      Awesome Im glad I could help. You do NOT need internet for the ktuner to work. Only time you would need internet is if you need to do an update to the ktuner unit.

    So I have a ktunerv2 but it don’t have the code p0420 in the options to erase the code.keep getting check engine light since I stnalled the down pipe you have any idea bro?

      Its possible because doing this disables the sensor. Like its not there.

    I have the k20c2 with the rv6 cat-less downpipe and I disable it and it keeps popping up after a couple of miles

      Weird. All I can suggest is that you try and flash the car again. Maybe u missed a step in the process or did something in the wrong order.

    I installed a catted high flow down pipe mine keeps popping up every 50 miles

      Yeah its sucks when it pops up. Gotta either custom tune the car or just disable the sensor like I show in this video.

    I have a 21 Type S with IMR catted downpipe plus secondary is catted as well, I also have K tuner but just recently the check engine light came on for code p2270 which has to do with the sensor on the cat, now unfortunately the k tuner only comes with stage 1 tune for my car because I was doing my representative that the ECU for this car is a bit complicated so I can't change any parameters in the car as of now so I can't disable O2 sensor

      Dang thats unfortunate. Try using one of those 90° extensions for the O2 sensor. I never tried one but I hear they help keep the engine light away.

      did put a defouler on it but maybe it's just malfunctioning

    Do you have to retune if you alreadly have a tune or can you edit ?

      Technically both. If you want to edit something, you then have to upload that edit to the car which is technically retuning.

    It disables it okay. BUT would the CEL come back on in the future if I have other engine problems? or does it completely remove it and it never comes back on?

      This only disables it for the O2 sensor on the down pipe.
      So YES If another sensor or anything else goes bad with the engine, the CEL light will turn on.

      I just disabled the cel and the code still came on this morning only drove for about 15 minutes after hoping it was a one time thing that corrects itself car still ran great.

      Yeah same steps. Transmission might be different but everything engine related is the same.

      Any windows computer. Apple wont work. U just go to the ktuner website and download the program and follow the steps on the screen.

    When you put you cat less down pipe and front pipe on did you car ideal a little rough when you first started it up before you had to re flash your car

      @@MoisesEmpire Hey buddy update on our car. LOL make sure everything is plunged in that's the reason why my car was idling funny lol. But when we put the PRL catless down pipe on and we got everything figured out we started driving it and that stupid emission light keep popping up on my dash with the Ktuner V2 I kept resetting it on my Ktuner could not figure out what the heck was going on well we did when we got home from a cruise in we thought we disabled everything the first time we did it but when we flashed the car first then disabled it lol ops but we are good know after I watched this video again I went back out like I said hooked it up sure enough the two codes where not checked we have a custom stage 1 tune. So now they are checked saved and uploaded to the ECU. This is our very first time tuning a car by ourselves I never done it before but the way you explained it man 1 click here click here click here boom done so we are golden. So thank you for your video that was so much help.

    I’m on tsp stage one and just installed catless dp and fp with IC and charge pipes would I need to reflash after ? Also had this problem so thanks for vid !

      Yes becuase of the catless dp. That requires a reflash.

      Dont think so. Tuner is not made to clear codes. Its made to make adjustments to the car.

    Maybe you can help me out. I installed a cattless dp today on my accord 2.0 & totally messed up by forgetting to disconnect the neg battery terminal before disconnecting sensors. Now I have 11 CEL all relating to the sensors I disconnected. Could i clear codes with an obd2 scanner?

      Yes that should work. But you might still have a CEL because of the catless down pipe. Unless u have a tuner or I hear that a 90° O2 sensor adapter will also work.

      The downpipe i bought came with a bung for the oem o2 sensor. Do you mean i should weld a different 90 degree bung & take off the one it came with?

      Yes. It will work for any down pipe since your just changing the setting to the sensor and turning it off.

    So I have a catted MaProformace dp, my emissions came on hours later after install, would I just follow these steps for it to go away?

      Yes. These steps will turn off the sensor on the dp so that you dont get any lights on the dash.

      Shouldn't need to do anything for a catted dp but yes the same steps will work for catted dp if its needed.

    Hey, would I need to reset the car to factory before or after installing the DP, or just change the setting and reflash after I have installed the DP? And did the code come back after driving certain miles?

      Just change the setting and reflash after u install the DP. If done correctly then no codes or lights will appear. Im about 10k miles after my install and still no lights on dash.

      @@niharpandit3355 ur welcome! Good luck with the install of the DP. I know the bolts are on there tight but DO NOT use power tools or you will strip and break them. Do it by hand with a breaker bar.

      To be honest im not sure. Where I live we don't have emission inspections so I don't have any experience with that.

    If you dont have prl MAF should it be left at custom? For MAF calibration

      Yes just leave it at custom. If its not the prl RACE MAF then you dont need to tune it so just leave the tuning part alone.

    I tried to disable it but I get an error saying that the unit is locked to an ecu that doesn't match the one you are trying to flash.. using the same laptop I installed everything on.. can you or anyone help me with this? Am I the only one it happened to? T.I.A.

      Did u buy the tuner used? Sounds like the tuner is programmed to another car.

      Yeah u can install tunes on it but if the tuner has ever been used on another car then it wont work on yours unless its been unlocked from said previous car.
      But if it is new and only ever been on your car, then u might wanna try to unlock it from your car and add it again after. Make sure its plugged into the car properly.

    what type of ktuner did you use? v2 or v1.2. I noticed there are some diferences between those. Especially the Disable thingy

      I have the v1.2 they are the same as far as what u can do tuning wise. The good thing about the V2 is that you have the screen which lets u switch tunes without the need for a laptop. You can also monitor things like temperature and boost PSI and if your car is a 6 speed manual then I believe u can setup shift lights so you know when its good to change gears.

    I just got the PRL downpipe installed, and I followed your steps, did everything right all the light went away, then when I left the car for about 20 mins and drove somewhere and as I was reversing all of a sudden all the lights came back on. Do you know why it did that?

      @@ryani5604 then ur gonna have to do the steps again. It must have not loaded to the car correctly because the catless down pipe should only make the check engine light turn on and nothing else. So if you have multiple lights poping up then something didnt go right when u did the tune.

      I have a catless downpipe front pipe I flashed the car clicked the box for catalystic efficiency and within maybe 15 miles of driving the check engine light would come back on I have tried several times to clear this code but at this point i don’t wanna keep re flashing the ecu as I’m sure it’s Probally not good for it what should I do

      If your following all my steps exactly (check the box for the cat before you flash the car) then maybe the check engine light is turning on for a different reason.

      Its barely there. You get most of it during a cold start but then it goes away and is barely noticeable.

    How was your mpgs after the delete? I've been thinking about doing this to my 9th gen SI with gas prices soaring. I would assume they would skyrocket but at the same time do you need a custom tune to adjust for the delete to see actual gains?

      No change in MPG that i could tell. You do not need a tune to see gains but a tune will give u even more gains. A tuning device is more used in this case to get rid of the check engine light like I show in the video.
