- Wiring. Part 1. THE PLAN....Laying it all out (well most of it)...But my harness is laid out and RAN, which is a huge step forward in its electrical system and EgoBruise's build.
HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13th!
In this Episode its all about figuring out where its all going to go, how its going to fit cleanly, and if any of the M-6017-23T Ford control pack harness will need to be altered of not to fit in our '79 Mustang Coupe.
That much closer Mike! Keep forging ahead.
Looking very nice!
Nice work Mike!
Good job Dula!👍
Good work as always Mike! I cant wait to hear this thing run.
Thanks man!
Was going to say Glad to see you back. Then I checked....My notifications were off , hmmm youtube pirates I guess . Looks as if I have some catching up to do.... GL ttys
Prob only missed a few episodes ;) Just now gettng back in the swing from a scorching hot summer.
Mini-Split!! best thing I ever did in my shop and yea man the older we get , that heat or cold is just brutal on them bones lol@@HOUSEOFDULA
Good to see you making someone progress. Maybe starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel?
Its far and dim, but its there! lol
@@HOUSEOFDULA 😄
Also are you going to use a inertia switch in your fuel system??
Good question. No, this car didnt even have one being carb. If it was, then yes Id use it likely because why not.
@@HOUSEOFDULA I would look into putting one on it could save the car if ever in an accident plus you got too much $$$ in that not too
Right on man, glad you are getting back after it!
Great work Mike!
Nice, im still deciding if using the ford control module or one of those companies that sell drop in kits is the best option, thoughts after planning all this?
Man, really depends...If your using a 6R80 auto then go with the kit. Manual, the control pack works. I like the Ford kit, because it eliminates all the the extra unnecessary clutter, but it is too $$$ IMO and comes with more plastics/ hoses etc than needed. I wish they offered a stipped down kit that had just the ECU, harness and sensors.
I sure hope you're keeping the luggage rack on the deck lid
I am not, lol sorry. I just cant do the luggage rack, I get it would be rad and goes with the theme but I just cant.
Nice work! What’s the plan for paint ready to see that video
Once all the main stuff is ran and figured out, I plan to disassemble it all again for paint. Its getting painted avalanche gray, keeping red interior.
Ur wiring definitely cleaner than mines and ur battery on the passenger side mines on the driver side😆. Im slowly cleaning up my harness.
lol all good! Man its work to make it somewhat not visible. I always put the batt on the passenger side ..whole weight balance thing I guess ;)
@@HOUSEOFDULA I understand keep up the good work
Is the HARNESS modified or the OEM of removed from ecoboost car ?
Actually neither. Its 100% build from scratch from Ford for engine swapping. So its all new designed, but modeled pretty close to OEM because of engine sensor placement, fuse box etc is relatively in the same position...the ECU is also not OEM and specific to this engine swap kit. The sole purpose of this kit is to run the engine, nothing else.
@@HOUSEOFDULA Thank you very much would you please advise from where I can get it ?
@@HOUSEOFDULA Do you think that if used the OEM Harness and ECU will work? If not Can you share the like where I can get the ECU and harness that you used. Sorry to disturb you but parted out 2015 ecoboost and I bought a foxbody 87
