From what i played at Evo the closest way to have rematch is to use the save state feature. In MvC2 the save state in a match saves a state at the vs loading screen, so as long as no one wants to change teams its the fastest way
I consider the entire yo video games crew elite fighting game players. Seeing Justin Wong wipe the floor with them without breaking a sweat shows how true pros, aka super elites are in a league of their own. Wow. What a great time though!

If you have save state you could save at character select and then hit reset to team choose again I think.(just a theory)
