    - i love seeing the younger guys and gals taking some old faithful sounds to a new level whilst still retaining the urge and power which fascinated me hearing old Sabbath and stuff ...

In defence of his very expensive pedal, there is a difference between just the pedal in the room and the pedal after you've tweaked the amp around a bit and then played it in a band with other musicians. The Behringer sounds great on it's own and is a clone of the pedal that Electric Wizard uses so probably sounds great in a band setup too, but if Oz is loving his fuzz war then great. He might buy the Tone City and the Behringer and take them to practice and find they just don't work as well.
There's always trial and error in these things.

THat was one of the most FUN vids you guys have done.
I play only originals and use Metal sounds from every decade and Metal genre. I have a few of today's pedals including the winner. To be honest I was most impressed by the Tone City Matcha Cream. It does the DOOM thing but very, very tight. Some tunes or parts of tunes need huge but tight and without sacrificing some tone, especially if there is vocal over them.

Extreme noise and chaos, the cheapest pedals are fab! Plus the Rams Head Big Muff. Good taste! The Carcosa was surprisingly high pitched whitney.

It's definitely up there (it can't really be compared with other fuzz pedals that sound nothing like it). I've owned lots of fuzzes, and it's definitely the best octave fuzz I've ever had.

Fantastic video! Loving the doomage and great to see the mighty Behringer triumphing over all opposition.
Lee, I think you were thinking of Rocky Marciano, undefeated heavyweight champion. Roberto Duran was amazing but he did have losses.

It's fun in these fuzz tests for dirty doom tones to see how cheap pedals can do really well. I've got that behringer as well and it's amazing for its price.

Oh yeah. Instead of playing riff and shredding, we also needs this kind of segment which is just power chord. Nice one! Your next segment should me comparison between distortion to distortion and od to od.

from the bands mentioned at beginning I was expecting that I wont be liking the tone on any of these pedals, simply because Im not familiar with doom metal and the bands sounded like demo tapes, but my god was I wrong.. those walls of tone and distortion is so amazing

That was a amazing shootout and the superfuzz justifiably kill it! It's a monster and behringer knows how to corner a market esp since they've also bought all the components the others use. I live the fuzz war and the super fuzz war as well so don't feel bad. My superfuzz and my swollen pickle get used a lot more. The cd arcosa is a minster and I'm buying one STAT. I would have liked to see the Sunn Life by EQD thrown in the mix. The match cream was also an unexpected beast. Great video! My Bass VI thanks you and outdooms an SG but it is sort of cheating.
