Christian Science is a strange beast. My paternal grandmother travelled California in the late 1800's establishing CS reading rooms. The thing about CS is that it works best when you have a congregation that prays together for the healing. It had worked for me in some miraculous ways i.e., two broken and fractured wrists (at the same time, ouch) healed completely in 2 weeks instead of the recommended 6-8 weeks. But, I was young and heal quickly anyway. But the x-rays showed complete healing after two weeks. I can understand Val wanting to stay with his faith but if he didn't have a good support group from the church helping, praying and caring for him, well - very sad it went on so long. I have faith in miracles though and I sure hope Val gets one. When my brother David McCrea passed away I asked my brother Peter what he died from. Well done!
As always.
A very interesting video, and he was a great actor but a bit stubborn for not going too a doctor in time, hope hi gets well again..
Lovely. Thank you.
My favorite movie was The man who broke 1000 chains..
Willow is a must see movie. If you like movies.
Should have received Oscar for 1993, Thombstone . He also did great in 1992, Thunderheart.
Spent a lot of time on the ranch with Roy Rogers.
Ben Johnson's dad was a ranch foreman.
Slim Pickens was a rancher and rodeo cowboy.
Seems to be a pattern.
Hi Jerry, we enjoy your videos, can you do a segment about this actor Paul Michael Kelly, born August 9, 1899 and died on 1956. He had a very interested life and tragedy too.
Thanks
Mariah T.
Yes sir and an Attaboy❤
Very entertaining Jerry. Thanks for the upload. However, I believe his characters name in Top Gun was "Iceman" not "Assman".
thanks Jerry.
A great Billy The Kid
bet he regretted not getting treatment
it was a good movie 😞
💕
Just fantastic, always a treat to catch up with you.
Cher....pretty cool.
He really does have that badass demeanor but not like Steve McQueen where he's almost too cool if that makes sense. Seeing him him in Maverick like that choked me up. :/
Sad have brothers and sisters argue over father and mothers estate
I always liked Val. Hope he stays in remission.!
I like your last name. Skinners are winners😊

Old school valedictorian work ethic. As long as you can move, work!
It appears Jerry Skinner cannot reply to all your comments......😂
Mr Skinner is a one man show with hundreds 💯 upon hundreds of comments.....
I don't know why everyone that does any kind of a doc on Kilmer they never mention when he did "A Man who broke a thousands chains." Or the one he did with Tommy Lee Jones as a calvery officer.
