I wonder if Zane's absurd reaction to being on fire is related to anything his brother would have done to him?
Yeah I noticed his screams when on fire were just a little bit extra than the others..
Adding to this is how much focus he has on Cryo.
Two Augments for two of his Skills, one skill in Hitman and several in Under-Cover.
If Captain did burn him a lot when they were younger, he'd want Cryo to cool himself off quickly.
And he has Futility Belt, that lets him get DOTs off him quicker. Like if he's burning.

@@leSmokySmoke listen up dummy head what he meant by that was the recoil in the previous borderlands are horrendous, simply terrible. Even if u had a good aim the ar's in borderlands 2 would sway so much, and u had no ability to control the recoil. U obivously havent played the previous borderlands series, and even if u did consider playing with the ar's. We dont give a shit about the damage i mean we do at some point but aiming is satisfying.
People have been sleeping on Zane man, with all this Fl4k hype...

No commentary portions of the video are really nice. Lot's of youtubers talk over their entire video and don't let the audience enjoy the game play and audio. Solid vids, my dude.
True, but some people like that. I don't mind some commentary but there are YTers that CONSTANTLY talk without taking a breath as if narrating every little thing going on like I'm listening to a radio broadcast and not WATCHING what is happening with my own eyes!

Barrier + Drone = Defender / Support for teammates / Targeted damage with survivability
Drone + Digi-Clone = Suppression / Kill-Skill oriented / High damage glass-cannon
Digi-Clone + Barrier = Battlefield control / Constant shield regen / Reliable all-rounder
Zane may not be the flashiest of the new Vault Hunters, but the man has an answer to every situation... ;)

He's my main since the game's 1st trailer that came out. After the 1st gameplay and skill tree reveals, I got sure he would be a hell of a Vault Hunter. So versatile and stuff... His endgame looks awesome too.
@@Fiftyjunior2 I like his cc capability and the fact that hes more gun focus freezing enemies and and landing head shots with Jacob's weapons and having it crit and bounce is going to be a dream
The combo I am going for is clone plus shield. When I get to the dome shield, it will have shield and health regen plus 25% damage boost and when I keep my clone in the dome shield and all my allies, they are all gonna deal 25% more damage. That is gonna be extraordinary. Also the capstone skill on Zane makes his clone spawn with Zane's currently equipped weapon, plus the clone doesn't miss. That means you can make the clone spawn with a sniper or a rocket launcher (or a tediore weapon which spawns turrets? I don't know if that would be possible but if it is its gonna be sick) and he won't miss. On top of that, if a melee based enemy comes near either him or his clone, he can just teleport and do cryo nova damage each time he teleports. This I think is the best Zane build you can achieve.
The game has an achievement called "This is fine" for fire dmg dealt...INSTANT PREORDER

Fl4k pistol would have been perfect for Hitman Zane. Zane was losing so much DPS because he only got the extra projectile/shot chance on his first 5 shots so being able to replenish that Everytime he reloaded would have helped a lot IMO

Also thanks for really taking a good look at the guns and their fire modes (not enough people do that when they loot chests in their videos).

I'd like to know if they have plans to save skill loadouts, I think with all the possibilities it would be fun to save multiple builds for testing and be able to change it quicker in a quick change station, instead of just reseting points to re-spec
@@HGRezende that would be dope af! Monster Hunter allows you to save loadouts.
Just out of curiosity, what other skill would you have chosen? I've got a clone/shield build with Zane that I think be borderline broken if it works the way I think it will.

Questions about Zane:
How often can you swap places with Digi-clone?
Does the dome augment for Barrier make it so when you pick it up it surrounds your entire body in a small sphere? Or does it go back to only covering the front?
Are the Sentinel and Digi-clone still able to trigger grenade skills even when going with 2 Action Skills?
Does swapping out your nades in your inventory affect them mid-activation?
Bonus question for Amara/Moze:
Are you able to change the Action Skill Element/Iron Bear loadout at any time (mid activation for Moze?)?
And if yes, does doing so put your Action Skill on cooldown?
I know only one question's answer. "Are the Sentinel and Digi-clone still able to trigger grenade skills even when going with 2 Action Skills?" Yes they uses nades even while you have 2 action skills.

it looked like the zane had way better guns though. if you watch fl4k kill that first Skag of Survival. you can see what he can do

When Zane screams its fucking hilarious. The guns in this game are fucking sick. Everything looks so crisp. I cant wait to see this game on my 65in 4k HDR TV.
Man I'm so excited for this game. I almost got caught up in the FL4K hype because I definitely wanted to use Zane. Watching this makes me want to play Zane again lol.
Zane plus clone is gonna be OP as hell and I am going with that build. I can't wait to rek everyone on my screen.

thoughts on zane double agent vs hitman build I feel like having kill skills active when you use your action skill is op aswell as increases effect and duration on all kill skills!!! vs your digi clone having a copy of your gun but I feel like he would die on higher difficulties because like all pets ai isn't as good as a real player
Zane's clone doesn't miss any shots, unlike Flak's pets, which shoot and miss a lot of the times. Think of Zane as not an AI but a simple script written if(enemy on screen){raycast to taget}. He is like torb's turret from OW.
The sound design on this game is fucking superb

It’s s shame you couldn’t get a second ability on Zane but thank you for taking the time to play with the guns you looted from the chest showing the alternate firing loses etc. thank you! What was your opinion on Zane vs Flak. A lot of people are speculating that late game flak might fall off and Zane will be overpowered. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks again. @@BlazeLunaris using two actions skills makes you unable to use any grenades sadly
You can still use plenty of grenades as zane even with two action skills equipped. If you look at the skill trees for him the grenade skills are pretty insane actually

Raph920 have you looked down the Digi clone tree? There’s a duct tape mod which allows you to fire grenades from your gun, a skill which allows you to constantly to regenerate grenades and a skill that uses the grenades to massively buff ur clone. And on top of that there is the hitman tree which offers more grenade abilities
A little disappointed that you didnt have but action skills equipped. However it was good to see how the grenade mode worked with just one action skill. I could only imagine how many grenades you've dropped with 2 action skills
I think it shows that it's still viable but I'd never use just one ability

Do I have to have played the first two in order to play this one?
Nope. Its made to introduce new players, but the story and characters will be quite nonsensical if you havent played the previous games. Note I am also including the pre sequel and tales from the borderlands. They are important as well.

So I wonder if there is ever a legit reason to switch from full auto fire mode on some of these guns to semi auto or burst? None of the guns look like they have much recoil and I imagine the damage is no different between the modes is it?
that's my thinking too! Doesn't seem to be much use
Think it's mainly for the scope when ADS. Check 13:25 when in full auto it's a 1x scope and when in semi-auto it looks like a 5x scope. So yeah full auto has better DPS but semi-auto can take out enemies from across the map
@@dstg0001 Still tho who wants to semi auto an smg ya know? Just seems like one of those gimmicky things that's never gonna serve any practical purpose on a lot of these guns. Some are amazing tho, the shotgun switch with some of the AR's looks really powerful and the sticky rounds on torgue weapons looks AMAZING, especially on the shotties, just devastation incarnate. Also i've never gotten super high zoom weapons in Borderlands, hell in most situations the enemies are never more than like 30 meters away from you anyhow lol
Yeah agreed, Dahl's manufacture trait seams most disappointing. Maybe only exception being their snipers with burst fire. That's if your into snipers and can't find a Jacobs lol
Does anyone know what Radiation actually does?
Radiation: "Irradiated enemies damage enemies around them"
dmg over time, increase dmg taken and explode when they die if still radiated
Tldr: better slag, but isnt needed in higher difficulties.

I think this build was for 'journos who are bad at games'. A guy next to me rage quit for example haha.
@@BryanCentralYT I've seen quite a few people struggling in each of the playable areas so far, quite a few deaths too, especially players starting from scratch.
I love everything with the new borderlands apart from Zane's voice, something about it is just annoying as fuck, gonna steer away from him and focus on the other characters
