@@NorCalRide Thank you for your comment! The way to use the eggs is very useful, so please give it a try! The method for cooking onions in the beef bowl video I posted today is also a personal favorite. Be sure to check it out:)

@@jpcookingichie that start is how you make a basic Teriyaki Sauce, too ,right? I once tried to make it and it became way to powerful and smokey😢 i also have to cook on an electric stove, so after one minute there will be nothing cooking, do you have any advice please?🙏
thanks for this video! i have been making oyakodon for years, but i had no idea about cross cutting the onions and separating the eggs! those seem like great ideas.
Thank you for your comment! Japanese cuisine becomes incredibly delicious with just a little extra effort. For example, in my recently posted video on how to cook rice, the step of soaking the rice is particularly important. I hope you enjoy making delicious Japanese dishes at home :) Also, if there are any Japanese dishes you would like me to post about, please let me know!
@@se7engold Thank you for the comment and for subscribing to the channel! Yes, that’s true. Japanese cooking often involves simmering ingredients slowly to bring out their natural sweetness, so it might require a bit of patience, haha.
Thank you so much for this. Whenever I have tried this previously my egg white mixture has turned brown and looked unappetising! I now know to cook the whites first then add the yoke to brighten the meal :)
Every time I make something with chicken and eggs my wife says we're eating "the whole family" haha. I have to try this one. Boiling does seem healthy compared to stir frying.

Thank you for your comment! The sauce from this recipe is definitely more delicious than sukiyaki sauce! Let me know if you make it and find it tasty :)
Thank you for your comment. Are you referring to the eggs? You need to add the egg whites from two eggs first, and it’s easier to separate them into a bowl beforehand. If you can put four eggs in a large bowl, mix just the egg whites a little, and then add the egg whites from two eggs to the pan, there’s no need to use two bowls.
Will try this. Love japanese food

This oyakodon is easy to make and super delicious, so definitely give it a try!

Japanese people like the look of abundance of the bowl, that's what i think
Ah, I misunderstood. You were talking about the bowl for the oyakodon. This was the only nice bowl I had at home, so I think I'll buy a new one!
One of the easiest japanese recipees when trying out japanese cooking.
Just make sure not to translate what the name means :D
Thank you for the comment! It's true that oyakodon is an easy and delicious Japanese dish! The name is a bit cruel, though... :(
