Find Your Vocal Range In 1 Minute.m4v

- Use this to find your vocal range - it only takes 1 minute.
If you sing solo you need to know your range so that you can put songs into keys that suit your voice best.
If you sing in a choir, you need to know your range to find the right section of the choir for you e.g. soprano, alto etc. If you practice singing your vocal range may increase over time.
Choir Section vocal ranges are shown in a table at the end of the video so you can see where your vocal range fits in. - Видеоклипы

@@user-hr8es7gx8cYou can search it up in google or youtube, plenty of resources. I am a beginner as well but has been hobby singing for 5 years now(I suck but atleast I can match some pitch, tone, rhythm, and imitate timbre with ofcourse manipulation of the voice which is kinda like voice acting(?)).
I’m at a2
And a5, so I’m not sure if I. Supposed to be alto or tenor tbh, I think that tenors could sing lower than me seeing as last year my teacher said I was alto, but who knows. My voice has definitely gone deeper, but I don’t know if it’s changed enough to do that, or I’m singing the wrong note, but maybe.
Bad news, didn’t find my key. Good news, I started a local singing group with my neighbors dogs.

I went higher on the piano by myself, and I have a vocal coach as well that helps me with whistle tones, but anyone can learn them with enough practice :)
Ay same here!
I have the widest natural range in every vocal register, so my lowest notes and my highest notes aren’t in this video - I can imitate birds and piano / keyboard / flute sounds in head voice and in mixed voice, as my head voice goes from C6 to C8 or higher, and my mixed voice can be stretched up to A6 or C7 sometimes when imitating guitar sounds with belting technique, while my chest voice goes from A0 with subharmonic technique to A5 with upper belting technique and around A1 or G1 with humming technique, having the highest voice ever (sopranino with coloratura subtype) with the whitest / lightest / brightest tone and most tonal nuances as well as extreme agility and flexibility, plus I also use my whistle register sometimes, which goes from the fourth octave or lower to A10 or to the eleventh octave when it works, and I also do overtone singing and metal growling / screaming etc and many types of subharmonic bass sounds and robotic voices and inward bass sounds etc, as I recently started learning beatboxing sounds, and I can even make most of the drumming sounds and the water bottle sounds, so I can cover a wide range of sounds and tones with my voice, without using instruments!
Now I am trying to practice singing the piano melody from the techno song The D Trance Anthem (Hardline Remix) in head voice, but I don’t know if I’m getting it right, and I have the feeling that I’m going one octave higher, as I am singing it by ear, because I don’t know the exact notes, though I feel like they are around B5 / C6 or so - does anyone know the exact notes (16 piano notes) that are in the main piano melody from that song in the same order aka the piano pattern?
It’s the truth, and, I am the sopranino, which is higher than highsopranos’ vocal height, as my voice is naturally higher than the highest known singers’ voices, including the opera singer Dessay and the singer from Sylver which are highsopranos and the 2nd Nightwish singer and the first Skáld singer which are mediumsopranos that are close to highsopranos, and, when singing along with their voices in the background, their tones match my tone the most, but my vocal height is significantly higher, and my voice completely covers their voice when belting at full intensity, so that’s how I realized that my voice type is actually higher than that of a soprano or highsoprano - I can naturally belt the fifth octave in chest voice without effort, as my voice is unusually high and powerful yet weightless, so my higher notes are always smooth and melodic, and, when singing in head voice, it doesn’t feel like there’s a limit, so it feels like I could sing higher than C8 if I could hold my breath longer and if I had no hoarseness, and a few days ago I sang a head voice note that was so high, that I felt an odd sensation on the left side of my forehead and then I got dizzy, and sometimes I feel and hear an odd snapping sound or click in my throat when singing the head voice notes, so, I don’t know if it’s good for the vocal cords to sing that high, but I am singing those stratospheric notes, anyway, because it’s not like I feel any true discomfort or soreness when singing them, as they come out naturally, but, the higher the notes, the more air they take to sing and sustain, and, it’s also the same with lower notes, so, the lower the note, the more air it takes to sing and sustain, and, I aways could reach extremely low notes, as my chest voice has the widest natural range, so I can hum the notes, and I can go one octave lower when using the subharmonic vocal technique, which is the opposite of the upper belting technique!
@FrozenMermaid666 I did not ask what your voice type was. You're claiming that you're a female "whatever soprano" who can do subharmonies low as a **low bass MALE** singer, and mix belt high as C7, which is literally impossible, highest mix belt was F#6 which already sounds so heady, and you say that your "Head voice" expands upwards of 8th octave??? The highest head voice in history was D7/E7, and ANYTHING beyond that will switch into a whistle tone. How tf you calim you can do an A10 whistle when human ear can only hear up to E♭10...??? You say you can also do 11th octave whistle which IMPOSSIBLE..??? ***IF*** you **REALLY** can do it, then prove it. Show us your "A0 subharmony," "C7 belt," "C8 Head Voice," and your "*11th octave whistle*". Or keep staying delusional and keep lying... LMAO 🤣🤣
Low Note: F3
High Note F5
A nice package. I'll take it. I'm in a Soprano role right now that's stretching my range but this test proves that I really am a Mezzo or even an Alto.
Same!
Range and voice type are two completely different things, voice type being determined by how high or how low the voice itself is, not by range, nor by tone color, as there can be higher voices with very dark tones and lower voices with very light tones etc, and, the higher the voice is, the louder it is and the more powerful it is, so the higher voices naturally cover the lower voices when singing in the same vocal register at the same intensity and using the same vocal technique, and, the higher the voice is, the bigger it is - most ppl can reach about the same notes in full voice if they strain a lot, so most can go from around D2 or C2 to E6 or F6 in modal voice, but it doesn’t sound good on higher notes most of the times, unless it’s a naturally higher voice with lighter tone!
By the way, I have the widest natural range in every vocal register, so my lowest notes and my highest notes aren’t in this video - I can imitate birds and piano / keyboard / flute sounds in head voice and in mixed voice, as my head voice goes from C6 to C8 or higher, and my mixed voice can be stretched up to A6 or C7 sometimes when imitating guitar sounds with belting technique, while my chest voice goes from A0 with subharmonic technique to A5 with upper belting technique and around A1 or G1 with humming technique, having the highest voice ever (sopranino with coloratura subtype) with the whitest / lightest / brightest tone and most tonal nuances as well as extreme agility and flexibility, plus I also use my whistle register sometimes, which goes from the fourth octave or lower to A10 or to the eleventh octave when it works, and I also do overtone singing and metal growling / screaming etc and many types of subharmonic bass sounds and robotic voices and inward bass sounds etc, as I recently started learning beatboxing sounds, and I can even make most of the drumming sounds and the water bottle sounds, so I can cover a wide range of sounds and tones with my voice, without using instruments!
@@FrozenMermaid666 it’s because you have a good technique, I’m impressed 🩷
Re my recorded notes, I used a certain coloratura technique for my highest head voice notes that go from C6 or D6 to A7 or B7 in my last two vocal samples, and, for my lowest recorded chest voice notes I used subharmonic technique, and then I sang a B1 with humming technique in one vocal sample - I also reached a lower 1st octave chest note around E1 with a different vocal technique in one of the other vocal samples!
