What is the 'adhesive promoter?' I have a box and am only covering about 4 inches of the tip of the splitter and 3 inches on each side where their is a dip in the splitter that also tends to scrape. So I have about 7 strips left with only half the adhesive promoter left. I presume it is some chemical that I can access by itself. Edit: 3M adhesion promoter. Found it.
