You are WONDERFUL! When you said you were mesmerized by your own skill and then talked about your freakishly long arms, I thought I was going to lose it. Oh Laura, thank you for commenting today… I just had a comment of someone saying, "This was so simple… nothing new here" or something like that and I thought, "I am SO glad you took the time from your busy day to share that with me. No, really… thank you so much." Most people are awesome, like you, and the 99%. Some folks? We place them into different categories.
Someday, I would love to have a drink with the two of you...you both have such a fun outlook on life, which I am appreciating in the midst of being in school leadership during a pandemic. Quote is from "This is Spinal Tap"! One of my favorite movies! In fact, I've quoted that movie so many times and I'm still surprised at how many people haven't seen it. Love your videos and your sense of humor..."you bring it to 11". :)
I can’t say enough things about why I LOVE this series and you. So appreciate your honestly and humour approach to things we all deal with. The shiny pretty things we just HAVE TO have then... in the cupboard or drawer until forever. These make me think, yup i can do this! Thanks so much CZ!

It has been lonely crafting by myself during this pandemic but I turn on your long videos and follow along as I am crafting and it has brightened my day. Thanks so much, keep the videos coming. The longer the better!
You crack me up :) I love that background stamp. Thank you so much for taking the time to do these videos. I learn so much from you. I often buy something pretty and then say, "now what?". When you started doing these videos, it made me so happy! Coming up with ideas is the hardest part for me. Watching this, I realize it's hard because I make it hard, trying to be all fancy and stuff. LOL), but the suspense of waiting to watch it was rewarded with a helpful video that brought me a ton of happiness (and giggles!) this afternoon. *Thank you,* for sharing your polish info (sidenote: I found out online via swatches that I already pretty much have that color and it happens to be one I adore and wear often..... I guess I'm a creature of habit to have seen the pink on your nails and gone "NEED THAT!" lol) And please, don't stop chatting like you do on these live videos - it makes it all the more fun to watch (and to keep paying attention to!!!!)
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I own a few background stamps and haven't done much with them. Thanks for giving me ideas. Cathy, I was reading through some of the comments left and saw your reply to one that someone said this was nothing new. I want to thank you for doing this series. Yes, this was a simple card but I loved the way you showed your entire thinking process, that is what made the video so "real". My only comment would be to ask if there is a way you could up the volume a bit. I had my volume completely up but still struggled to hear some of your comments. I love your humor and don't want to miss any of it. It's like you are my "head" voice talking to me only in a but more positive way. : ) Please keep these videos coming.
Why thank you, Karen! And yes… I am trying to figure out this audio thing. I, too, have to turn it up. I have this lapel mic and I'm honestly confounded by it! I promise it will get better! I really am kind of fumbling my way through all of the tech stuff. Maybe it needs to be closer to my mouth? Are you watching on a computer? or a phone? And do you use headphones? Or no? That might help me. When I play this back in headphones, it's too quiet. So something is off that I need to fix.
@@czdesign I watch on my computer and the volume was ok. Maybe you need one of those "Broadway" mics that sit in your hair and come around the front of your face. :)
@@doggiegrammie But then I'd have to break into song and dance! Would that be good? Lol! I am going to research this. I feel like there is a better option but possibly, I do not have the level input setting loud enough!

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know that you have one more loyal subbie. With love from the Southern California desert, MK. ❤☀️🌵
You are a real hoot!! Got lots of good tips here....like the use of the purple tape and especially how you cut your little die opening to line up the die to cut out your sentiment....that was fab!! The card is beautiful, for me, I would have liked to see both of those card stocks...so I would have put a rectangle or banner of the lime paper under the yellow sentiment. That’s just me 🙂.
@@czdesign I have speakers attached to my computer and I have no problem hearing at all, until my son comes walking in and starts dispensing ice into his glass as if he can't see that I'm trying to watch a video. Never fails though. 😄 My volume is not turned all the way up either.
@@czdesign, that might be very entertaining!! LOL
Fabulous! I’m a big fan of buying stuff because Jennifer or Laura or Kristina or Cathy made something cool. By the time I get it, I’ve completely forgotten what the inspiration was 😂 I’m enjoying your process videos!
I have been there! lol!
Catching up today Cathy awesome 👍thought for a minute curveball, going to be a square card!great idea to stamp and blend on a bigger piece before cutting. I could see the waste as rainbow strips a la Laura. Really enjoying the circle view. 👋🇬🇧💕
"This is Spinal Tap": Hubbins: It's such a fine line between stupid and clever
I enjoy watching how you create and the process that happens behind the scene!
good one! best movie ever
I think the movie is This is Spinal Tap....very clever quote none the less. I love your videos and cards so much. I smile the entire time I watch. I noticed you and Gina K say "Okay" the same way when your crafting....hahahaha!!!
You know it is Spinal Tap!
You nailed this topic for me !!
Love your videos. Thank you.
You crack me up......(it’s like the voice in my head, only smarter!!😜)......beauty card, lots of fun video!! ♥️
Cindy M exactly 😂

I ❤️the contrast with the black
It's nice to know that I am not only one that goes now what do I do with it!!! Thanks for sharing!!
Spinal Tap!! 'This goes to 11'. I am with u on the 'bricks'. It was a true 'Eureka' when I discovered The MISTI. We are all beginners at some point, but these great tools sure makes that beginner period much shorter.🌞💜
Well said!
Thank you so much Cathy, I really really enjoyed watching you create this card, and he black and white Happy Birthday was certainly the best one of the two. Thank you so much I really really love 💕 that embossing resist it makes such an impact. Stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Love it and thanks for sharing your views on 6x6 background stamps.
You are so welcome!
Yes, I am inspired. I have been overthinking large stamps. Embossing resist...
You are so funny girl and oh so talented! What a really beautiful background. Distress oxides are so beautiful and you did masterful blending. TFS. 🤓❤️
Thank you so much!
Cathy, thank you for this tutorial. Creative genius..... I love watching your design process. Definitely the black sentiment.
Beautiful card Cathy! I definitely like the black the best, it stands out more, and the other color kinda got lost in there. Thank you so much for sharing.
You nailed it. I am loving your videos.

Love your humour and your card. Thanks
Thanks so much!
Love the swifter cloth hack on the misti!! Thanks.
So glad!
You are the cutest thing since... since... well, since something that is really, REALLY cute! I love hearing you talk your way through why through what you're doing and it as if you can hear me go, "wait!! What??", and you explain just what I needed to re-hear. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know that you have one more loyal subbie. With love from the Southern California desert, MK. ❤☀️🌵
Oh thank you!
TYFS! ❤️🦋💜
Thanks for watching, Cindy!
Oh Cathy, that background stamp is gorgeous, and your card with the black happy birthday looks AMAZING!!! I would be very happy if I receive a card like that for my birthday next week! Thanks for sharing your talent.
Love your clean and simple design. Sometimes I forget that simple is so much fun!
