Stopping by here just to say I watched your entire N4 grammar video over two days right before taking the JLPT, and despite encountering many of those grammar points for the first time, I'm fairly certain I passed the JLPT by quite a lot. I'd been overly focused on kanji and vocab for months, and your video really helped me cram on the aspect I'd most neglected. Thank you so much.
I had a lot of work to do today, so instead I made an anki deck to go along with this video. I took a single audio clip from each word's examples, some of them I cut down to just the sentence with the vocab word in it, some I left as they were, there was no rhyme or reason to which. I ended up with 124 cards instead of 126, I know I intentionally combined the two instances of かける into one card, because that's how the definitions were listed on jisho. As for the other missing card I'm not entirely sure. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ A quick rundown of the deck's layout: Kanji: This is pretty self explainitory, contains any kanji the word uses + okurigana. Kana: The word written out in kana alone. English: The definition(s) of the word, taken from jisho. PoS: Part of Speech, using the same shorthand that jisho uses, v5k for godan/u-verbs ending in ku, v1 for ichidan/ru-verbs, uk if the word is usually written in kana alone, etc. Source: The game the audio clip I chose came from. There were a few where I couldn't identify any of the games used as examples, those I left blank, and there were some where I knew the series but not which specific game, so they only got the series name. This mostly happened to Dragon Ball games because I swear a new one comes out every week. Audio: The audio clip. As I said earlier some of them I trimmed, some I left as they were. I apologize for any Discord bloops that may have made it through. Diagram: Stroke order diagram for the kanji. They should be embedded in the cards, but if not you can get the kanji colorizer add-on for anki and it'll fill them in. There are three types of cards in this deck: Kanji->English: These I use for just simple recall. See the word, recall it's English meaning. English->Kanji: For these I have a notebook, I see the English word and attempt to write it out in Japanese. The writing is optional, but it really helps me remember kanji. Kana->Kanji: Same as above, but starting from kana. The English meaning is on the reverse along with the kanji. You may want to check the "bury new siblings until the next day" box in the options so you don't get all three of them in a row, but that's really only an issue the first time you see them, at least for me because my recall rate for the three types isn't consistent. Also to note that the formatting of the cards is set up for dark mode, some of my color choices may melt your eyes if you're not in dark mode. I don't think RUclips will let me link directly, so the deck number is: 1018186101 While making this deck I noticed that tomeru was misplaced and was hanging out with it's brother tomaru in the godan verbs. I love the way your take the examples from the games for easy understanding. i learned Japanese many years ago. i dont have a chance to practice in my daily life so i forgot most of the grammar. I remember i was confused about 自動詞,他動詞and passive voice. I know the verb conjugation for 使役型 and 使役被動型, but i am not sure when we would use such verb conjugation in our daily conversation. it seems to me those verb conjugation is rarely used. grateful if you make some videos about that. 27:02 You wrote the correct Kanji 階段 for stairs and that's what the character said, but the hiragana is off and says だんかい which actually can mean stairs as well but then it would be written 段階。 Kind of impressed i noticed that but if anyone picks up on it... 27:11 Also here the character is saying 橋(はし)を登って進むぞ! 急げ climbing a ladder like the english sub says. But the Japanese below reads 様子(ようす)を登って進むぞ! Which reads "Lets climb the situation" lol
Hey I have a question, for to sell 売る, it says in furigana うる above it but the second example (5:58) the furigana above spell うた so its written as うたって, but should it not be うって? Or am I misunderstanding something? Thanks in advance!

In order to give the viewer the best coverage, I generally combine all lists I can find on the internet. I believe JLPTSENSEI's was included, although it was missing some important verbs, which is why this list is longer than theirs.
I feel conflicted about this channel. Even though I like it and like learning japanese with anime and games being ok with that I don't understand everything. I still think this is a hard channel to use and I don't really know how to use it.
your video might be a bit too complicated for beginner, but the spirit is simple and it’s motivating. I keep playing shinnosuke every now and then, just to learn the phases, it’s like a textbook to me 😂
