John Voight also starred in the film The Midnight Cowboy with Dustin Hoffman! I love that movie! And Martin Sheen in his early career starred in a movie called The Execution of Private Eddie Slovak! Another favorite of mine!! Both actors were very young and these films were an integral part of the beginning of their careers!!

Does anyone know if Powers Boothe was related to John Wilkes Boothe? Ive halfass looked it up but cant find anything. The Boothe family was big into acting, of course with John being a star of his era ( before he killed Lincoln). Theyre both dark haired and the name Boothe really isnt a commonly used last name.
So many of these actors had grandchildren who became actors as well - Melanie Griffith's daughter Dakota Johnson, for example - and other families who have multiple generations of actors (Barrymores!) I'm surprised that you left them out.

If this is about "great acting families", then Jerry missed a lot! For starters, John Carradine had 3 acting sons. Jerry missed Robert Carradine John Huston, the son of the great actor Walter Huston, is the father of Anjelica. He is also the father of Danny Huston. And the grandfather of Jack Huston. And there's a lot more Jerry missed.
When it comes to film documentaries, Jerry, you are the gold standard!

Also Angelica Houston has a Brother Danny Houston who has done many roles. One of my favourite roles of his is the Head vampire in 30 Days of Night.
Don't forget Robert Caradine. Played in many movies but his most famous role is in Revenge of the Nerds.

One of my favorite movies is Wall Street. I liked seeing Charlie Sheen and his dad Martin Sheen together in that, playing father and son.
