Iirc justin made something like a character pointsystem to limit the picks for a team to mix them up more and i think they made a tournament with these rules
I think its the era where everyone that played the game before and new the basic nuances can level up and come up with some crazy new tech for ratio tpurnaments and practice their setup online.

Everyone should be like Max, the guy just plays his favorite characters, he's not even interested in entering tournaments, why would he be a sweat lord that plays top tiers? top tiers are for competing, not for playing casually online.
He's good just at a local regional level not a national or world level, there quite a few players that plateau like that, it's quite rare for somebody to reach the highest level. maybe one out of 10 or 20 players at that level have the drive and dedication (and free time/travel money) to reach it.
