- I show you how to fix a Samsung Galaxy Tab A that has a black screen of death, won't restart, won't boot, can't boot, frozen, unresponsive, can't see anything on screen, half of screen is black, screen is dim, etc without taking the Tab A apart. This will work for most of you but not all of you. Please like it worked and dislike if these methods did not work.

I didn't pay my tablet no attention for years. I was on the verge of going to get it fixed. I didn't know what could went wrong cause it didn't touch any water or wasn't dropped/damaged. I was always gentle with it. Well I followed your steps and after some charging, it came on like nothing ever happened. I'm so happy! It saved me a lot of money. I was instantly so excited that I called my husband and said I fixed it myself. Well with the help of you. He said is I'm kidding him 😂 Thanks so much!!!
Thanks for posting all of these options👍! They certainly helped! The bottom of my phone screen was partially black, and i could not see my keyboard. Needless to say, that was quite frustrating. Initially, I followed all of your techniques (more than once) to correct the issue, and somehow it corrected the problem. However, moments after it was corrected, the partial black screen appeared again. So, I was back to frustration 😣! Then I started to think about how I may have created the problem, and it dawned on me that I had used a disinfectant wipe on the phone, and it may have allowed moisture to get trapped inside the screen. After this realization, I decided to apply heat from a hair dryer to the black area, and I only did that for about 10-15 seconds. Voila! It worked! No more partial black screen. I thought perhaps your subsribers may benefit from this discovery. Thanks again because your techniques led me to the solution.

I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it

OMG!!! I was just about to give up! I tried all the methods you gave in this video, and nothing worked. I gave it some slaps and was so frustrated. I was about to toss it on the wall. Then I tried the power button with the volume up, and it came up immediately. Thank you so much for this video. My tablet has been down for almost a year. Dude ur a life saver ..... I went to buy groceries and when I came back my tab is literally not working .... like it's showing the part of the charge and all but it's not showing my lock screen wall paper instead it's showing a black screen I freaked out and first I slapped at my tab for 2 min and it did nothing... so I pressed the power button for around 10 seconds and for my surprise it restarted .... but I didn't get the warning screen instead it was already back to normal.... thank u buddy ...

Holy crap! I actually had this issue a year or so ago and took the whole back off and adjusted the ribbon. I was looking for that video again but found this one first and tried the "rough massage" and it worked! Sooo glad I didn't have to take the blasted thing apart again. The kids have been begging me to fix it, and now I can watch my house shows while I fold the laundry so win win win.
This is what i wrote him:Omg thnk you so much so I was playing a game and the raged and hit my head on my tablet 4 times and then the last time very hard and then it shut of and would not turn on and then it did but it showed glitched colors like it was glitched but not broken.I was really freaked out but I followed your godly step and pushed very hard on all the locations on the back of my tablet firmly on litteral everywhere again very hard and it worked it is as before now.I think i pushed something off and now is back on and thr thing is i heard a big click once and then a couple more little ones after so yeah thanks a big like from me!!

Had the same issue again with my old tablet, (will get a new one eventually when I have the money). This time the power and volume button was not working, even when I left it to charge for 10min's. What did work was running my fingers across the back.

Thank you for making this available; I did the "press & hold power and volume down" and I came back like normal. Prior to this episode, the Tab A was updating...I NEVER allow my computers to update, 'cause when I do, sh#@% happens!

didn't come back on with the initial methods, but the screen came back on after I got to the method of giving it a couple of whacks on the front and on the back. What does that mean does that mean my ribbon is loose and needs to be fastened because this is the second time this happened to me the first time just rubbing it in the back up and down made it come back on this time it didn't come back on until I hit the tablet in the front and back a few times. How do we permanently correct this problem? Thanks in advance for your advice.
