Thank you for producing this, very helpful. Question: I have the same mount which I am getting ready to install on a 77 inch TV. We have drywall with 16 inch stud spacing (so each bracket would only hit one stud). How many fasteners would you run in this scenario? Is it just two screws per bracket into the studs and would that be adequate to hold the Samsung TV? (in this case its an S95C -the latest model). Many thanks for the assist. Instructions are not very clear from Samsung
I’m going to be honest with that TV I would end up good with the slimmest Wallmount you can get but not the no gab wall mount. I only say that because if it’s anything like the S 95 from this year it mounts at the bottom of the TV so it’s still gonna have some gap to it no matter what also because that TV is so darn thin usually when I mounting that TV I’ll end up using slim mounts, but not the no gap wall mount. It’s way easier to mount that way and gives you the same desired distance without the headache
Great review, i purchased this new Samsung 75inch frame Tv from brandsmart came today 7/12/21,the salesman assured me they had great installers, once they opened the box they had no clue of how to install this New frame Tv, i called their customer service and cussed them out so we had to get the managers of brandsmart plus Samsung involved, Samsung claimed they had no clue brandsmart had issues installing it, so an independent Specialist is coming out to install but I'm having to wait another week this sucks, i have a feeling this going to be a major issue with these New Model Samsung Frame TVs, they're eventually going to have to redo the New Wall Mounts to something simple.
Yep...I had a guy scheduled from Handy for my "free install" from Samsung. I asked if he ever hung one before and he never heard of it. I promptly cancelled. 8-/
Great video! what is the size of your tv? we are looking for those mounting brackets dimensions and tv dimensions. It is hard to get without the actual package online.
Thank you!! I have a question for you, the Slim mount that you are installing, allows for two different size spacers between tv and wall, one is 1.5 mm and the other, i believe is 7mm, the cushions or pads are attached to the back of the tv at 4 different locations, and the spacer used with the screw to attach the bracket to the back of the tv is also different between and again, depends on the size of the spacers or the amount of space you want between the tv and wall, my question is this, the instructions only shows that the stickon plastic stickers with the arrows pointing at each other, should only be used on the 7mm spacing, what do you get from this? Do you think that with the 1.5mm spacing, that the stickers should not be used? Thank you.
These tvs are actually super easy to install, even though it looks tricky. Get a 4-foot level to help make your brackets even. And I have used those anchors in drywall - they get a good bite, and the fact that the tv sits so close to the wall diffuses the stress on the drywall, so it won't "just fall right off". It's actually pretty easy to hit studs with the bracket though, hit at least one if you can. Bonus Comment: if you doubt the strength of drywall anchors watch the video by Project Farm with his testing.
Thanks for the video. I ordered the QN 90 tv today from Best Buy and the Slim Mount from Amazon, best price, and since the TV is 85 inches I bought Best Buy total tech in order to have the TV installed along with wire management issues and any other service they may provide. Fingers crossed they know what they're doing.
Great video, out of curiosity though...those four holes on the back of the telly right where the one connect wire goes, are those for a standard vesa mount?
Hey man great vid. I cant shift my tv at all after its mounted + connected to the magnets, should it require a lot of force or am i missing something? my installer installed it level but the ceiling is slightly out of level so i just want to raise the right side slightly (.25 inch prob)
Great video! Thanks for sharing. Would you know where can I find a copy of the paper template of the wall mount which shows the measurements and where to drill. I used to stick the paper template on wall then mark and drill. Unfortunately, I do not have a second copy.
Is it just two screws per side? The instructions say 2 into the stars and 2 into any of the triangles, for each side. Would 2 screws on the left and 2 screws on the right be enough to hold the TV up?
Does your TV have a gap at the back? Mine is tilted a little downward. I am not sure if I have to get the magnets to engage at the bracket attached to the back of the TV.
What i learned to get my Samsung frame Tv 2021 to sit completely flat on the wall, the mounts on the back of the tv before hanging it i adjusted both mounts outward, when we hung it the mounts will move inward allowing you to push the frame completely against the wall.
@@polofunk Thanks. I figured it out before. Before engaging the magnets; the hooks needs to fully engaged and click on the mounting bracket at the back of the TV then push back to engage the magnet. You should hear the magnet fully engage and it's loud.
I wish it said what size Frame TV this is for! And I really wish Samsung had better support info. TV ordered but not delivered yet so no template - trying to get information for installing blocking in a wall to hang an 85" Frame TV - even went to the Samsung store and they don't have any dimensions!! Very frustrating!!
I installed my 65 inch but when I want to tilt it down from the top it has resistance and just straightens back up. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks in advance.
You can’t really tilt the frame down like other mounts this one’s meant just to lay flat like a picture to keep it on tilt you soul have to shove something between the back of the wall and the top back of the tv
I have the 75qn95a hanging and at the bottom in the brackets but it is not attached to the wall yet, the magnet has not acted. Do i have to do something else?
I need help here. In india, the installation is done by Samsung themselves. But the thing is, when their person came to install, he said the TV needs about 4" on both sides and the TV needs to slide left-right before it can be installed flush with wall. I have about 3" on both sides and he said installation won't be possible and tried to sell a conventional non standard frame for extra cost and which will not be as flush. As I can see here, it probably doesn't need to slide left-right to install. Can you please confirm? I've sent back the installer for now and may need to raise complaint with Samsung if he's indeed trying to cheat.
@@ghostlyrich The metal bar that folds up does not rest completely at the bottom of the groove of the wall mount, I do not understand and the pads above do not touch the wall
@@ghostlyrich There are like lugs blocking the passage of the spacer and I dare not force. The TV is well fixed but I can see that the spacer is not fully inserted on the left and right
My TV only came with 2 small square metal pieces. Am I supposed to have the rectangular ones as well? I am really confused and samsung customer service is absolutely 0 help
As mentioned and shown in the video it requires a one connect box what you can do and what I have done in the past is bought a low-voltage panel and mounted it behind the TV and put the one connect box inside there with a power plug you just won’t be able to use a cable box unless you buy an IR system and you can mount the cable box in the low-voltage box as well and put an IR bug on the bottom of the TV or use the Samsung remote and set it up as a universal remote or if you have a conduit simply run the cable down the conduit make sure you run the one connect side of the cable down the conduit as the TV side will not fit through mouse conduit just be careful as the cable is expensive and it is fibreoptic
You do not need to use this wall mount you'll have mountain holes on the back of it so you can still attach a universal wall mount to the back end if you don't like how this all works. The one connect only comes with the frame TVs now

Yes in solid wood. Or two toggler anchors in each will hold

The mount has a tendency to not sit completely flat to allow heat to escape now the slight incline is normal
