Great card, not sure where I saw it, but if you line the lid of a box with silver foil and put your card to be embossed inside and then use your heat tool, it not only melts the powder faster because the foil reflects the heat, but it also reduces the warping of the card, it really works (I just hold the card down with my pokey tool) 🥳🥳
That card is absolutely lovely, Cathy, and could be used for so many different occasions. From a “little old lady crafter” to a “middle aged crafter,” you brighten my day!
Thank you for inviting me into your craft/dining room. My granddaughter and I make cards at my kitchen table and enjoy the cozy, familiar setting located so near the refrigerator!! You always make me smile, often make me laugh, and never fail to inspire me. This card is incredibly beautiful in it's simplicity. Kudos!
Cathy I just love watching you at work. Your humility touches me. Make no mistake, your cards are beautiful. But your personality is adds so much. Btw, Gina is a lovely and smart lady. Love her too.
You remind me of myself and how I talk to myself as I create. Only difference is, no one is listening to me! LOL I agree, I'm loving you, too!! This is one of my favorites of yours, seriously...and I love most of what you create. Thanks for sharing your process!!
i absolutely love that you share your thought process and show and explain why you make your choices. i find it so much more helpful than just a fully edited where all the decisions are already made.
I love this card. It never ceases to amaze me how you can just use a few elements and have it look like a million bucks. (Actually, the more I watch, the less amazed I am, because I know that you're going to do wonderful things.) That envelope was spot on. Thanks for sharing!
Hello from your neighbor a little South...South Sioux City, NE that is! I just want to thank you for all the videos you share. You are so real and I find that so refreshing. I smile alot every time I watch one of your videos. You are hilarious! Thanks for sharing your humor, your talent and your craft/dining room with us!
Beautiful card! I enjoy the "New Stamps, Now What" , it's like being in the craft room with a friend and talking through the creative process. Thank you.
Firstly, your nails are on point! Love the color. The card is just gorgeous and I love the soft clean and simple look - just perfect. And if you're not having fun crafting, you need to find something else to be doing, because it should always be FUN!
So cute. I am always amazed after years of card making how much fun it still is and still get a massive kick from stamping a super cute or new image. It never gets old.
Not sure how I missed this at the time you published it, but glad it popped up now! Such a soft, calm, delicate card. Also a Bob Ross fan- so soothing and restful.
I don’t paint either. Haha ‘screwed the pooch’. I love your sense of humor. I truly appreciate this series because I can see and hear your thought and design process. The design is what takes the most time.
The question is: how are YOU so much fun, Cathy? Seriously, this was so uplifting and, as usual, the result was a gorgeous card. Stunning in its simplicity, brilliant in its blending, perfect in its placement, need I go on? LOL Thank you for another wonderful instalment of NCNW ❤️
@@czdesign Even if you DID craft, drink wine and film it...you don’t actually HAVE to post it you know...but the very funny footage will always be there. Or do a Zoom conference wine crafting session with ‘the girls’ one weekend when you’re all free. Now THAT would be funny. I wouldn’t dare be posting that footage LOL 🥂🍾🤣🍷🤪🎉🍹
I taught myself painting with Bob!! So much so my darling husband made me a studio in garden! Just came across your video....have subscribed and love your chatty personality! Your trees look great loved your sky.hugs from an oldie crafter 74!!👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍😍😍😍😍💕💕💕❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
Love this! Bob Ross is the patron saint of painted forests. He would have dragged a long black tree trunk down one side as we watched in horror. Then he would have scratched in a happy little cabin. Like you, he makes things look easy. And makes you believe that you, too, can do it. Thanks for the inspiration!
Such a wonderful card and certainly plays up the versatility of tree stamps! Could be used so many ways. I enjoy your presentation and humor and how you walk us through the process in your own style. Thanks for another great video!
Dear Cathy, I have recently discovered my passion for card making and darn I have a passion for your channel too, because you are totally (c)awe(rd)some! Thank you!
I use a toothbrush from the hospital 😆 They gave me a few when my husband was there for a massive heart attack. It’s one of the necessities you don’t have when you’re gone in an emergency. Actually, they gave me 2 and I asked for a couple more. Interesting, they actually have slots cut into the handle, so I’m able to hang them up. Lord, the things we do and use in the name of crafting! Bawhaha! Lovely card! ❤️
Love that you show using things that you have an have yet to use. This year 2020 my goal was to make sure that all my stuff in my wish/impulse collection that are still virgins.
I have one Sequoia tree stamp, just about the size of your stamp. (Got it in honor of granddaughter Sequoia.) Now I am inspired to CASE your card. I think since you've already done the hard part, the layout, the colors, etc., I might be able to craft long enough to do one quick card before my back sends me back to bed. Oh, I hope so! I think it's beautiful! A masterpiece! Thank you for inspiring me and making me smile! Hugz!
Cathy ... when you said, "I'm loving myself!" I got a huge smile on my face. I sometimes feel the exact same way when I am done crafting a card. It's more that I am so thankful, and it seems to be your intent as well. Gorgeous simple card. By the way, I FINALLY figured out who you remind me of ... the beautiful Sarah Paulson! Please keep bringing joy to this community, we need you!!! Blessed crafting. 😊
I’m so loving this card! Everything about it is perfect!!! I think you have talked me into purchasing another stamp set😉😊 I also love “happy trees” ever since first watching Bob Ross, and still watch his videos! You and Bob make me smile 💖
Simple stunning, there was me thinking,What are you doing Cathy . Then you pulled off the mask magic and wow I could totally see where you were going .your so clever . Thank ’ you for sharing your creation . X
Loved Bob Ross. I have an oil painting I did from one of his kits way back in mid 90s. I was so pleased with myself, that I even had it framed! Lovin’ your card. 😊❤️🇨🇦
Who doesn't love Bob Ross??? His happy little trees are a vivid part of my childhood. In all seriousness, your trees look just right with the background you made. Loving it
I remember Bob Ross. In fact, I started painting before I started stamping. Bob Ross retired in Maitland, Florida back in the 80's and bought my coworkers house just around the corner from our workplace. I never got to meet him though - so sad he died relatively young from doing what he loved. The brush cleaner he used caused brain cancer. He was a wonderful painter and loved animals.
Hi Cathy... your joy is infectious! The card is so pretty... you can almost hear the quiet peacefulness of the snowy forest (does that make sense🤔). Thanks for sharing.
Whenever I need a little lift, which is quite often lately, I watch one of your videos. You are good for my soul! I love, love, love this card, and I love, love, love your spirit!
Your right Cathy it was a very peaceful looking card. I think it would even be a nice Christmas card. So enjoy watching all your videos that you post. Thank you for making simple cards, they are just as impressive as those more elaborate cards out there.
It's such a CUTE card. You know what I'm sayin? Seriously, it's beautiful. This same design would be a really elegant sympathy card and you could use the other sentiment in the set. 👍😊

Oh thank you! And isn't it polish killer? It's called Nailfie Time from Olive & June! I think i added a link above the supplies because people ask about the colors!
Beautiful card! I learned something new which is always appreciated. I always wondered how to make trees look like they were in the background. Thanks Cathy 💜
