- Hey everyone, welcome back to Daily Downshift. Today we are installing the most important protection for our vehicle; SLiPLO. This is a heavy duty bumper scrape guard which protects the underside of your paint and carbon fiber. We have recently installed tons of expensive carbon fiber on the BMW M2 so it was absolutely necessary to install this universal skid plate. The install was super easy and we even tested it out on a curb so you don't have to! We hope you enjoy!

SHEEEESH my heart dropped when you started to hit the curb XD
Gotta test everything!
Great for folks that are walking and trip and fall.
The car is 🔥🔥
Whoop love it !!!
Would love to see some PPF on the front end as well. SlipLo does work.
What is PPF?

does this skid plate work for polyethylene bumpers too??
Best solution so far, forget about those complicated lift systems, which will STILL scrape eventually.
I would like to see if this can protect lip when it's hit 😂
That’s not a bad idea but it’s far from a complete solution. The biggest problem with a low-slung car is going to be kerbs and car park wheel stops. Angle-parking really compounds the difficulty. Currently fixing my SRT8 bumper yet again and I’m going to add additional parking sensors to capture this level.
I wonder if the front pieces should be a bit further back so they are not visible
They say 10mm behind but you can adjust based on personal preference
@@DailyDownshift So would you reccomend middle then?
@@senorbonbon 1 inch in.
How has it worked so far up to date? Has any of it fallen off?
We manufacturing this.
My only concern is that now it’s even lower…
exactly.. kind of useless
The bumper surface would have not been scraped/scratched doing what you did! it's 3/8" higher than the product you installed.. 😑
Took my M2 to new Zealand where they have bat shit crazy ramps onto the road that could not be designed better to scrape and damage cars. Just sports cars? Nope try again, all cars!
