@@mervenurr2023 it's based on college life romance where a popular guy falls in love with a normal girl who gets bullied for her looks and when he finally falls for her, it turns out she has leukemia and everything that he does for her to make her happy with whatever little amount of time she has, even marries her and then she dies after few months

Ahhh the last scene of Pride and Prejudice : the perfect ending of alllll time !!! The music, the atmosphere, this version of Jane Austen Book is absolutely a masterpiece : ohhhhI would love to be Lizzie Bennet !!! Matthew Macfaden is the perfect M. Darcy. This scene and the other when he declared the very first time his love to Lizzie when it’s raining !!! Gosh I saw maybe 15 times Prixe and prejudice : it’s the perfect love/passion romance!!!

Most ppl think they're immersing themselves in the characters' lovestruck POV and that it was rlly sweet. For me I think it's really sweet too but I'm simultaneously indulging, imagining but also detaching myself from the whole thing. A tiny part of my instinct is just snorting at how cliche things are 😂

One of my favourite favourites, The Note Book,,,,, It still isnt over,,,, xx
for me "One Day" is actually the best romance movie I've ener seen (and trust me I have watched almost every single one of them). Every time I watch it my heart begins to hurt. It is so realistic, the love between Dexter and Emma is so pure, unique and the movie shows a love story I imagine experiencing (begins from a friendship to something complicated and hard to define, stops after a little bit and then evolves to a lifetime commitment). They are what they call soulmates. No matter in which life-phase the two characters are, they love each other and they think about each other. The viewer can actually feel this love. This movie fills me with so many emotions. I could never imagine that a movie could have such a huge impact to me. No matter how many times I watch it I always cry.

Here is my romantic story: I started to play the bassoon in my 7th grade band elective whereas my future boyfriend played the trumpet. At our concert, I asked him if we could talk privately to him. The kitchen dancing scene and the final scene in the rain in “The Bridges Of Madison County.” Meryl and Clint were exquisite together. It was also their unexpected pairing that worked so perfectly. If you didn’t sob during that final scene…😢

Pride & Prejudice 2005 has to be one of my all-time favourite movies. I am not big on romance but I LOVE that scene.
How Darcy WALKS to her home at the break of dawn when he very well could've taken a carriage soon after discovering Elizabeth didn’t deny to his aunt she wouldn't refuse a proposal from him. How Lizzie was restless after she had come to the realization her feelings for Darcy had changed and she was in love with him. The way her expression oh so subtlely changes as she realises the figure approaching through the fog is not a figment of her imagination and it is really him. The way the fog fades as Darcy gets closer to her. The way he stutters as he is unable to fully express the magnitude of his feelings when he once again puts it all on the line and confesses his love. The way Elizabeth accepts his proposal by stepping towards him, caressing his hand, tenderly kissing it and saying "your hands are cold" (the saying, "cold hands, warm heart" comes to mind) as the sun rises in the background illuminating them both making it appear as if they are one entity. And the contrast between the dark gloom prior to his declaration to the bright warmth of the sun as they embrace. All the symbolism with the hands, atmosphere, lighting etc. just UGH! This fucking scene, man 😭😭😭

YES. This is why that's one of my favorite book adaptations, ever. That mood isn't in the book and the scene in the rain doesn't exist, but somehow Joe Wright found a way to convey all the sentiment of the book with his imagery. It's just... so visually stunning you can't help but fall in love with them yourself.

Pride and Prejudice should have at least been #2. Beautiful landscape, great empowering movie for strong girls that don’t need to be rescued and ridiculous chemistry. The score/ music makes a romantic theme even better.❤️❤️

No one "deserves" to be loved. That's not how this works. Look at all the repeat cheaters and beaters that have someone, the serial killer couples, none of them are good or deserving. But love like grass does grow best where you water it.
I think all these single people come from a generation being feed the lie everything is too much work. So now if it's not perfect fulfilling every fantasy most guys run because what looks like a chance at a relationship, looks to guys like responsibility. Men are also willingly single due to no judgement against them for it. Women tend to cling to ideas of love and romance due to society pushing it like with these movies. Also by tying it to women's self worth, is she desirable? On the up side women in relationships have a legion of problems, a single woman basically one, that she has no man.
Bc we have exceedingly high expectations that have been cultivated from (unrealistic) fictional works of books and film.

I’ve not seen half of these movies. I do find it interesting that Kiera knightly version is the one talked about most on pride and prejudice. I prefer either the 1980 version with Elizabeth Garvie or Colin Firth. Though this scene is really sweet in the Knightley version.

tragedies are my fav whether that's me before you, titanic , the fault in our stars, a walk to remember....the whole concept of keeping that love alive even when you dont get the happy ending coz love is beyond life and death is so hauntingly beautiful!....these movies are sooo memorable❤😭

Pride & Prejudice is my all-time favorite romance movie. I also really love A Walk To Remember, The Notebook, and Notting Hill. I also really love the live action of Cinderella. It was really well made. I still haven't watched Love, Rosie. I'm not sure if it's still on Netflix. It sounds like a very good movie. I'm a sucker for the best friends to lovers trope. It's one of the best.

OMG, Rosie's been pining for Alex for ages since high school but every time something good should happen it's misery after misery for Rosie
I read the book when it was released (Cecilia Ahern who wrote PS I Love You, cry me a river book & movie) and I believed she made Alex come to Rosie just bec she pitied the readers' meltdown if it hadn't been that way
It's a must watch and def cried your eyes out
Tho as usual the movie is tamer than the book in term of the sad grueling parts

You know another favourite love scene that I love is the wedding scene in Me before You, it's so adorable and romantic
love rosie is such a perfect little love story 🥺 it’ll always have a place in my heart bc it’s one of the few newer romance movies that feel genuine and authentic. Like you know they’re not 80s n 90s romcom, the movie is modern yet gives that feeling of when you watch a classic, something I rarely feel watching newer romance these days.
P/s: Me before you should be on the list too, Will’s letter is forever heart breaking yet warm and loving

I use to Wonder what love was all about and in my late forties I've found I fell in love for the 1st time in my life That was over 20 years ago I lost him last year, he died. I don't think I'll ever feel anything like that again with anyone else. Someone might tell me that I could fall in love again but I don't think it'd be the same. That was something too special, that emotion so strong so overwhelming and deep it actually becomes everything. I miss you John.
