Cathy, from one middle aged crafter to another, we should be thanking you for all your great tips and design advice and all the fabulous dies and stamps you've designed over the years!
Oh Cathy, you are just the BEST, pyjamas notwithstanding! No one can capture the ‘real’ in cardmaking like you do, and that is a joy in and of itself. We are so grateful that you have veered into this wonderful craft from scrapbooking (although that is also amazing) to inspire us and make us laugh. Watching your videos is always such a happy experience. ❤️
Cathy, I have been stamping for over 20 years now, and I am so happy to have subscribed to your videos. I love your sense of humor, how low key you are, and how you make me feel everything is going to be fine, no matter what....it's just paper! You've given me fresh perspective; it's like having a friend to stamp with. Thank you!!!
I love you Cathy! Don't change anything! I think thumbs down is rude and I used to be hurt by them. But I realized that often, they don't like the product etc and it's not personal. But I never give them on craft channels and only if some other type of channel is offensive! Those in our generation were taught if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all!! Hugs!
Good morning! Beautiful, soft card. FYI.... I snorted coffee all over my tablet when you said 1% are turds! Nothing better than spending time with a jammie wearing, middle aged crafter, in her craft/dining room. Love it!
She will NEVER throw your card away!!! I like that you don't allow the "turds" brake your flow! Wishing you all the very best! Thank you Debbie for helping our friend saving her boo boo wrist when pressing down on the Misty! Very kind! Blessings Cathy for a wonderful year in 2021! Keep smiling!
I really look forward to your presentations. You approach to cardmaking is like so many of us. Your personality is a hoot. Take care be safe and make more presentations
Beautiful, simple card, Cathy!!! Keep doin' what you're doin"--oops, I forgot. No cliches in the new year. :-D Really though, thanks for bringing this retired senior such joy. I agree it's "joy" therapy when I'm in my craft space, no matter the outcome.
I just adore you & your humor. NO WAY no less cliches in 2021. I use phrases my Grandparents said to me (they were so wise!) and they’re called Elmer-isms. People remember that...and it makes you you. Loving the process is exactly why I make cards. Small works of art to send away to show others you care. AND I enjoy thinking about that person while I’m creating. ❤️ Ty Cathy for your inspiration & the Elmerisms!
I love watching what you can create in your dining/craft room. My only request is that you do not stop making videos!! They are such fun to watch and I love your humor! And I love this card, You give me courage to just start making a card, the fun is in the process! Thanks for all your videos!!
Love to watch everyone of your videos. When I see that you have a new one up... it is brakes on... stop what I am doing and watch. It is the best part of my day. I love it that you are not a fashion statement... just down to earth. Thank you!!!
Funny -- I'd just thinking the same thing, in reverse. So grateful for you and what you've added to our sanity and relaxation and knowledge this year, but mostly just for the humanity and creativity of it all. Very best to us all in the new year, and that Debbie (and her husband) -- so nice. More of that in the world!
It's beautiful! I agree 100% about finding joy in what we do. To me my craft room is like my safe haven, a place to unwind, relax, create, have fun trying techniques, and it helps me keep my sanity from all the crazy things that go around us. Glad you joined this card makers community and share your knowledge and art. Have a great, safe, healthy and creative New Year Cathy! 🥂
Cathy you have excellent card making skills but it is you who makes me tune in. It's 5am and the nurse just woke me up to take my vitals. Recovering from pneumonia. Guess what? You were on and it made my day. I don't have any card making things with me but your shining example of being creative is so catchy. Thanks.
I had considered making my own "Chucky" tool, but found a dry erase eraser that was very inexpensive and got that, instead. It wouldn't work for you with your wrist issues but it's been a great help for me, especially stamping sentiments so I don't over press in some areas and under press in others. I think I'm going to have to start following Kristina Warner's example of making sketches of card ideas and listing the products down so I remember *why* I "needed" that stamp or die. 😆
What a lovely surprise to find you had done a video today. I too spent the afternoon in my pj’s creating some art. Such a coincidence that you have discovered Lavinia Stamps too, I’ve binge watched Jo Rice this week. Her technique is completely different but, like you, she’s a natural artist & wonderful presenter. Her mirror technique with the mushrooms, and the tag she did on Christmas Eve are my favourites. I was interested to see you had a gel plate and brayer, I thought it might prove rather messy, but your controlled use was very helpful. Thank you for helping 2020 be so much brighter. I wish you a happy & healthy New Year.
Dear Cathy, sending Yuletide Blessings to you & yours. You have helped me through these pandemic lockdowns, with your great humour, talent and wisdom, you often motivate me to create when i just want to wallow... did i tell you i think you’re awesome? As always,Thankyou & Cheers! xox.
Hey cathy how are you? I have been watching you for a while, I was living in Mexico now I am back in the states after 7 years, these shows really encouraged me while missing my family. I am in a slump because I have not received my craft supplies, can you imagine not making cards for 4 months?🥴traveling and visiting family and friends before going to my new home, I moved near my only two granddaughters. I NEED to craft! Thanks Zandra here, bye settling into Georgia ❤
Cathy, you're so right, do what brings you joy. I don't like to use glitter either but you've shown a simple but lovely way to add just a smidge and not have a huge mess LOL! Thanks for sharing your journey creating this card, it turned out beautifully and no doubt your bestie will love it!
One percent are turds. :D I laughed out loud at that one. Perfectly accurate! Thanks for all your great videos. They're always fun. My card making space is also a craft slash dining room.
I really enjoy watching you create cards, thank you so much. I’m trying to get started but find it hard to accumulate all needed just to do something and still miss something but I enjoy it so much , thank you , Royce Rodgers LA
You can do it! I know it does seem like there is so much needed. But my hope is to do some videos in the coming year that use less. Although I can't lie: when I started card making in 2017, I spent more on craft supplies than i had spent ANY year as a scrapbooker. Yikes! but I do use the big tools for sure! My friend Kristina Werner does videos on her channel using minimal supplies! Not all the time, but she has many and they might inspire you to realize you don't need all the things! ruclips.net/user/starofmay
Always love watching your videos.....and I do learn....also, you help get me back into the mood to make cards and craft. You always provide a giggle or two...something I need. Thank you for doing what you do!!!! ❤️️
Another beautiful card. I always thought using tweezer was ehhh. But after watching you use them I gave them another try and let me tell you it was a game changer. I learn so much from your cards because you make it look so easy and I like the simplicity of your cards. Plus when you make cards you keep it real and I feel like I can do them too.
Love this sweet card! No matter how difficult my day may be, I always know when I watch your videos I will have a good laugh and feel a whole lot better. And as for those turds...they don’t know what they’re missing! We love you Cathy. You always keep it real, (I’m in my jammies too!).
Love the idea of digging out some old goodies from the stash and just having fun creating. Thanks for sharing your ideas, your “oopsies” and your sense of humor (1%!). You have been s huge help as we all weather this storm (too cliche?) together. Cheers for a healthy and happy 2021!
Hello Cathy, I am always happy when a new Video is online. I love your Crafting. I love your personality. You make me smile. I am a big fan of Winter scenes. Thanks for this beautiful Card. Lovely Greetings from Berlin Germany and I wish you a happy and healthy New Year.
Cathy, I am just beyond excited. I got a gell plate for Christmas along with Acrylic paint to use with it. Plus I just started following Lavinia stamps last week. So to hear you like them as well, I know we will be seeing amazing stuff and ideas. Thank you so much.
Cathy, you just brighten my day, with every video. I take your lessons to heart and I have throughly enjoyed getting to know you this year. 💗💗💗💗 I love your chuckie My hubby lost his Mom at Halloween and she was a crafter as well. I had been telling hubby I wanted him to make me a Chuckie as well. When going through his Mom's stuff he brought me back a fairly large round rock that she had made into a Lady bug. So I was given this with a felt bottom to use when stamping. I love the idea of keeping her memory with me when I craft.
Thank you Cathy, your videos have been a recharging creative force in my Life! It's been a tough year. Watching you has helped me get my mojo back, I'm crafting again!!!
Thank you for sharing the joy of cardmaking. I have gotten into making journals but my first love was cards. I too have supplies I have bought but not used. So now I have the encouragement to go for it in this new year and enjoy the joy of creating. New subbie.
I, like so many people, love love LOVE watching you...your videos always encourage me to create, I've only started creating and making cards since the pandemic and though I'm not great, I love making cards and putting a smile on people's faces! Thank you so much for your inspiration and time that you give us...your humor and positivity bring a smile to my face! God bless and may the New Year bring you much love and happiness❣🤗
Thank YOU, Cathy! This is such an elegant card. I love your videos, you are so calm and, yes, so full of joy. Discovering your Channel has been one of the best things about this awful year, you make me smile and fill me with enthusiasm. Happy New Year!
Cathy I think you are fantastic. I am new to card making. I started during the 2020 shutdown. I luv luv luv watching your videos because you are so down to earth. I love your personality. You are funny and entertaining while teaching us new techniques. I hope you and your family had a VERY Merry Christmas and have a WONDERFUL New Year in 2021. I look forward to seeing and learning from more of your videos. You are a SPECIAL lady, Keep keeping it real.
A sweet, sweet card Cathy!!! I too, got myself a gel press and some brayers and made a bunch of backgrounds that I have in a box for when I'm ready to create a card! I really appreciate your channel and your joy for cardmaking. It is so much therapy for me as it is fun! Happy New Year to you!
I hadn't thought about my gelli plate in a long time. I'm going to make some winter cards so I can't wait to try this out. Your videos are the ones I always watch when the notification pops up. Thank you!
Beautiful card. Cathy, you're my favourite & there's some stiff competition, as you know, but you are a true joy. Thanks for all you do, it's fantastic stuff. You inspire me so much & I may well have stopped cardmaking without you. Hope you're having a happy festive holiday :) x
I always enjoy your videos & your fun personality! Your card is beautiful! I got my gel press last year (2 years ago?! 🤷♀️) & have yet to try it! Thanks for this encouraging “you can do it” video! Also, before you turned the bird over, I thought it was a tiny hand with the index finger pointing up, like “We’re number one!” 😂 ☝️
Cathy, I love your videos (and of course the cards), they entertain and inform at the same time. You are so right when you said, the joy of card making is and should be a joy. If it stops being a joy, then why are we doing it? Thanks again for sharing with us all. ♥️♥️♥️
Well Miss Cathy.... you bring us joy as well! I fail at techniques constantly....but I plug away and put my twist on it. And it always seems to bring me joy! Love ya girl and Happy New Year to you! More creating.... more joy! 💕🙋♀️
Thank you for encouraging me to try new things. You bring a bright light in my world. My 95 yr old mama is dying from a rare cancer. You never know what you mean to me. Thank you.
Oh Cathy...I appreciate you soo much! Being bedbound I "live" in my "jammies! " I adore Jennifer, Kristina and a few others too but find that these RA hands just can't emulate the amazing creations they all post...and that's ok....but I don't find myself as intimidated with your projects. For that and soo much more...I thank you. May 2021 bring you and your family good health, love, laughter and an abundance of joy. Love and hugs from Melbourne, Australia xxx
Watching Tracey do Lavinia got me to also get a soft roller and a Gelli plate this fall but have yet to use them . Thank you , I'm now inspired to give this a whirl.
Cathy, you brighten my day! I love your down-to-earth attitude, your creative “sound effects,” and your card designs. And I must add, that is the most glamorous Chuckie tool I have seen. Woe is me, I only have a dry erase board eraser🤷♀️! I will have to up my game and try to make a more elegant Chuckie tool one of these days. Thank you for your videos, I look forward to watching you in the new year. BTW, this card is one of my favorites💕
What a wonderful channel of fun and creativity you offer us. :-) Your card is awesome and I learned so much from you today about the gel press. I was given one a year ago and only today (thanks!) do I "get" how it works. Lol I'll be back for more help and fun for sure. Thank you so much.
I love that card! I have a die set that is similar to that, but it's all one piece. I never thought about cutting it apart, but I may try that and see what I can make with it. Thanks for your videos! I am always in my pjs when I watch!! Your comfort counts!
Hi Cathy! I loved your winter card! I am going to try it now! I also love how down to earth you are-wearing pj's and no makeup! I also love your sense of humor! Thank you for making me laugh during a hard time...
Hi ..Thankyou for being real..I have issues with depression & anxiety but when I watch you create I feel like I can get back in there & do it...🥰 Happy New Year 2021 May you have good health , happiness & love all year long 👍🇦🇺🥰
Hey Pattie, well I am glad to hear that. I have dealt with anxiety this fall for the first time in my adult life. It has been eye opening and not fun, to be honest. May you have a peaceful new year.
Love you and your videos- you add a chuckle to my mornings. Yes, 2020 was the year of questioning my sanity. Card making and creativity saved me when I added a smile to others with my cards.
I so enjoyed this in-the-moment crafting session! Those colors combined for a gorgeous winter sky, and I love the addition of snow and glitter.Thank you ever so much for the fun crafting lessons that have been a bright spot during this year of uncertainty. Happy day after Christmas and best wishes for a healthy 2021!
I love it when "Cathy Makes A Card" is, well, making a card! So glad to be a subscriber of your channel. Who new I would be connecting with someone I have never physically met? I feel like I have a new "crafty" friend. I love this new pen pal thingy. Pen Pal, did I just date myself? Another great card in the books Cathy!
I know if I'm having a rough day I can just click on your RUclips channel to get my happy back! Love this card and comments. FYI, Wendy Vecchi has a fantastic tool from Ranger called Make Art. A metal platform with magnets to hold your card in place for stenciling or blending etc .Wendy Vecchi MAKE ART Stay-tion in 2 sizes. She is a marvelous card maker and offers tips, like you! Hope it was OK to mention her. Keep on creating and talking to us or yourself to keep me sane, thank you.
Your card ideas are fun and easy. You “feel” like a really good “old friend,” We can hang out with in our pjs and make cards and have a cup of coffee. I always look 👀 forward to your videos! Thank you 🙏 for allowing us into your craft/dining room! Have a terrific, safe....hmm does that go together? New Year’s!
Hi, Lovely video. As a brand new cardmaker I find this so inspiring. You hit home with what you said! JOY! Someone told me why make a card that someone will just throw away? I told them this process was about me learning something new and finding JOY in creating. So when you said maybe they will keep it for 48 hrs. I felt an instant connection! Can't wait to watch more videos on your channel and learn more!
I absolutely love watching your videos/tutorials, they make me smile every single time. I love your attitude to life/craft and all your techniques most things I would never have thought of, and your sense of humour just sets me up for the day many thanks cant wait for the next one. Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy 2021 xx
This card is beautiful and the background is gorgeous. I see from the comments that I am not the only one who snorted my beverage all over my table at your 1% comment as I laughed right out loud. I am also in my pj's wearing no makeup and I just want to say Thank You! Thank you for being a huge bright light in a not so fun year.
I started crafting cards this year and I have learned so much through watching your channel. I wanted to wish you and yours all the best for the coming year. May you keep finding joy in your crafting and in your channel too.
I've had the gelli press, actually two of them that I have yet to use. Also, I have enough stamps and dies to start my own store.....speaking of having stamps you forget about! LOL! My daughter just sent me some of those brushes to try out that I also haven't used yet. So, I'm going to give your background a try and see what happens! It really didn't look all that difficult or intimidating when you showed us the process. Thank you Cathy Z.! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
LOL! I tell people I have 2 hobbies. 1 is buying crafting supplies. The other is *making* things with those supplies. I also bought a gel press after seeing Jennifer make a bunch of amazing backgrounds with it. Now that the craziness of getting all my Christmas cards done is over, I have some time to play with new techniques.
I’ve been following you since the old scrapbook days. You were just a kiddo with short dark hair and your kids were little. You’re a classic. Have enjoyed watching your card transition. 😉 This card is so soft and pretty.
What a beautiful card!! Now I have to dig out my unopened gel plate, if I can find it! Ordered that die set early this morning from Sunny Studio Studio Stamps & they shipped it 1.5 hrs later! I have followed you since your scrapbooking days & you have always been so real in how long something takes, the problems you encounter doing techniques, etc. Keep being you & screw the turds. They are just unhappy with their life anyway!
Love your card, I too have similar dies with the trees and deer and the jell pate and I have never used any of them. Now I am going to, with the help of your video. Thank You
Just found you a couple days ago....I have subscribed.....you have made my day.....love your videos My craft room is mostly the kitchen table and counters. I'm in basement suite of my brothers home Just moved here recently.....it was a good move for me but sad to leave my home of 33 years.....will continue To watch.....thank you
Happy Holidays Cathy! Thank you for a nice, peaceful card therapy session for after a busy few days! I love that you remind us that simple is good and to find what gives us joy! Have a wonderful New Year!
What a fun Christmas gift...another video! I was so disappointed when I went to get my daily fix and no one had posted today. Thanks, Cathy, for your "casual" crafting!
1% are turds... i laughed so hard! I love how real you are Cathy. This video made me feel like i was sitting across from you at your dining room/craft table with a cuppa. This is a positively gorgeous card. Thank you so much for sharing your work and talent with the world.
OH!!!! You got a gelli plate!!!! They. Are. So. Much. Fun. At this point, you're still showing items you're going to use, but I was so excited, I couldn't wait, lol! I will come back and edit my comment at the end. I also have that die set, yay! And omg Lavinia!!!! I'm so geeked out right now. I use my A2 Waffle Flower dies soooooo much. They're life savers. I totally LOL'ed at 'turds' cause it's so true. And sad. I was looking at buying some patterned paper with a bokeh effect, but, after watching this, I believe I can make a similar one myself. I love love love how this turned out. I love how soft and beautiful it is. I hope you have a super new year! xoxo
Love ❤️ seeing you do new crafty stuff too. Beautiful 😍 card. I am glad you finally got a Chuck it tool like I recommended for you to make. Yay 😀 I am glad you finally took my advice and are happy that your hubby made you one. I love mine too cause I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists and I have CRPS 2 in my hands and arms. So the Chuck it tool works amazing.
Great card. Nice to see you using something out of your comfort zone. You won’t have that sagging if you put the double-sided tape closer together and actually cover the back of the panel completely. Or you could just use fun foam or several pieces of cheap card stock which is Cheaper and better for the environment. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you
Yeah, I bought a bunch of inexpensive fun foam to use for popping up panels. It also helps that fun foam is usually thinner than foam tape so there's less problems with sending them through the mail, especially if you have several layers of dimension.
Crafting and jammies, good combination and the way I usually craft! What a great idea use the gel plate to do your background. I just bought one of those and a brayer after watching Lavinia Stamps also. Now I need to start using them. Thank you for the fun videos this year and looking forward to seeing more in 2021! Happy New Year to you, Cathy, and may this be a better year for all of us!
A lovely card, Cathy! I have appreciated your design tips over this past year. Sometimes your eye knows what it likes, but having/knowing the theory behind it inspires one's confidence. Wishing you a peaceful, creative year.
Phenomenal card! You made me want to get a gel plate. It's very hard for me to think that someone is throwing away my card after so much work went into it. I will work on that this year and send out more cards. Thank you 💖 💛TR
This is the first video of yours that I have watched, but I am now a subscriber. You are hilarious and self-deprecating. I love that you craft from your dining room. I have seen your name and heard your name mentioned by Kristina, Jennifer and others. I love your designs. I have many of your products. So glad to get to virtually know the talented person behind the products.
Love your cards , but love watching you too .even if I’m not in the best of moods you lift my spirit just listening to you . Thank you for that. ( lifting my mood lol ) have a safe and happy New Year Kathy .x

YES! I totally agree!

Agree!!
People like the content because you’re AWESOME
I do not understand these people that do a thumbs down. In the words of my era, you are a hoot and very talented.
Thank you!!!
There are always people who think they are better than anyone else.
Love it!
Thanks for watching, Brenda!
Good heavens...I thought she said ‘jerks.’ I would have snorted my perfectly good wine! Great card yet again, Cathy! Love the soft, wintery feel.
Just LOVE your cards and your narrations.
Always makes me smile! Thank you.

My favorite cliches are old-timey ones! lol!
I too am a middle aged crafter and i appreciate you putting yourself out there and being real. I'm grateful for YOU!
I love watching what you can create in your dining/craft room. My only request is that you do not stop making videos!! They are such fun to watch and I love your humor! And I love this card, You give me courage to just start making a card, the fun is in the process!
Thanks for all your videos!!
You are so kind, Karen! I plan to keep it up!
“1% of people who are turds 💩 “ 🤣 oh how I love you.
The card is also stunning. So dang pretty!
Thank you for keeping us me sane. I've dabbled in card making for years but watching your videos makes me want to try to do more! Be well.
Love the gelly plate technique, thanks for demonstrating. Adorable card and I know your friend will appreciate it.
Love to watch everyone of your videos. When I see that you have a new one up... it is brakes on... stop what I am doing and watch. It is the best part of my day. I love it that you are not a fashion statement... just down to earth. Thank you!!!
Love that!

Thank you, Lee! I have really enjoyed making videos, and especially in this strange year!
It's beautiful! I agree 100% about finding joy in what we do. To me my craft room is like my safe haven, a place to unwind, relax, create, have fun trying techniques, and it helps me keep my sanity from all the crazy things that go around us.

Thanks, Carla! You too!
Cathy you have excellent card making skills but it is you who makes me tune in. It's 5am and the nurse just woke me up to take my vitals. Recovering from pneumonia. Guess what? You were on and it made my day. I don't have any card making things with me but your shining example of being creative is so catchy. Thanks.
Hope you feel better soon!
Love your cards, your explanations, and your sense of humor! Thank you!
Glad you like them!
I had considered making my own "Chucky" tool, but found a dry erase eraser that was very inexpensive and got that, instead. It wouldn't work for you with your wrist issues but it's been a great help for me, especially stamping sentiments so I don't over press in some areas and under press in others. Good idea!
OMG I almost dropped all the beads I was sorting when you said ‘turds’. So true. I love the simplicity of your designs. Classic.

I really love your crafty videos and enjoy your humour. It’s so down to earth and natural.

Always love watching your videos.....and I do learn....also, you help get me back into the mood to make cards and craft. You always provide a giggle or two...something I need. Thank you for doing what you do!!!! ❤️️
I'm so glad!
I love your attitude Cathy, you’re so normal in a good way! Xx
Linda, New Zealand, I love the way you work, I love the way you don't have a "craft room", you are so real.❣
Hello down in NZ! You have a beautiful country. Visited in 2006 and LOVED it!
I'm so glad! And I am still in mine, too!
loved that!! almost looked northern lights-ish!! I think your besty will have loved it and it'll be just what she needs to weather this storm!
I really love your channel. Sometimes I'm a little intimidated doing cards, you inspire me and make me feel better!
I love your chuckie
My hubby lost his Mom at Halloween and she was a crafter as well. I had been telling hubby I wanted him to make me a Chuckie as well. When going through his Mom's stuff he brought me back a fairly large round rock that she had made into a Lady bug. So I was given this with a felt bottom to use when stamping. I love the idea of keeping her memory with me when I craft.
I love that. And am sorry for his loss.
New subbie.
Thank you for subbing!!!
You are so welcome!
Thank YOU, Cathy! This is such an elegant card. I love your videos, you are so calm and, yes, so full of joy. Discovering your Channel has been one of the best things about this awful year, you make me smile and fill me with enthusiasm. Happy New Year!
Thank you so much!
Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful card. Cathy, you're my favourite & there's some stiff competition, as you know, but you are a true joy. Thanks for all you do, it's fantastic stuff. You inspire me so much & I may well have stopped cardmaking without you. Hope you're having a happy festive holiday :) x
Wow, thank you!
Lol! Now I will think "We're number one!) every time I see it!
Cathy, I love your videos (and of course the cards), they entertain and inform at the same time. You are so right when you said, the joy of card making is and should be a joy. If it stops being a joy, then why are we doing it? Thanks again for sharing with us all. ♥️♥️♥️
I watched the entire video and realized how much I love watching you! You give some kind of warmth. Thank you ❄️❄️❄️
Wow, thank you!
Well Miss Cathy.... you bring us joy as well! I fail at techniques constantly....but I plug away and put my twist on it. And it always seems to bring me joy! Love ya girl and Happy New Year to you! More creating.... more joy! 💕🙋♀️
Thanks, Terri!
Thank you for encouraging me to try new things. You bring a bright light in my world. My 95 yr old mama is dying from a rare cancer. You never know what you mean to me. Thank you.
Oh Donna, I'm so sorry to hear that. Sending you love during a difficult time.
That is nice for me to hear because I do want people to be able to replicate these ideas. Sending you light and love!
It's a gorgeous thing!
I love it when you "get wild"!!! Great video. Love your card. You make everything look easy and thanks for showing these techniques!!
I love the simplicity of this beautiful winter scene! Your videos and humor always bring a smile and a laugh!😉
I'm so glad!
Pretty card! I have a similar die set, not a gel press, but still am inspired to see if I can recreate the basic idea. Thank you!
I just love you Cathy. You're my inspiration! Keep your videos coming, I love watching you create!!!
I remember pen pals too!
I LOVE that you're in your pajamas. I love your videos. Thank you for creating and sharing with us.
😊 thank you
Your card ideas are fun and easy.
Thank you so much!
Thank you!
Love your videos and the elegance that you bring to your designs.💕
Karen, I have definitely been around the crafty realm for a while! lol! I have so enjoyed this transition. SO very much.
Enjoy and yes, screw the turds! Let's have fun!
Oh my heck, how beautiful! I thought the sky was o-mazin just with the grey and the mist of water, but the blue and purple are sublime. :)
Thank you so much!
Love your card, I too have similar dies with the trees and deer and the jell pate and I have never used any of them. Now I am going to, with the help of your video. Thank You
Cathy I love your creativity, but your personality is really what brings me back. You are a hoot! 🙂
Just found you a couple days ago....I have subscribed.....you have made my day.....love your videos
My craft room is mostly the kitchen table and counters. I'm in basement suite of my brothers home
Just moved here recently.....it was a good move for me but sad to leave my home of 33 years.....will continue
To watch.....thank you
Welcome, Barbara! Glad you found me!
It's okay to craft without makeup & in your pajamas! I do the same thing!!
Love it all. My son made me three different size Chuckies. But I am calling them Adrian’s after him. Can’t wait to use them this week.
What did he use for that bottom layer? Is it some kind of felt?
@@Tam-te5nh he used felt that had adhesive on it. It was a Home Depot. It came in squares near furniture coaster supplies
It's like a furniture slider thingie? Maybe?
They are called furniture felt pads on Home Depot’s website. They have circle pads and square pads
@@LizHallLiz thank you!!!
Happy Holidays Cathy! Thank you for a nice, peaceful card therapy session for after a busy few days! I love that you remind us that simple is good and to find what gives us joy! Have a wonderful New Year!
Love this! Loved the video too. As a sister ‘middle age’ crafter I related on SO many levels! Thanks for sharing!
So glad!
What a fun Christmas gift...another video! I was so disappointed when I went to get my daily fix and no one had posted today. Thanks, Cathy, for your "casual" crafting!
Happy holidays!
1% are turds... i laughed so hard! I love how real you are Cathy. This video made me feel like i was sitting across from you at your dining room/craft table with a cuppa. This is a positively gorgeous card. Thank you so much for sharing your work and talent with the world.
Thanks for watching, Erin!
You, your cards and especially your videos are a real treasure. Wis we could hang out IRL. Be well, be safe and keep making. 💕👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💕
Thank you so much!
I hope you have a super new year! xoxo
Yes you can!
I love it!
Great card. Nice to see you using something out of your comfort zone. You won’t have that sagging if you put the double-sided tape closer together and actually cover the back of the panel completely. Or you could just use fun foam or several pieces of cheap card stock which is Cheaper and better for the environment. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you
Thanks for the tip!
Yeah, I bought a bunch of inexpensive fun foam to use for popping up panels. It also helps that fun foam is usually thinner than foam tape so there's less problems with sending them through the mail, especially if you have several layers of dimension.
I agree wholeheartedly... BLOCK the Turds!!!
Thanks so much! 😊
Thank you 💖
💛TR
This is the first video of yours that I have watched, but I am now a subscriber. You are hilarious and self-deprecating. I love that you craft from your dining room. I have seen your name and heard your name mentioned by Kristina, Jennifer and others. I love your designs. I have many of your products. So glad to get to virtually know the talented person behind the products.
I’d love to see more cards using the gelli plate! I really enjoy your videos. You’re sweet, relatable and funny! You are such a joy ❤️
Definitely going to try to do more. It's a cool tool!
Love your cards , but love watching you too .even if I’m not in the best of moods you lift my spirit just listening to you . Thank you for that. ( lifting my mood lol ) have a safe and happy New Year Kathy .x
Wow, thank you
