the house in three seconds that would have actually allowed me to follow this video... like how to add a plat form. "Easy steps" ...unless you leave things out. Then its not easy. I have to leave your video and come back to it lol. And on top of it, other videos didn't help because people do things differently and I had to figure part of it out on my own.
I also made a full video if you want further explanation on some of the steps: ruclips.net/video/PjawnKGOyak/видео.html
I dont know if you know but RUclips have issues with links in the comments. Your link don't actually work
My biggest issue with builds like these are how to do roofing. Would love a separate video on how to do roofing for Victorian houses.

FYI. Victorian is a period of time. Not a house style.
There are many house styles from that era. :)
Obviously, but this style is often called “Victorian” because it was from that time period
How many money do you need
Where are the windows?
How do you make the porch circular??
