I think that the connection between Lady Diana's family, surnamed Spencer, and Winston's relatives who were surnamed Spencer-Churchill or just Churchill, was quite a long way back? I've seen quite a few public member trees on ancestry that erroneously have the late Princess of Wales as a Spencer-Churchill rather than a Spencer, so it would be nice for there to be a video which sets that particular record straight and explains the connection between the Earls Spencer, Dukes of Marlborough and so on. Not much really there. Before Fred the tree is kinda dead. His mother and father were a farm couple in Mississippi, Fred grew up marginally Christian but was saved as a teen, IIRC. If I remember right he went to a bible college, then off to law school, was a civil rights attorney in the 60s and then he went off the deep end, finally got disbarred in the 80s and became a full time lunatic, founding Westboro and going on to terrorize the country.

@@farhanmizra I’m sure I’ve seen him in some older movies, but it might be because I watched them with my mom. Could be that the genre that he played in wasn’t typically a genre I watch.
@@farhanmizra actually I just went to IMDb and scrolled through his filmography and that’s absolutely why - I typically don’t seek out action/drama/war/historical films.
@@e11eohe11e ah, okay. I didn't realise the genre factor. 😅
Well, someday, when you're ready to open that filter, be sure to watch it. Recommended. 👍🏻
The Wayans have 2 generations now--children of Keenan's generation. Also, you forgot the Carradines.
Wait, did you skip over Jason Schwartzman (Coppola Tree)?! Or am I just sleepy? If skipped, why? He's one of my favorite actors
I wondered that too. I was also surprised to see that he and Nicolas Cage are related!
@@anniekallen4472 I also just noticed that Sofia Coppola is missing! She's not known for her acting (except that it's cringey lol), but she's a great, well known director.
I know Donald Sutherland from the Hunger Games
Same 😂
he was in The Buffy movie 😆.
He was Mr Bennet in 2005 Pride and Prejudice and was in Kelly’s Heroes. Much more famous than his son.
And I knew him from A Time to Kill and Citizen X.
🙂
italian job
I do miss some acting families, though they might be more British/Irish than Hollywood.
-Redgrave, Harris, Troughton & Cusack/Irons.
Other smaller trees:
-Pertwee, Davidson(Moffett)/Tennant(McDonald), Gleeson & Skarsgård (Swedish).
Who is your favorite Barrymore? Also, what is your favorite Hollywood dynasty? Are any of you related to the people in the charts? Finally, how do they all relate to Kevin Bacon? (Someone had to ask that last one, right?)
“That hair style is enough to tell you what she known for” blind people who don’t know who Carrie Fisher is
He did mention that Carrie was in Star Wars when talking about her daughter
Doubt blind people care much about films and actors in the first place.
Thank you UsefulCharts channel… super hooked and very interesting! I ❤️ your channel!
I'm surprised you didn't mention Sofia Coppola in the Coppola tree!
Some Families you forgot: Quaid’s, Murray’s, Huston’s, Howard’s, Cusack’s, Skåsgard’s, and you definitely forgot that Damon Wayans has a son who’s a known actor (Damon Wayans Jr.), and he’s in one of my favorite movies (The Other Guys).
The Barrymores still run a vocal school in New York. Axel Rose went there after he became famous so he could learn how to sing properly.
Only a suggestion here, how about the Carradine dynasty! Everything you do is fantastic, and I know you'll always come up with new ideas for family trees, etc.,! 😀👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌
I'd love to see a Barrymore documentary like Ken Burns style or a series about their family. Man! The stories are endless. Louisa not wanting Georgina to marry the scoundrel Maurice Barrymore to him being shot in a saloon with John Drew present,..., on and on.
I'd be interested in more celebrity family trees, like music with the Gordy and Jackson families, or the Swarzcheneger/Schiver tree
There is a video about the Gordy family
Looks like you may need to do a part two with all the other families people are suggesting. I've got another one. John Mills, his wife Mary Hayley Bell, and their daughters Juliet and Hayley.
John Drew Barrymore actually dropped out of his Star Trek guest appearance at the last minute - one of the features of the troubled production of the Original Series' most incomprehensible episode, "The Alternative Factor".
You're selling Donald Sutherland short. Kiefer Sutherland might be more well known to you, but his father has over 400 titles in his IMDB Filmography. He is widely known and respected for his acting talents and has been a major film star for decades.
You’ve missed a Barrymore…. John Blyth Barrymore III from the union of John Drew Barrymore II and Cara Williams (Jewish) Actress TV’s Pete and Gladys.
the Barrymore's are awesome - list made my day
Here in Philadelphia our theatre awards are called Barrymores :)
I've recently been super interested in the craziness of the Westboro Baptist Church. I would find it super interesting to watch a video about the pastor's family tree.
I just love this channel! Keep up the great work!
You left out John Barrymore III. Also worth mentioning that John Barrymore Jr. was a big star in Italian sword and sandal pictures, the craze of his day. Work done indiligently .
I wonder if the Skarsgårds will be the subject of a similar video in a few years or decades. They already could've made the cut as a two-generation tree.
They should’ve been in this video too: Stellan (the dad) and then Alexander and Bill.
Missed out on the Eddie Fisher marriage to Debbie Reynolds and then Eddie Fisher's other actor children (Joely and Tricia), and Judy Garland's other children, who are/were also actors.
I can't believe you left out mention of Sofia Coppola, director of Lost in Translation, The Virgin Suicides, Marie Antoinette... Jeez
That was an odd pic to use of alec Baldwin lool. Think he more popular then other things for playing trump
like what
@@niceguy7171 all the movies hes been in. He was an A list celeb. Not sure how active he is right now tho
@@hollowkid97 I know but off the top of your head, what movies? I know he's been in things and tv shows, but can't name one, but he is now best known as a trump impersonator on SNL
@@niceguy7171 Beetlejuice, The Hunt for Red October, Glengarry Glen Ross are 3 from his early work, off the top of my head.
@@lg7368 Or how about 30 Rock
I didn't realize how far back the Barrymores went. Wow.
I knew some of these people were related, but put side by side now I can really see the resemblance
You should make this a series. A couple 2 or 3 generational acting/Hollywood/music/art families centered around a family that is much older of you can find any. Mostly cause I wanted to see the Russell family, Busey Family, and Hanks family. Lol
The chart didn't really flow well, but I did enjoy.
While interesting and I had a fun time - I wonder what age Jack thinks we all are‽ I would say that Kirk Douglas was just as famous as his father and most of the Barrymore names were totally familiar already. Nice to see how they connect but give us some credit.
Some more
- Moffat-Tennant -
Peter Davison (Who played the 5th Doctor Who and was in All Creatures Great and Small) who married Sandra Dickinson who was in the 80s Hitchhikers Guide. Sandra’s father was Harold Searles pioneer of psychiatric medicine, Peter and Sandra’s daughter Georgia Moffett who was in Dr Who as the Doctor’s daughter. Georgia’s husband is David Tennant, arguably the most famous in the tree, he played the 10th Doctor Who and has been in loads. His father was Moderator of Church of Scotland in the late 90s and his grandfather was a footballer.
Still hope to see a chart about famous classical composers. Specially the Bach family.
My nephew married a girl who’s foster dad was a chauffeur for an old woman lived in million dollar home behind Camelback Mountain in Phoenix. The reception was at that home. Had pictures on the walls on the Barrymore’s and herself. From the 1920’s. She was a real beauty in those pictures taken at famous clubs and posed also. She was very close to Barrymore family..
Missed the Huston family. Whooopsie.
Yeah, that's definitely a multi-generation family. Starting with Walter Huston, then John Huston, then Anjelica and Danny Huston, then Jack Huston. I think they're the only acting family to have three generations of Oscar winners (Walter, John, and Anjelica).
You should do a family tree on the Rankin Family, which includes Arthur Rankin Jr. (of Rankin-Bass fame)
Frank and Ethel Gumm ran a theatre in. Grand Rapids, Minnesota not Michigan. This is where Judy Garland was born and spent her earliest happy years. John Barrymore and Michael Strange only had one child together (Diana).
You are right they had only one child together that is Diana Barrymore.
woah, woah, woah...you're just gonna leave out the great Joe Estevez like that?
