Milwaukee Ray Allen had so much bounce in his game; people forget how athletic he was during his Bucks and Sonics years.
To me, he's the most clutch 3-point shooter of all time.

When I think of a "super team", I'm thinking more of a few young All-NBA quality players in their primes who should be leaders on their own teams joining up with each other to stack the deck (think Heat, Warriors). The three Celtics guys were at the tail end of their primes and into their 30s. I never thought of them as a super team, just a few aging stars who had languished on bad teams most of their careers and wanted to make a run before they got too old.

He is a complete package. Can create his own shot of the dribble and has the footwork to separate himself from the defender with step back shots takeaways etc. has a post up game so putting a smaller guard on him won't work, has a great off ball movement, so bigger guards have a hard time defending him, is a capable passer, though his defense is questionable. He is a matchup nightmare.

tsl bop nah the only comparisons you can make between Ray and Klay’s game is their 3pt shooting. Klay was never the well-rounded offensive player that Ray was in his Bucks/Sonics years. Klay is a spot up/catch and shoot player who can occasionally cut to the basket if the spacing is right, he’s never been a great dunker either, Ray was at one point. If anything Klay and Celtics era Ray Allen are the more comparable players. Although Klay is the far superior defensive player. Klay won’t ever be a 1st option.

Ray-Ray is easily my favorite 2 guard besides MJ. I always loved how he could break his man down off the dribble, take stop and pop 3s, attack the basket and he's arguably the most effective shooter coming off screens in NBA history! all day, everyday and over Curry, Lillard or Kyrie. Ray Allen played in a league where there were centers and you were actually able to touch eachother without getting a flagrant 2, every stat after 2004 should have an asterisk. Ray Allen is the greatest off the dribble jump shooter of all time, actually Abdul Rauf is the greatest, Allen is second. Steph Curry in 1988 NBA is EXACTLY his dad, a coming off the bench jump shooter, he would not start on over half the teams. What the fuuuuck would Curry do against Magic, Cooper, Scott ? Isiah, Joe D or Vinnie ? John Starks, Ainge, Mario Ellie, Vern Maxwell, Andrew Toney or a Joe Dumars, they would have put Currys game in their back pocket. Delladenova put a crimp in Curry's finals play AND THAT was under 3 referee, don't touch me BITCH ASS rules for fucks sake. The NBA of today compared to the 80s and 90s is like comparing a flag football league to the NFL.
