Thank you so much for sharing your time and knowledge, it's so awesome. Also, you are only one of two people on RUclips where I have been successful in building a guitar pedal and having it work. Usually the other ones don't work or perform correctly, not sure why. I use a strat through a Peavey vyper modeling amp, your schematics and explanations have helped me be successful. I don't know why the others don't work, also, every time I use a transistor based pedal like the lbh fuzz or single opamp it works fine but Everytime I try to use two opamps together it never works, even the ones you have posted in other videos.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it! It's so great to hear that you were able to build a guitar pedal, I hope you're having fun with it! And, I am grateful that I was able to be of some help to you. Regarding the two op amp circuit, if you're working with two separate op amp chips (so 4 total op amps) it might be a grounding or bias issue.
❤ the Ibanez is such a beauty in contrast to the evil sounds that it can create. The on board chorus shows that pedal companies was back in the 90s allready ahead its time. Thank you sir for sharing.
Thanks for watching! Yes! The Session-Man is a great looking pedal with its color and design! Thanks for your kind words, I hope you enjoyed the video!
I was looking at Electrosmash analysis of the Rat circuit and I had an idea. I was running my guitar through my Korg MS20 and got a fantastic sound through the HPS and LPS filters. Why not do a Frankanstein Rat. Instead of the tone control you have the MS20 HPF and LPF filters with cut-off and resonance...
Thanks for the idea! I don't know the circuit for the filters on the MS20, but it would be a great idea to do a separate LP and HP filter knob on a RAT pedal!
Nice video as always Arito! I must say your Rat pedal sounded a bit better than the other two!
Hi Patrik! Thanks for always checking out my videos! Great to hear you liked the sound of my RAT pedal!
