Looks like in the end the only winners were the Suns who got a decent upgrade from their pick and Bridges who gets to play with Ayton and Booker on a developing team

Michael Carter-Williams having that stat line against a good team shows he was not a bust, just no one believed in him, it doesn’t matter if he was a star on a bad team, but to lead that horrible team to a amazing win with amazing stats is insane. His confidence just shook and his minutes weren’t as good anymore after that season.
MCW was a product of a system that was a high paced offense with no defense. Rarely operated in the half court. The sixers were purposely showing off players to see if teams would buy into it when they were tanking. Whether he lost his confidence or not is secondary because he was never going to be this franchise PG. You have to be able to do more than run the fast break and pick and roll.
