You call this a fair race? Looks more like a paid promotion of the Himalayan. All things i.e. rider weight, skills being equal and both bikes being in similar mechanical condition, I think the Himalayan will run the domi close, but won't be able to outrun it.
Ofcourse man, all of these are just paid promos. Plus, you see, Royal Enfield doesn't really care about the customers. It cares about its brand image more. I am still waiting for news on Tubeless spokes from them. Else, it's gonna be the dominar for me.

On a personal note, I'd recommend you wait for the new NS 400 to be launched, then take a test ride of Triumph Speed 400, new Himalayan, NS 400 and the dominar. Should give you a good perspective about what suits your needs the best. All the best!

Buying a bike that costs 4L and then having to spend 40k on the rims is just a deal breaker to me. As for the other bike, I'd buy a 2nd hand dominar for about 1.2L, wait for 2 years until the gaslighting on the Himi settles down and then buy it. By then, RE should've fixed most of their issues.
Couldn't believe an offroading bike made by a company which has expertise in making long stroke slow speed bike engines defeating other sports street bikes so easily. My next bike surely gonna be the allrounder Made in India RE 450.
Himalayan is not offroading bike. It's a adventure tourer and so is adv390. None of the bike there is sports, ninja 400 or Aprilia rs 457 may count for that class
Pity that Himalayan is being thrashed in drag races, while its intended use is to take the less trodden paths. Wrong vehicle put to wrong use. Similar folks compare the drag times of Jimny and Thar on highways, whereas those machines are made solely for conquering places that don't have roads.
Himalayan will have a lot of vibration in the "generic cruise" range (90 to 110). Butter smooth at 80 and 130+ KTM and dominar will have roughly the same range of vibes So, I'd say, 390 Dominar Himalayan IF you compare it at the generic cruise range If you're comparing it at anything else, Himalayan wins. But, it's a single cylinder motorcycle, no matter what, there will be vibes somewhere or the other. Most important factor among the three compared here is which bike is bang for the buck. I don't think they've defeated Dominar in that regard yet. Still reigns to be the king in VFM bikes. Can't shake that off. To people who will jump on the bandwagon of some other brand, can you buy that bike off the showroom and immediately be at peace without any mods or additional expenses atleast for a year? A tip from Adv 390 owner: don’t switch to 6th gear until 158 KM/H on the adv 390. This makes a lot of difference to achieve top speed. It’s worst mistake to if you try to switch to 6th gear during 140s on adv 390, it won’t got beyond 155KM/H.
@@just_sid_things yes, I went to KTM thinking that my bike was faulty for not reaching 165+ speed. Then one day I tried achieving top speed by not switching until limiter touches its limit and it worked I was able achieve 169 in 1st attempt and 170 in second attempt. Don’t switch to 6th gear until 158 to 162 speeds.

Well these are 2 cylinders of the Himalayan, that's the advantage it has against the Indian bikes, but the Indian bikes makes it very good for have only 1 cylinder 😊
First make the bike aa stock as possible . At least remove that stupid extra windshield attachment on KTM. When u tuck-in, the stock windshield is enough to deflect the air efficiently. what is the point of having a saddle stay on KTM during a drag race ?. Those who own a 390 adv know that the bike will reach 170 without much struggle. Your bike is struggling to get past 160.

None of these three has racing aerodynamics so these machines can catch speed but in a competitive race you cannot judge their performance this way.
Himalyan ka engine capacity zada hai. Thoda power zada hai. Dominar weighted hai. Dominar is not made to be the swiftest. I think dominar is the best.
