When you purchase that car, you’ll probably never see anyone else with one like it, that year, that set up/color, very distinct, only one at the car show like it wherever you go👍👍👍
Great video and the exhaust note sounds awesom! Nice to see the owner come out and "yell" at you guys to help you get it started, LOL. Looking forward to Part 2 of the video! Have a great day Tony 👍
Thank you! Yeah, him and his wife had the only exhaust shop in town for many years. He did the exhaust on my black 78 Grand Marquis, Grey 86 F150, Green 68 XL, and countless other vehicles for all of us over the years.
You would love the 59 Galaxie 2 dr hardtop I built in 1966..powder blue and white paint..352" with a three speed with overdrive..but wait a sec..while taking JC auto shop engine rebuilding class I scored an R code 427" out of a drag car..sleeved one cylinder..found two used rods and Pistons and stuck it in the car..first hard pull scattered the the tranny. A trip to another junk yard yielded a four speed with all racing parts..plus a 9" posi. Took the five spokes off and replaced them with stock wheels and full hubcaps..left the cheater slicks KS and column linkage dangling off the column..threw a jacket over it and lied..LOL. A yellow 56 Chevy gasser with a 327" and four speed got left in the dust when I hit fourth gear..lied a little about what was under the hood. 30 years later ran into the builder of that Chevy and he remembered..said his brother was driving the car. Santa Rosa Calif was hot rod heaven back in the day..shades of American Graffitti...
He is selling it to my buddy, Jeff, who was there, so they've already agreed on a price. Jeff said he has no plans to sell it. We just have to move it to his place in a couple weeks.
He bought this one that way. The previous owner but it in there. I really don't know what was done, but it's in there and running and driving. So, yes, it can be done.
What a treasure. I'm glad its headed to a good home. Thanks Tony
Thanks, buddy! It will be taken care of and treasured for sure.

That's for sure! It's one of my high school classmates that's buying it.
I do believe that's the first and only rodded up '59 Ford I've ever seen. Definitely a unique piece for sure.
The builder was and still is a very unique gear head.

Looks like a late 80’s or early 90’s build. That’s when that tweed interior was all the rave. Nice car!
They did say it was the early 90s.
Nice barn find!
Thanks. We've actually known the car all these years, though. Small town and the owner and his wife ran a repair and exhaust shop for many years.

We've known about it for years. His wife bought the car in 1973.

I'm about to put a 460 in a 59 ford. Just wondering will it fit in there and what do I have to do to make it fit ?

It's an awesome car I have the exact same tunnel ram on mine. Thanks for sharing the video I'm glad to know I'm not alone..lol
