For what purpose is the top part that you switched from the old to the nee ?
To be honest I have no idea... I just know it should be on there! Sorry 👍
For anyone who comes to this video at a later date, I just changed my mount and fairly certain it's a safety precaution added by Ford to stop the mount totally collapsing it the rubber goes. The metal plate will not drop through the gap in the mount frame.
Нарешті хтось показав що треба знімати залізну пластину з старого суппорта и ставить на новий. Хтось продає з нею а хтось не, і не було зрозуміло чи то та сама диталь чі інша

Does a bad mount give of a rattling sound while driving?
Not really, its more of a clunk / knock while changing gear or switching engine off. If its a rattle while driving especially over uneven surfaces try checking your anti roll bar link arms first they normally sound like a rattle 👍
@@ALLTHINGSJIM thanks Jim. Ive replaced those, even the entire tie rods. Struts and strut mounts / plates. The rattle is still there.

@@Badboy365 unfortunately, no. The rattle is still there. I've got new mounts, new shocks and struts, new strut mounts, new wishbones, new tie rods and ends, basically a new set for my underchassis but that damn rattle is still there.

Hi as anyone had the mount complete fail ?
My friends as gone completely and snapped the bolt 🤦🏻♂️ can’t get any parts till Monday but what’s the chances he’s took something else out
I had that a few months back , snapped the bolt and damaged the mount so the engine dropped one side, the passenger c.v boot and drive shaft popped out so the grease went everywhere, luckily the bottom mount saved it from anymore damage 👍

The engine bay looks nothing like the 2012-15.
It's exactly what LW engine bay looks like right hand drive.....you need glasses
