Nice reply. My brother (actual brother) is the only one still in the Org. When he was trying to get me back in I told him even if the JW's are right, I'd rather be dead than spend eternity with a bunch of Jehovah's Witness's. The look on his face was priceless.
This reminds me of Catholic indoctrination before the Vatican II reforms in the 1960s when Catholic kids would think that their non-catholic classmates (especially Jewish kids) won't go to heaven.
My wife is getting calls from Sister's who have shunned her for over 2 years now. Maybe because Elders are Infuencing it as when they disfellowshipped her for marrying me without their permission she was conducting over 30 bible studies a month in as many as 5 languages. What they do not know because of slander she did nothing wrong! She is not apostate like me but has set borders to never allow shallow conditional friends in her life ever again. 😮 yes conditional love is not Christian and who needs it? The slander that rips through a Congregation after a disfellowshipping proves this is not from a loving God. I, We, can no longer except that in our lives.

I think that this opening of allowing members to greet DF'd ones briefly at the Kingdom Hall has opened the door wider than was expected. It's likely not the elders who are influencing the sister to make phone calls but her own heart. Sanderson encouraged meditating on God's mercy...anyone who does so may go beyond the current loosening of the rule not to greet a DF'd person.
Jehova needs to spend less time blessing WT construction efforts and more time removing sexually abusive elders immediately... why wait years to sift them out??? What a shame.
If they did that they wouldn't have any Elders left.

I left 7 years ago and i was told i would never find friends and happiness. I almost believed it. I was angry for a long time until something in me clicked. I took back control. Today i am happily married to an amazing woman and we have 2 kids. My friends are true and the bonds of love and friendship unconditional.
Back in the 80's a talk was given telling parents not to watch starwars nor buy toys related to the movie. They said it had sorcery in it. Today i know jws including elders who watch starwar movies and go to starwar conventions. Its always been about control and not questioning the decisions of the leaders.

My brother was a huge fan of star wars amassed a huge collection, then one day, he lost his lid then took his collection and took it to the dumpster. Now it's worth $$$$ what an idiot! I'm a huge star wars fan thanks to my mother. I didn't hear that star wars was banned in my congregation but I attributed my brother flipping his lid to "idol" worship as he torn down his Farah Fawcett's iconic red bathing suit poster off his door! I knew then my brother gotten fanatical.

I studied with JWs for a year before covid and a year into it. So I only had a few KH meetings before it went online. My past was Christian and baptized at 14 (now 50) and also studied other religions/philosophies so was open minded. Also was at low point in my life and it was nice to get the love bombing and care packages and dinner invites at the beginning. But I saw through the GB BS and then by the fruits of folks in the congregation and was disappointed a little.
What I didn't equate before today's video was how some members were masking their utter despair and cognitive dissonance with "long-suffering for Jehovah". I liked some of the people I met as they were earnest and honest but something else had them; prisoners in The "Panopticon" of WT and all the lackies and peers that shape their reality.
I hold out hope everyday that one of them will reach out and say "hey I'm thinking about things..." and I'd be right there for them, no questions asked. But it's complicated out there in Churchland and JWs aren't the only ones that try to live up to a congregational or social standard that is hypocritical or in error. Perhaps the evolution of true ExJW voices and faces is to help organize an ethical and honest support network for people waking up or seeking escape.

after the first sentence came me an idea, how jw could "explain" the lockdowns and do one, so that you don't see anyone anymore, so you don't know, if they died, and only are an pc. the government did that, because they knew jw are right, but couldn't say that.

These Individuals are not only unqualified, but also Lack Proper Authority or Humility and Compassion.

Victims are put under a lot of pressure not to go to the police with these horrible situations. This way these perverts keep doing their horrible practices for decades. In my congregation I know of one elder, he stayed an elder till his death. Was never shunned, and victims and their parents were put under enormous pressure, even threatened that they would get Disfellowshipped if they went to the authorities. Horrible and the GB does nothing to stop it.

You can't separate an individual JW from the culture of JW congregations. Bad apples exist in the congregations because of the rot of unbiblical teachings.
In junior high I borrowed a book from a friend, it was about ghost. I went home and then had my parent call an elders wife come over and lecture me about the supernatural. She finally convinced me to let her tear up the book and throw it away. LOLS 🎉

With the Ex elder in Australia, the obvious question should be, if Jesus is in charge, why did he allow him to stay in that role for those 10 years? Where was the holy spirit, which allegedly appointed him?
I asked myself that question. I came to realize pretty quick that Jesus would've responded the same way he did when men were using the temple to exchange money and sell things. This cult isn't blessed and doesn't have God's backing because they're actively harming the sheep.

What I find completely insanely hypocritical is that Caleb has to throw his very friendly looking Spurlock Wizard toy into the garbage, yet meanwhile, the borg pays to use a very worldly song called "Eternal Flame" from the Epica album by Audiomachine in thier 2016 convention, "Jehovah will Treat His Loyal Ones in a Special Way." The Epica album came out in 2012 and the album art on the cover is a VERY obvious VERY demonic looking spirit entity and ALL the song titles in the album are related to magic (which Jehovah hates according to Caleb's mom), witchcraft and spiritism. While granted, it's only an instramental with no lyrics, if an elduh saw someone with this CD they'd 💯 be dragged to the back room and "counseled". In the same spirit as the Caleb and Sophia cartoon, they would be told that even tho there aren't lyrics- the artist chose the album art and song titles directly based on what inspired them to write the music and be told to toss it out. But THEY can use it in a convention?! Just effin wild.
I remember when I was a child, I really wanted a troll doll. I convinced my Grandma to buy me one. Of course it was taken away as soon as I brought it home. I was so sad.
@@joytoyouandme4593 I have a vivid core memory of my me and my sister's grandma sending us each a patriotically decorated teddy bear just before the 4th of July. The one I was sent was wearing a red white and blue vest that my mom was able to easily remove so I got to keep my bear- but my poor precious little sister, the fabric used to construct her bear itself was red white and blue and so our mother threw it in the garbage. I will NEVER forget her hurt and tears that day. I think my mom bought her a different bear/toy but it wasn't the same because it wasn't actually from her grandma. My mom should've taken mine as well to make it fair. Still bothers me to this day. 😔🥺
On the bright side, we both left the cult around the same time and so we've gotten to maintain a happy healthy relationship without ever shunning eachother. For that I'll always be grateful 💖

A week n a half ago a 27 yr old JW brother , husband and father of a 4 yr old girl, committed suicide….. Talking with a non JW friend, I was asked how many suicide case I knew of personally. My answer was 5-6 …. It didn’t occur to me until I was asked, that’s a lot of suicides for a person to know of personally in 30 years. Most people only know of 1-3 in their whole life.

When my daughter was going to school. I had to warn her that her classmates are JWs children of a member from my old congregation as I recognized the last name. So far I was successful to in protecting her but she wasn't interested in learning about them because I filled her in about the cult. Thank God her classmates did not approach her about Religion or her parents about me, etc. Nothing. Which I'm thankful that she went to school without being bothered.

BRO!!!! I just had someone I knew do the exact same thing! My mom (who still is a JW) gave a brother I knew my address, since I was a kid my address and he showed up today for the exact same reason!!! There has to be an order out to try to "reel us back in." It may be a sign that too many young people are jumping ship and the congregations are getting a too long in the tooth. They're keeping databases on everyone.
When a ( worldly) government has to set rules and regulation on how JW should be a loving organization and they follow it to keep their religious status.

For context, the joke about the formation of the government with 144,000 and 'down here we 'cannot do with four.' We had elections here last november. The ruling system in the NL is parlamentarism, which is different than the USA. Four month forward, politicians we not able to agree on the program and the new government did not start yet. There are 4 parties trying to agree on a program but it is proving to very hard to come up to an agreement. Can you imagine putting 144,000 rules together to form a government?

I also have sympathy for the children who get ensnared in this religion through the choices made by their parents. Separating what's real from what's just claimed is difficult enough for a full grown adult, imagine how much more difficult it can be when you're a child who is prevented from ever hearing any opposing ideas. I guess I was never a good and strong JW as I grew up around it, and got baptized at 15 yoa in 1964. Even though I believed in Armageddon coming anyday 😵 and definitely in 1975 😵😵😵
😢 I believed that only God could decide who lived or died. The JW teaching was that only JWs would be saved. I knew a lot of JWs I wouldn't want to save and I knew a lot of non JWs I thought worthy of salvation. Of course, I dared not share my mental ramblings with anyone for fear of the brothers in the back room. 😵Then we were told back then that at a time in the future, I think before Armageddon, that we would only preach a message of damnation door-to-door, etc. I was always afraid how this would go over badly. Definitely a lot of fear living as a JW.

Gotta inculcate those kids from birth. I remember preaching at school during recess. One day I forgot to do my homework and my teacher said: “Guess you spent too much time preparing your sermon, rather than doing your homework 😂.” I was 11 years old, thinking I was bringing salvation and a hope of paradise to the worldly kids. 🥴
I knew Peter and his family very very well and spent a lot of time with Peter and his family. That family acted like their shit didn’t stink and shunned me when I didn’t want to get baptised after I thought they were my second family. How the truth comes out. Karma.

Hello Wally. Thanks to you I am studying the Bible more than I ever did before I began awakening from my brainwashing. Now I’m sorting through my belief systems and bringing more order and light into my own understanding and they involves a lot of study from a broad spectrum or sources including Canons and other Bible translations such as looking into the historical finding of when Jerusalem fell and why Jehovah’s Witnesses accredit 1914 to be the year that Jesus took up his rule in heaven. At this point my personal belief is being that both Jehovah’s Witnesses and history is full of holes and I’m just going to have to take it with a grain of salt, but it doesn’t really matter when Jerusalem fell because Jesus will come when he decides to come, and there’s nothing, I can do that will change or influence that. So I’m not going to beat my head against the wall and begin stockpiling food. Because I think about if I’m going to die, I’m going to die and again there’s nothing I can do to change that because at the end of the day God is the reader of hearts and I could have a really bad heart, but do really good things but I have a bad motive and so it doesn’t really matter what I do or say that will change that fact. So I can only hope i have a good heart.
I do have a big issue with being a Jehovah’s Witness, and that is that I have always since I have been a small child have gifts of prophecy and I also receive knowings and dreams and visions of world events that are about to happen, and even things that are highly eventful such as in my family with close friends. For instance, I prophesied about Covid and everything I had seen and proclaimed had come true. I also saw 911 happen. I also saw the tsunami that occurred in Indonesia on 26 December 2004. I also predicted the share market crash that happened around 2008. OK so saying all that what does that mean? Well I was born into being a Jehovah’s Witness and I was baptized at 14 and I have struggled all my life with the abilities that I have and my belief system. Because I’m told that these gifts are demonic. I left Jehovah’s Witnesses when I was 26 and was out of the truth for nine years and then that time my gifts developed so strongly that people would come and see me from far away to get healing and advice from me. However, I struggled with my indoctrinations for so long that I eventually gave up on my gifts and returned to Jehovah’s Witnesses. Once there, I continued to have in a battle with myself and my abilities, and after being in the religion for a period of nine years I left, and once again begin developing my gifts, and once again became very well known and respected, and was sort out by people from all over the place and adopted by a tribe of indigenous people, and was also coveted by a rival tribe of the indigenous people of New Zealand. However, I left New Zealand to go back to my native country of Germany to learn about my own culture and to learn about’ Whakapapa’ which is a Maori term that means a whole lot more than learning from where we come from. But once in Germany, I, again return to Jehovah’s Witnesses, and during this solar eclipse was suddenly awakened, and alerted to the inconsistencies within the teachings of the watchtower, track society and its governing body, and the shocking revelations of child sexual abuse, and the political connections with the UN and the thing that rocked me so strongly was actually not the aforementioned things but for me, it was the fact that they had shares in the Pfizer vaccination and were promoting and ordering people to obedience to partake in this vaccination. And against my will, and under great duress I was vaccinated, and consequently, almost died. For the past three years, I have been dealing with the repercussions of this vaccination, including myocarditis, heart, attack, paralysis, and cancer. I have survived and healed myself from all of these conditions, and even though I am still not back to the former amazing health that I had. I am on the way. I’m sorry about this long personal message to you. But I want to thank you because I really do enjoy listening to you, and I do not hear any malice in your messages, especially towards Jehovah, because even though I am disillusioned about the governing body and the watchtower track society I still love Jehovah and Jesus Christ, and believe that he will expose all the lies so that people can come to him. So please don’t feel bad that you are called an apostate because I do not believe you are an apostate because in the Bible an apostate is somebody who opposes Jesus Christ. I have never heard you say anything bad about Jesus Christ or about Jehovah God. So thank you and may Jehovah bless you.

I am starting to see that,been to ALOT of churches, Jehovah Witness was my last one, thought it was the best ever,in ways it was in my eyes,but I found the TRUTH finally and got out and never going to another religion,just do good like you said. Pray constantly,read Bible daily and help others if your health and financial resources allow you to.

Yes and not only that the GB (governing body, 5 dudes in NY who make most of the decisions) has a huge stock portfolio which includes stocks in companies that make military equipment and Phizer (which could be why the GB made it mandatory to take the jab)
