Matt sensei i have a constructive criticism, could you use an equalizer and equalize your voice and the example sentence clips so watcher doesnt need to up and down the volume button?
for example the feature of layer in desktop audio of OBS, it acts as an equalizer if set correctly source: shogoz and other OBS setting CCs

Take that well deserved break, knowing you’ve created THE definitive N3 resource on the internet, Matt! As your project is now complete, I’m actually getting started on my master’s thesis in linguistics, partially inspired by your work, I’ll be analyzing the effectiveness of game scripts for learning vocabulary. The science is on your side I’m happy to say! Plenty of smart people have done studies on this stuff over the years, and they say playing video games not only makes you more motivated to keep learning, but also makes you more confident and productive!

39:34 Japanese Wikipedia is fascinated with 「である。」
2:01:26 Actually, Clefable, but given the variety of games covered, the conflation is reasonable.
4:47:54 In the English versions of Kanto Pokémon games, using an item in the incorrect occasion results in Professor Oak telling the player character this.
    Mispronunciations:
    2:48:36 “Heravista”
    3:34:58 “Ektabana”
    3:46:17 “Zodiac”
Finally, as a Japanese would say, お疲れ様でした!(おつかれさまでした!)

I can't thank you enough for all your time for making these videos. You're also the first person that explains stuff like "は means as for me" which is the best explanation I've read. They're faster pace which makes things nice and compact and helps with my adhd ness, especially with jumping from one game to another.

When I came back to this after learning a lot of the words you used, it makes a LOT more sense. Of course, I still don't understand everything, but it might not be a bad idea to make a checklist of videos to watch before videos like this one. The ones where you go over an individual game is perfectly fine because it's all being explained to some extent, but videos like this one where you don't go over every detail (understandable) it does cause problems. That does cause problems from my personal experience.
That wagotabi game you recommended after this video really did help my understanding of this as well, due to understanding the sentence structure more than the last time I watched this. For example the 俺は決して悪くない at the time I didn't know おれ was I, or that 悪い was bad. Because of that I was confused as to where things were put, and was unable to practice it . With a basic understanding of sentence structures, and the words actually used, it makes a LOT more sense. I had this same problem in the n5 video so it's not just the fact this is n3.
Video games don't follow the jlpt that well, so unlike someone like Tokini, who basically follows the standard learning stuff, your channel might benefit from that. Of course, you know a lot more than I do, and how to structure things, but sometimes an expert can forget small details like that which make a massive impact.
