  • Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Fry Oven - Cleaning. Now I must admit that I haven't had a lot of time lately so this is why my Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Fry Oven looks so badly. But, I managed to clean it up substantially, not like new but it's okay with me. I am not perfect but I believe I'm a least 80 percent and I will not be hard myself. Take a look at what I used with items that are already in my home.
    I used:
    Baking Powder
    Vinegar
    Dishwashing liquid
    Brillo
    Brush

Thank you Stephanie. My wife and I use ours on a daily basis. We got it this past Christmas. It is an awesome little machine amd cooks oir food perfectly. Unfortunately it gets dirty and is hard to clean. I appreciate you making this video as my wife has been complaining she can't get the oven clean. I'm going to try to surprise her with a clean oven using your method as sponges and magoc erasers are not cutting it. As they say, happy wife happy life LOL. Thank you.

Hi Samuel! Boy, you are a great husband. This method worked well for me as you can see, my oven was dirty and it was still not 100 percent but much better than before. Use just a little less soap to make it easier to clean out. All and all it worked well. Let me know how your oven comes out.

    • @LotsOfBologna2
      @LotsOfBologna2 Год назад +1

You can clean the heating elements and the guards the exact same as everything else.
What I did after I finished scrubbing everything (including all the heating elements) was a couple minutes air fry on low temperature with nothing in the oven (I did 300). That intake fan running full power will clean out any gunk you accidently got in the fan or back parts you can't get to (it will end up inside the oven in the back corners so you have to wipe it off)
Then the heating rods will turn the baking soda into semi-hard crumbs that fall right off when running a damp paper towel into that tiny space between the guards and the rods.
So yeah, just clean everything and run the oven empty for a few minutes to help you finish up.

Brillo/brush needs to be some what soft. Steel wool or hard scrub pad/brush can scratch up the oven. Just warning yall. A sponge with the scrub side (softened or slightly used) and a toothbrush is best.
Also if you allow the "paste" to sit few hours or overnight, the built up grease comes off easier.

I am considering getting the ninja foodi xl I like the fact that it's bigger and it will most likely be alot easier to clean cause the elements at the bottom are higher than the one I have. Using all that liquid in an electrical appliance is a bad idea especially the vinegar which is an acid and will eat the parts inside the oven where you can't get at to wipe it out like around the fan and the electrical connections inside the walls of the oven. Next time try a Mr Clean magic eraser or cloths it is a lot easier, damp wipe after using.

Disappointing when I see people who want to believe that somehow vinegar and baking soda can help clean anything. Sorry, vinegar is an acid, and baking soda is a base, alkaline. When they meet, the first thing they do is equalize the -pH or the vinegar with the +pH of the baking soda. The bubbles are simply excess C02 released. The results is a basically a water solution either very weakly acidic or alkaline depending upon which there was more of.
I have to go clean my XL grill, and a simple brillo pad with a baking soda paste will work much, much better as alkalines breakdown greases much more than acids, unless you want to use a much, much stronger acid.
    You probably don't.
