How to Cook Perfect Rice In a Pot & On Stove : No Rice Cooker? No Problem!
I first had this dish in Tokyo Japan at the restaurant. It was so delicious unbelievable flavor.
Thank you for the comment! This beef bowl is delicious enough to be served at a restaurant. When making it, be sure to follow the type of beef and cooking method closely!
Just made it tonight. Tastes just like I remember back in Japan. I just wish it was cold weather because Japanese food tastes better in winter. Thanks.
Thank you for the comment! I'm glad you were able to make it well. I have introduced many other delicious Japanese dishes, so please give them a try!
This look really delicious!
It's really delicious, so give it a try!
Sangat profesional
thankyou!:)
thank you for the video. Looking forward to trying this at home.
The key is to simmer it slowly over low heat!! Definitely give it a try!
I’ve been watching these videos for a week now and I’ve learned so much in a short amount of time. Thanks to you,I can prepare Japanese dishes for my niece.
Thank you for watching a lot! My goal is to make it possible for anyone to cook delicious Japanese dishes! I will continue to introduce various recipes, so please stay tuned!
Chef, can you show me how to cook some ramen noodles?😊
Sure! I'm planning to post it around February, so look forward to it!
Excellent educational video. Go for 6.5-7 minutes if you like jammy egg yolks! Also,if you want to use a bowl instead of a ziplock bag for marinating, drape a paper towel over the eggs. It’ll absorb the marinade and apply it to the top of the eggs
Thank you for the additional information!
subscribe lets goooo
Love all your video's all the way from the united kingdom - England <3 visiting japan for 3 weeks in Nov 2026! Your recipes are keeping me sane !!!!
Thank you for your comment! I'll introduce many more delicious Japanese dishes, so please look forward to it!
time to add some melted cheese 😎💀
In addition to cheese, I also recommend grated daikon as a topping!
I’m gonna cook this next time. Going to try and find a good kind of beef to use
Please choose thin beef with a lot of marbling!
@ yes I’m not sure where I will find it but it work out 🙇♂️🫂🙏 I’ll keep you posted!
Ah man it's been awhile i haven't had any Yoshinoya beef bowl 😂 It's simple, affordable, and taste decent 😋
No wonder Kinnikuman loves this meal
Yoshinoya at home:
thanks for another awesome video!! we have had some okonomiyaki in kobe, osaka and hiroshima on our trip. i love how the styles are so different, yet all still so delicious! happy new year. :-)
Thank you for your comment! This recipe is for Osaka-style okonomiyaki. I'd like to introduce Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki someday too!Happy New Year!
@@jpcookingichie sometime in the future could you please do a video on making lemon flavour noriten?! we tried it on our trip and there's no way we are ever going to find any to buy in canada, but it looks like it might be easy to make. it was a delicious snack!!! thanks again for you great videos!
Thanks so much for the video! I know the crispy pork helps the cabbage steam underneath, but I can't eat pork, unfortunately. Do you know of a way to make it just as good without pork?
How about trying beef instead of pork? If you can't eat beef either, making it without meat is also an option. It's delicious even without meat!
@jpcookingichie Great! Thanks for your response!
C'est beau
Hi. Do you offer a written recipe? Thanks.😊
Thank you for your comment! The written recipe is still in preparation... Please look forward to it.
I like scrambling an egg with a little of the beef and onion before adding it to my rice
It's called "tamago toji don" in Japan. It's delicious!!
Just found your videos. It's so good. I will try doing this chicken teriyaki tmrw. Looks so yummy.
I will try this! So clear instructions and easy to find ingredients! ❤😊
For me, Matsuya is the best. Truly awesome gyudon 😍😍
OMG I made this for dinner and it turned out great! And I’m someone who doesn’t cook well. It’s not as sweet as yoshinoya, which is fine for me. Thanks to the person who suggested buying thinly sliced beef. I found sukiyaki meat at the Japanese market. Definitely a keeper!
Thank you for the comment! I'm glad to hear that it turned out delicious! I have other delicious Japanese dishes to share, so be sure to check them out!
thanks ive been craving gyudon since i left japan.
Thank you for the comment! It's delicious, so definitely give it a try! The key is to simmer the thin cuts of fatty beef slowly over low heat.
Thank you for the reciepe! Does this do for one person or two? Keep up the amazing work :)
In the video, I only made one piece, but I'm introducing the recipe for two servings! Thank you for your comment!
Damn Daniel Nice pizza
Thank you for your comment! In terms of how it’s made, it's more like a pancake than a pizza. Haha. It's very delicious, so please give it a try!
Thank you! I'll be using this soon. 😊
Thank you for your comment! Let me know if you make it and how it turns out!
seems to me it would probably be just simpler to heat it in the oven with a little bit of oil and sear could even season it mmm
It might still be delicious, but the tenderness of the chashu cannot be replicated. It’s not chashu; it’s just grilled pork.
What should I use to replace the mirin?
When you don't have mirin, please refer to this video. How to Make Mirin Substitute : Easy with Seasonings Available at Home ruclips.net/video/j_hB4Lbudqk/видео.html
Yum! 😊 😋
Thank you for your comment! I'm glad it turned out delicious!
My favorite
Do you have a kushikatsu sauce recipe?
Sure! I'll do my best to introduce the recipe for kushikatsu and kushikatsu sauce early next year!
Your food looks delicious. I will cook it for lunch and dinner.
Thank you for your comment! The key is to simmer it slowly over low heat!
If one has dashi base, how much would one add to the 800mL water?
The guideline for dashi powder is 1 teaspoon (4g) per 600ml of water. However, since it can become too salty, this recipe recommends using 3-4g for 800ml of water.
What? I've been eating gyudon not knowing it had sugar? 😢
I've quickly become a fan of your videos! I love the chill vibe and simple instructions ❤ Your voice is calming and reminds me of Francis from Cooking with Dog!
Thank you for your comment! I'll continue to share delicious Japanese dishes, so please stay tuned!
That is perfect for winter 👌 😍
Ну никак я не понимаю манеру во все лить сладкий мирин
Mirin adds sweetness and flavor to gyudon and helps tenderize the meat. This improves the overall taste of the dish.
Only three ingredients…. Proceeds to use more than ten ingredients
I'm sorry! I wanted to convey that the main ingredients are meat, onion, and ginger. I'll make sure to avoid any misunderstandings in the future!
@jpcookingichie , if I don't sake, what can I use as substitute?
@@marilirudolph3662white wine maybe?
I use apple juice to substitute sake @@marilirudolph3662
@@jpcookingichieI do agree the simple the better, ginger onion and best of all the meat quality and thats it, Japanese are cooking simple less ingredients but the best food I ever taste
The picture says 3 ingredients, but the video says otherwise. I feel I have been lied to but. I love this so you are forgiven. No need to commit sudoku.
I'm sorry! I wanted to convey that the main ingredients are meat, onion, and ginger. I'll make sure to avoid any misunderstandings in the future!
I’m soo hungry and it’s 11:42 pm in Hawaii 😂 I will. Make this version… because I actually have the shabu shabu meat from Costco!! In fact I have everything needed!!!
Thank you for the comment! Costco is really convenient, isn't it? Try to choose meat with a higher fat content as much as possible. Also, the key is to cook it slowly over low heat!
Is there any other ingredients to substitute the sake and mirin? To make it halal
If you can’t use alcohol, it’s also fine to skip it. The role of cooking sake and mirin is to add umami and eliminate unwanted odors, but other seasonings generally achieve similar effects, so omitting it won’t make a big difference.
thanks
I'd like to learn how to make stir-fry veg (野菜炒め) I tried many times but don't know what sauce to use.
Vegetable stir-fry can be made with various sauces, or even without any. I have my own special recipe for vegetable stir-fry that I'll share with you soon! I'll introduce it around January or February next year!
Finally, as you promised, the much-awaited takoyaki sauce😊 And a bonus.... okonomiyaki sauce. Thanks😊
I will keep my promises! After all, I'm Japanese! I'll also introduce the differences between the two sauces, so make sure to watch until the end! :)
As I know you will. Well done!😊
thanks for another great video!!
Thank you for your comments as always! :)
what a great idea!! i am hoping to get one of those square pans while i am in osaka. i have a tako pan at home, but i like tamagoyaki and want to get better at making that. thanks for the great video.
Thank you for your comment! This takoyaki is made using a method that isn’t very well-known in Japan. But it’s really delicious! I made it three times last week!:)
The camera moves too much bro, it gives motion sickness
Thank you for the advice! I'll let the photographer know!
