  • We installed a 55" Samsung Frame TV on a fireplace that we helped rough-in. The conduit runs down to the components to the right, where the homeowner will have a cabinet installed. We also installed an AppleTV for streaming content and one pair of 8" in-ceiling speakers for TV audio / music.

Hi- great work on this project. I was told by a salesman that the more recent Frame TVs cannot be installed on a brick fireplace, as the depth variations on the brick don't allow the TV to be hung properly. Did you have to use a special mount/system to hand the Frame on a non-uniform surface like the stone in the video? Thanks for any input.

As they say - where there's a will there's a way. This video showcases probably the worst case scenario - stone fireplace plus this generation of Frame TV uses two separate mount pieces (not one whole bracket), and it was very doable. You can use spacers and other methods to 'even' out the mout before you attach the TV. Just takes some effort and knowledge. Good luck!

Hi, I would like to do this on my stone fireplace, what screws will hold the TV on stone? I have a 65 inch TV

Hey Eric - these are going to vary by application, but generally we are just using a typical lag screw.

Hey Jennifer! When this home was under construction we installed a ~1.5" conduit in the wall that exits to the right of the firpelace. The conduit, and its size, allows for the One Connect cable to be routed out of sight up to the TV. Conversely, certain stone sizes/shapes allow for the cable to be routed along the face of it, down to where you might have your equipment located - we've done this on a number of installations where a conduit wasn't available and the home owner understood the cable may be visible.
