Is there a way to apply a curve on fade times? For instance: If I have a fixture with two positions - say one position facing straight out towards the crowd and the other position face down on the stage. Instead of moving/fading between these positions linearly I'd like it to start the movement quickly and then ramp down the speed as it approaches the position down on the stage. Similarly I might want the dimmer of the fixture to follow that same curve during the movement, either by getting brighter as the speed decreases or darker. I've looked through the manual and haven't found anything related to this. It would be nice for timecoded shows where I might want a fixture to make a sweep between stage right and stage left as the music swells to an abrupt stop.
Its possible to set the fade type of any attribute from the default linear to either: Snap at start, Snap at end, Damped, Slow Start or Slow end. This can be set in the cue timing window (double press 's' button, 'view cue', 'view times', in the Type column.
For multiple physicial fixtures, they should be addressed seperately in order to have individual control, if it's a head with multiple elements selecting the group and typing .1@@ would select cell 1, .2@@ for cell 2 etc.
Hello Please which fixture head can I use to patch this led? 54x3w 3in1 It has 7 chanel and 10 Chanel 7CH 1. Total DIM 2. Strobe 3. Micro function 4. Speed 5. Red diming 6. Green diming 7. Blue diming
On the MQ50/70 consoles, pressing the playback legend on the display acts as the 's' button. When you say record the lights as they are.. You could snapshot and then record: Prog window > Snapshot > Record.
that's an really good course, i appreciate all of your videos, you are helping me so much!
Really liked the tutorial :)

Hi, is there a way to update the group in the group window so that that update affects all cues and effects?
Yes - using Group FX you can do this, see this video here: ruclips.net/video/_btpNTTo2go/видео.html
Awesome video!

Hey, on the magicq50 there isn't a S button, is there a way to record the lights as they are without having to add every one of them ?

Hi! Why open always setup tab instead of position?
