For my whole life up until a little while ago I genuinely thought that I couldn't sing. Then I realized that I wasn't actually using my whole voice. I was kinda just singing super quiet and not letting my whole voice out. Then I tried singing a little louder, and I was *amazed* by what happened. I was actually able to sing a song without sounding awful... XD lol

I actually love the way my singing voice sounds, I'm just watching because I could always improve
got the courage to finally sing a whole song and record it and thought it sounded okay but playing it.. i sounded like a dying goat... it hurts cause i was so excited beforehand and also did vocal warm ups.. and wanted someday to send it to my friends..
hi. i thought i was bad too until i bought a real microphone with a screen filter and it helped so much. your voice wont sound its best if its recorded on a phone
@@yowillcarroll Maybe the person above already uses a good microphone. I do, and I have the same experience every time I record something. Sounding horrible is unfortunately not always an easy fix.

Wow, I didn’t want to believe it, I’ve seen so many tutorials in RUclips and they are crap. However I recorded myself at least 4 times before your exercise and it didn’t sound good and after this exercise the difference was like day and night! Omg thank you! Try starting out just strumming on the chord changes and singing, until really comfortable with that. then gradually start adding more and more strums while singing.

I use to be an incredible singer, I could sing really high and low, I won competitions singing and my vocal teacher described my voice as the colour 'gold'. But then I just stopped singing one day out of shyness and I literally didn't even sing for about 2/3 years. now i can't sing at all, I can't sing even the most basic songs and singing has become painful. Will i ever get my voice back? it was the only thing I was ever talented at and it breaks my heart losing it. I'm 16 now, I was 12 when i quit singing ( after doing it for years) :( someone please help me or give me some advice, my parents won't let me start singing lessons again, I've been trying to retrain on my own but its not working

It's so common to dislike the sound of your own voice on a recording, try not to be too hard on yourself. Keep practicing :)
When you're born you're born with different voices some of them is good some of them can't be but if you take care of your voice your voice will sound good as other singer
