Who’s listening & jumping to this live happiness masterpiece in 2024
Hell yes! This is glorious.
me lol, great song
That trumpet was the fucking bomb.
Jesus christ.
5 years later... came here to this! Cheers!
Sometimes zero rehearsal is exactly what a song needs to be awesome.
Wagon Wheel is about hope, love, determination and freedom. Nuttin wrong with that.
I just discovered this song and apart from it being a great song it was really resignating with me. Your comment is exactly why!
That trumpet solo was fire
Bryan Stanley z
Thanks for the name, thay solo blew my f**ing mind away!
fuckin' ill, and PERFECTLY timed.
Blonde is standing in the way😂
U aint lying
That Brass at the end UNBELIEVABLE! That guy can play!
Never thought brass would work with this song. But...
I really like when Mumford & Sons does these concerts with the group.
Now this is what I call a jam session!!!! Just a bunch of talented musicians pooling their talents together and having the time of their lives. What I would have done to be in that crowd.
This is what happiness looks like.
To whoever took that video: THANK YOU!!!
I am convinced that if 2020 had a trumpet solo in the middle of it, things would get better.
Every now and again I come back to this video and every time it puts a smile on my face
Hey Dan from a year ago. Forgot you commented. You finally got the girl by the way. Life is good.
am i the only one who absolutely loves the trumpet in this song?!?!?!
Everyone is doing this song.......Thank you Old Crow Medicine for bring the song to us and finishing Dylan's idea
yeah, an idea that Dylan got from Big Boy.
Yeah... but this is good
Old Crow 🤘🏼
literally earlier this week I learned Bob Dylan wrote "Make you feel my love" which Billy Joel and Adele sang and made hits off of. Amazing his musical mind.
@@paulinotou yep! Classic!
This is one of the best wagon wheels I've ever heard
Crying at the beauty of this holy shit
I listened to this like 200 times.
At about 4:35, just after the "Bristol City" bit who has noticed the female backing vocal that just adds sooooo much, it's like "oooooooooohhh aaaaaaahhhh" and the trumpet near the end just totally blows this out of the water. LOVE IT
Its just a jam, of course if not perfect but that's what makes it brilliant!
Some of the best music I've ever heard has been spontaneous jamming ....the more musicians (and non-musicians!), the better!
This song went from good to perfect when that trumpet came in.
I can't believe I was there. I'll never forget that.
Josh Miller damn man. you're one lucky soul...
lucky fuck
This are the kinds of concerts and performances that make me totally happy. Seeing musicians having just as an amazing time as the crowd, enjoying every second... Love.
Wow. Such good sound quality. Can’t get enough.
Epic!!! The energy, the music, the lyrics, the musicians, the vocals, the smile on everyone's face.....this is what live music is all about.
Hats off to everyone on stage. Thank You for this music video experience.
This is the most happiness I have ever seen on one stage.
Wow! Thank you uploader for sacrificing dancing, clapping and going crazy while they played this song.
To all my friends and family, I wish all the people in the world who have hearts filled with hate would think again and thank God for the wonderfull world we live in.
I was in the front row... greatest concert of my life by some of the greatest bands of our time
Kudos to the person that caught this on camera. So much energy! fantastic.
I was at this concert and I tell ya, one of the best I have ever attended. I didn't know a song that M&S sang but after - became a fan.
Music comes across the ocean, both directions.
I was at this show and it was an absolutely incredible day/night of music. I am from Bristol and live there now and seeing this come to fruition was just s real blessing. Always been a fan of their music snd this show just solidified it.
Definitely a song to play outside in the summer with a bottle of whiskey, some good friends and have a great time. Brilliant
I played the trumpet in high school. I can't play like that. So much talent. All of them. Unbelievable.
This is music. Nothing too flashy or auto tuned, just great musicians playing great music and loving what they're doing.
Absolutely brilliant , that's what music is all about !!!!
This must have been so much fun to be a part of, holy
Tyler Appleby Look up This Train is Bound For Glory on the Big Easy Express documentary. They are good at these ensembles.
+galept Yes!!!! This Train is bound for Glory is incredible!!!! Also Amazing Grace at Bonaroo....you don't have to be religious to appreciate what a incredible performance that was. Love Mumford & Sons and their many friends they play with.
My GOD, this is honestly one of the most amazing things I have ever heard in all of my days. Now I have the urge to play some wagon wheel on my guitar... Then learn keys, banjo and trumpet. Fuck this is good
I'm still jammin to this banger in 2024! when I listen to this song, so do my neighbors! Cheers!
This is one of the greatest performances Ive ever scene!!! Wow!! And one of my favorite all time songs too. LOVE IT
Still one of my favorite live performances to go back and watch. Wish I could’ve been there
my life will be complete if they do a high quality of this
That guitar solo. Perfect!
That is the best that I have ever felt.
This is amazing. Its just a bunch of people on stage having a good time together. and it works so well.

I was there and it was literally the best night of my life.
the guy on the trumpet makes this performance amazing!!!
This Makes me want too put a Nieghboorhood band together.!
This was such a great concert and wagon wheel definitely should of been on the cd download.
When the horn comes in, the crowd explodes. What a performance 8O
7 years later and watch this a few times a year! Happy and fun!
THIS is what REAL music is.
To whomever the uploader: how you kept a clear mid to record all the solos etc is beyond me. This is the greatest performance of all time. I wouldve lost my sh.t. No way i would be able to record. Thank you so much for this
Never seen such a passionate performance before, fucking awesome!!! Wish I could have been there.
This recording is pure joy!
As much as I love Mumford and Sons and everyone in it, I really wish Winston was actually singing instead of just yelling into the mic.
i like it
They are having a great time in this video. What an experience to be part of that energy.
How could someone dislike this?...
Man,that was a party!
GOOOOOSE!!!!!!!!!!!! BUMPS!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw them in concert, true performer!!! They sound just as good live as they do in the studio!!!! Thanks for posting this video.
Who else thinks this should be made into an official tour single?
Unusual talent in music these day...nuff said!!!
I was at this tour. Best show ever
I did it...I found the best video on the internet
Of course this song pops up.. first time hearing mumford & sons sing it!! Does have good days tied to it ♡
I saw Mumford & Sons at Bonaroo X, they put on a hell of a show, but would of loved this tune dudes :) (Telluride Bluegrass Festival. nough said, mic drop!)
I love this band For them to come to bristol where it all started is huge. The best music out right now by far. Thanks for the upload
that may have been the greatest thing ive ever listened to. Tremendous.
Headin' down south to the land of the pines
I'm thumbin' my way into North Caroline
Starin' up the road and pray to God I see headlights
I made it down the coast in seventeen hours
Pickin' me a bouquet of dogwood flowers
And I'm a-hopin' for Raleigh, I can see my baby tonight
So, rock me mama like a wagon wheel
Rock me mama any way you feel
Hey... mama rock me
Rock me mama like the wind and the rain
Rock me mama like a southbound train
Hey... mama rock me
Runnin' from the cold up in New England
I was born to be a fiddler in an old time string band
My baby plays a guitar, I pick a banjo now
Oh, north country winters keep a-gettin' me down
Lost my money playin' poker, so I had to leave town
But I ain't a-turnin' back to livin' that old life no more
So, rock me mama like a wagon wheel
Rock me mama any way you feel
Hey... mama rock me
Yeah, rock me mama like the wind and the rain
Rock me mama like a southbound train
Hey... mama rock me
Walkin' to the south out of Roanoke
I caught a trucker out of Philly, had a nice long toke
But he's a-headin' west from the Cumberland Gap
To Johnson City, Tennessee
And I gotta get a move on before the sun
I hear my baby callin' my name and I know that she's the only one
And if I died in Raleigh, at least I will die free
So, rock me mama like a wagon wheel
Rock me mama any way you feel
Hey... mama rock me
Oh, rock me mama like the wind and the rain
Rock me mama like a southbound train
Hey... mama rock me
So, rock me mama like a wagon wheel
Rock me mama any way you feel (oh, I wanna feel)
Hey... mama rock me
Rock me mama like the wind and the rain
Rock me mama like a southbound train
Hey... mama rock me
Apart from the great music, I just love watching Winston in this video. They're all having such a great time, it's contagious.

“Blow that horn boys!” *immediate goosebumps*
If I had 3 wishes, 1 would be to go back in time and take part in these good times.
First time I hear my favorite song ever covered - that is definitively not bad!
Holy fuck. Absolutely beautiful, I felt the energy from watching this and it was just fantastic and amazing that no one had practised the song previously. I'm not really a big fan of Mum&sons but this was ecstatic and wonderful! Cheers from Canada and thanks for filming and to all those who performed for everyone.
Just a bunch of people havin fun playin a great song if you don't like it duck you cheers to a great version
THIS is why Live Music is SOOOO Friggin Awesome, Hahahaha.. you can't beat that energy for nuthin, kids...
Love it. Love the OCMS version the best, but these guys are having such a good time with the song you can't help but like it.
proof that people still listen to and love real music
my day is now better.
mine too
Cheered me up big style 😊
Thanks
Exactly why people should go out there, experience the music in person, put your phones away and be in the moment because you only live once...
I believe him when he says there was zero rehearsal of this song.
Bob Dylan wrote the chorus for this song while writing the soundtrack for Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid. Got the idea from an old blues song with the hook "hey mama rock me". Wasn't able to get rights to the song so he gave up on it. Secor heard a recording when he was in high school and wrote the verses. Performed it live for years and when OCMS got their first record deal he asked Dylan for permission. Dylan gave it as well as whoever held rights to the original hook. Awesome video!
Yup yup, I always tell people this as they have no idea at all. They think it's Hootie's song lol, which pisses me off, he's not a real musician and doesn't do the cover justice. Atleast these guys understand the roots of it and it's always gonna be an ol time string band!
This looks like one of the funnest concerts ever to attend.
A great song by an amazing collaboration.. None of which are from the land of the long leaf pine. But it so reminds of my Carolina home. Hark the sound of Tar Heel voices. This is an amazing song. Amazing concert
The awesome power and genius of Bob Dylan
Still love 'em.
Man What a blast this must have been !
This is litchrally my favorite thing ever
Just a belter❤
They killed it! GO MUMFORD!
Bring your band to the Doc and Rosa Lee Watson Music festival in Sugar Grove. Old Crow Medicine Show are a local band here.
Promise you the crowd will drown you out. 😊
