I agree with many of these, but I’d add When Harry Met Sally. It has the most romantic line in a movie ever, “I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”
The end scene of Officer and a Gentleman when Richard Gere walks into the factory and scoops up Debra Winger. No words are spoken, no words are needed❤

Ahhh the last scene of Pride and Prejudice : the perfect ending of alllll time !!! The music, the atmosphere, this version of Jane Austen Book is absolutely a masterpiece : ohhhhI would love to be Lizzie Bennet !!! Matthew Macfaden is the perfect M. Darcy. This scene and the other when he declared the very first time his love to Lizzie when it’s raining !!! Gosh I saw maybe 15 times Prixe and prejudice : it’s the perfect love/passion romance!!!
Ahhh like Jane Austen trotted out of her cottage in Chawton and was run over by Mills & Boon in their big barouche box and bodacious literary talent. "Your hands are cold! Swoon!
Also “One Day” is my go-to movie when I feel like I need a good cry. Even the few notes you hear of the soundtrack when you first click play gets me teary eyed.
Margaret Peterson j have seen both versions and I think Mathew Macfadeyn is the better of the two....Colin Firths is a wonderful actor, but Mathew made my heart ache 💔
- I' m sorry she never got her miracle. - She did get her miracle, Landon, her miracle was you. *Nicholas Sparks, A walk to remember* Lie down, try not to cry, cry a lot 😭😭😭💔💔💔
Clint Eastwood standing in the rain looking into the car at Meryl Streep in the Bridges of Madison County is the most heart wrenching moment i have ever seen in a movie.
Meryl Streep has her hand on the car door handle, so we think maybe she will jump out of the car at the traffic light to go and be with Clint Eastwood. But we know she won"t. A very powerful scene.
Here is my romantic story: I started to play the bassoon in my 7th grade band elective whereas my future boyfriend played the trumpet. At our concert, I asked him if we could talk privately to him. I told him I liked him, and without saying a word, he kissed me! I am now a bassoon player who dates a trumpet player. Story of my life :D
So happy for you!❤you are so lucky finding love so soon in your life!i guess it's everyone's wish.it was mine at least...bravo for having the courage to talk about your feelings.
I ask my flue friend player to tell my crush I liked him and he was like ok a few days later I get text from my trumpet player cousin and my crush wants my number. We started dating and broke up a week ago. We dated for 2 months in 7th grade and he was also a trumpet player.
In Notting Hill, but nothing to do with Hugh Grant or Julia Roberts. It occurs after a dinner party at a friend of Hugh Grant's. The woman is paralyzed, and in a wheelchair. When she wants to go upstairs to go to bed, her husband effortlessly scoops her up in his arms, and carries her upstairs. Just the ease and familiarity with which he does this, makes it obvious that he has done this many times before. It is second nature to him, and it shows how much he loves his wife. This small scene meant more to me than the largely silly, rambling, rest of the movie. Hugh and Julia stumble and are awkward around each other. The more mature, married couple know for certain what love is. I have many more romantic movie favourites, but I wanted to write about this small scene in a big movie, because it is so well acted, and so meaningful.
I agree on a few of yours for sure. I would add the other scene from Love Actually when Colin Firth is in the restaurant trying to speak Portuguese, telling the maid he loves her.
Age 77 and still get tears in my eyes. I too had a once in a life time love... I would have added a few other movies such as "Falling in Love" and "Bridges of Madison County"
THE NOTEBOOK. A wonderful story. So glad you chose it. I haven't seen many of those other movies. I am older and know more older classics, but my whole family loved THE NOTEBOOK. And someone mentioned SOUND OF MUSIC--a great true love story.
The Real Simpson's Vlogs I think they were together not too long ago. About a year ago they went on a vacation together. I saw pictures of them. I saw her interviewed saying she always loved him.
The Real Simpson's Vlogs me also....I always think that deep down ( maybe wishful thinking ) Leo is in love with Kate and that is why he doesn’t settle down. My heart ache watching that scene 💔Also, A walk to Remember and Pride and Prejudice 😭
While both versions of Pride & Prejudice will always be #1 for me the next one on the list is the Last of the Mohicans - when Nathaniel tells Cora - "you survive no matter what, and I will find you!!" - then him going after her with that background music!!! Be still my heart.
When ur single but hoping one day someone will love u. Yep me but I'm ok. I enjoy watching couples together while sitting alone. Okay sounding sort of dramatic.

A walk to remember was enough to make me cry and I never cry at movies. This was one of the most beautiful movies that i have ever seen in my entire life

tragedies are my fav whether that's me before you, titanic , the fault in our stars, a walk to remember....the whole concept of keeping that love alive even when you dont get the happy ending coz love is beyond life and death is so hauntingly beautiful!....these movies are sooo memorable❤😭
Pride & Prejudice 2005 has to be one of my all-time favourite movies. I am not big on romance but I LOVE that scene. How Darcy WALKS to her home at the break of dawn when he very well could've taken a carriage soon after discovering Elizabeth didn’t deny to his aunt she wouldn't refuse a proposal from him. How Lizzie was restless after she had come to the realization her feelings for Darcy had changed and she was in love with him. The way her expression oh so subtlely changes as she realises the figure approaching through the fog is not a figment of her imagination and it is really him. The way the fog fades as Darcy gets closer to her. The way he stutters as he is unable to fully express the magnitude of his feelings when he once again puts it all on the line and confesses his love. The way Elizabeth accepts his proposal by stepping towards him, caressing his hand, tenderly kissing it and saying "your hands are cold" (the saying, "cold hands, warm heart" comes to mind) as the sun rises in the background illuminating them both making it appear as if they are one entity. And the contrast between the dark gloom prior to his declaration to the bright warmth of the sun as they embrace. All the symbolism with the hands, atmosphere, lighting etc. just UGH! This fucking scene, man 😭😭😭
YES. This is why that's one of my favorite book adaptations, ever. That mood isn't in the book and the scene in the rain doesn't exist, but somehow Joe Wright found a way to convey all the sentiment of the book with his imagery. It's just... so visually stunning you can't help but fall in love with them yourself.

Guys, tomorrow I'll tell my crush how much I like him, and I'm freaking out. If someone's reading this, I hope you find true love, true friends and live a happy life.

Pride and Predjudice was #5???? Hell no! That scene IS THE MOST ROMANTIC SCENE IN ANY MOVIE!!! its breathtaking. My favorite of all time! There is no better more romantic scene than that scene. It is perfection
for me "One Day" is actually the best romance movie I've ener seen (and trust me I have watched almost every single one of them). Every time I watch it my heart begins to hurt. It is so realistic, the love between Dexter and Emma is so pure, unique and the movie shows a love story I imagine experiencing (begins from a friendship to something complicated and hard to define, stops after a little bit and then evolves to a lifetime commitment). They are what they call soulmates. No matter in which life-phase the two characters are, they love each other and they think about each other. The viewer can actually feel this love. This movie fills me with so many emotions. I could never imagine that a movie could have such a huge impact to me. No matter how many times I watch it I always cry.
Pride and Prejudice should have at least been #2. Beautiful landscape, great empowering movie for strong girls that don’t need to be rescued and ridiculous chemistry. The score/ music makes a romantic theme even better.❤️❤️
I was just trying to like your comment. The only version I’ve not liked is the Laurence Olivier version of pride and prejudice. The sad thing is I’ve always been told by the older generation it’s the best. The movie didn’t follow the book at all. That alone made me not like it at all.
Usually I'm mad when film adaptations of books aren't 100% accurate but damn am I glad they let Rosie and Alex get together a lot earlier than in the books and actually live their life together.
Great top. I would chose Jerry Maguire too. One of the most romantic movies for me. Try the scene where she says '' You had me at hello''. One day is my favorite book of all time. Yes, it's a devastating story but it's about a mature relationship... with more chances of being real. Love the chemistry between Jim and Anne, the 2024 series even though I loved it we' re not so faithful to the book original.
To me, no scene can beat the way Ennis put his shirt above of Jack’s denim one in Brokeback Moutain, though there’s no Jake Gyllenhaal there, it crashes my heart all the time but I keep on coming back over and over againT.T
Titanic is my favorite. Makes me cry everytime I watch it. I fall in love with all of the characters every time I watch it too. The music also beats all of the other movies in this list.
These aren't necessarily romantic movies but I believe that the scenes were very romantic. 1. Quigley Down Under - When he is riding off and at the top of the hill he stops and looks back. May have to watch the whole movie to understand just how romantic this was. 2. An Officer and A Gentleman - When Zack goes into the factory and carries out Paula. 3. In the movie "Forest Gump" when Forest is describing to Jenny how beautiful things were when he was running, and she says, "I wish I could have been there with you." And he simply says, "You were." As a man I believe these were very romantic.
To have The Phantom of the Opera on your list, and have Point of No Return as your favorite scene from it brings so much joy to my heart. It’s one of the most romantic and suspenseful scenes ever created in my opinion and still gives me shivers every time I listen to the song. 🖤🥀

Luna P YOU NEED TO WATCH IT ASAP! It’s so beautiful and the wedding scene made me ball my eyes out it was amazing
Matte Girl It's towards the end of the movie, one of the main character's cousins was getting married
Luna P it's a really feel-good movie, and the wedding scene was honestly cinematic gold! I think it's still in cinemas
You are so right ....Mr D'Arcy and the morning dew....swooning
Ahhh like Jane Austen trotted out of her cottage in Chawton and was run over by Mills & Boon in their big barouche box and bodacious literary talent. "Your hands are cold! Swoon!
Caught my heart. “I realize that no matter where you are, or what you doing, or who you with, I will alway honestly truly completely love you “
Hi PERFFECT
Matthew Macfadyen walking through a misty field is one of the most majestic scenes to ever exists in a movie
Also “One Day” is my go-to movie when I feel like I need a good cry. Even the few notes you hear of the soundtrack when you first click play gets me teary eyed.
I'm sorry, but I beg to differ on this one. Surely, Colin Firth's Mr Darcy is by far the most outstanding and convincing in this roll:)
Omg I just posted something about the way he came striding across that field that was so hot! 🔥🔥
Margaret Peterson j have seen both versions and I think Mathew Macfadeyn is the better of the two....Colin Firths is a wonderful actor, but Mathew made my heart ache 💔
also the choice of music soundtrack while he is walking is PERFECT
- I' m sorry she never got her miracle.
- She did get her miracle, Landon, her miracle was you.

UGH PRIDE AND PREJUDICE ‼️‼️‼️‼️❤️😩 “you have bewitched me body and soul”
I agree, it's the best movie 😍
Best scene everrrrr 😩 Mr Darcy 😍
Agree it was perfect and I've thought of it many times
On my very frequent rotation! “And I L, I L, I love you.”
TV series was so much better. Colin Firth.
the speech off Rosie will always have a special place in my heart , she reminds me of myself
WOW
Okay first, I want Cinderellas waist.
Second, I want her hair.
And third, I want her goddamn prince.
Edit: Lol, thanks for the likes😂
Siz Clifford same 😂
Scrap the third option, I want her godam collar bones
It’s not her real waist lol it’s a corset. Personally I think her corset is WAY too tight, she looks very unnatural like some kinda cartoon character
Lily James is the most beautiful woman period
Don’t be envious be thankful for what the good Lord gave you
Clint Eastwood standing in the rain looking into the car at Meryl Streep in the Bridges of Madison County is the most heart wrenching moment i have ever seen in a movie.
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Oh for sure, great movie.
Yep that scene traumatized me and I’ve never recovered 😩 ….didn’t make the cut on this list but it should have
Meryl Streep has her hand on the car door handle, so we think maybe she will jump out of the car at the traffic light to go and be with Clint Eastwood. But we know she won"t. A very powerful scene.
Absolutely, I was screaming for her to open that car door.
Awww! I wish you and you trumpet bf the best! :D 🎺💗
Still?
How is your ensemble going now?
Wow...what planet did you come from? Amazing words...amazing heart...I wish you much joy and happiness for the rest of your days...Kindly, Bev~~
Finally someone acknowledge One day! You all need to see the movie if you haven't, and I highly recommend the book too!
It's background score just makes you feel the love and sadness at the same time...
A MS book is amazing!! I cried so bad !
I love that movie , I cry every time
Yes, finally. I loved this movie, very underrated love story.
The soundtrack, the story, the acting, THE ENDING!! THIS WHOLE MOVIE MAKES AND BREAKS MY HEART.
I agree on a few of yours for sure. I would add the other scene from Love Actually when Colin Firth is in the restaurant trying to speak Portuguese, telling the maid he loves her.

oooo Bridges of Madison County....when they are at the light, in each of their vehicles....just waiting. I cry from the empty lost love, everytime!
Falling in Love with Meryl Streep and Robert De Niro that was soul destroying 😢
@@sundaynightdinnerswithdebo945Me, too!!!! I recently read the book and the follow-up or sequel JUST about Clint’s character. Realllly good❤❤❤
My 2 two favourite movies ♥️
The letter and kiss scene in Persuasion also gets me every time. Jane Austen knew how to write about love for sure!
That’s good
So many beautiful scenes here. Phantom is my favorite musical. 💖🖤💖. Well done
Can we just appreciate that Keira Knightley is in 2 of these movies she is one of the best actresses ever I actually love her 😍😍
You are so right!!she is really talented!!
Jamie Dornans ex. She is amazing Kieran Knightley

Thank you so much!
That is by far my favorite rendition of Pride and Prejudice. I get butterflies every time I watch that scene
Colin Firth version
THE NOTEBOOK. A wonderful story. So glad you chose it. I haven't seen many of those other movies. I am older and know more older classics, but my whole family loved THE NOTEBOOK. And someone mentioned SOUND OF MUSIC--a great true love story.
I sometimes ask myself like *"do you really need a girlfriend?"*
The fact that I'm here answers the question,I do.
You need love, first of all. We all need love.
Got one yet???
I can be her yes I am that desperate
Hahah, how about now
Felt that one
Jack and Rose they had a real love for each other on and off screen I always wanted them to be togther in real life.
The Real Simpson's Vlogs I think they were together not too long ago. About a year ago they went on a vacation together. I saw pictures of them. I saw her interviewed saying she always loved him.
yeah I saw that too but she is married to some other guy still Leo did an interview and he said she was his favorite actress❤️
Natalie Gatto they’re just good friends
The Real Simpson's Vlogs me also....I always think that deep down ( maybe wishful thinking ) Leo is in love with Kate and that is why he doesn’t settle down. My heart ache watching that scene 💔Also, A walk to Remember and Pride and Prejudice 😭
Yes omg
The thorn birds, oh my god... *cries in vintage*
The most romantic scene ever. Then he leaves her...
Also what about the last scene in Notting Hill. I love it
The most beautiful series ever….
I still think of “The Thorn Birds” I grieved for a long time over that movie.
While both versions of Pride & Prejudice will always be #1 for me the next one on the list is the Last of the Mohicans - when Nathaniel tells Cora - "you survive no matter what, and I will find you!!" - then him going after her with that background music!!! Be still my heart.
Ugh....Daniel day Lewis..
Mr Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet are the the top romantic couple in literature....
I'm talking about characters not actors.

Dirty Dancing is romantic too. Swayze was amazing. Tender and masculine. ❤

Great collection! Pride and Prejudice will always be my favorite. Such modern historic realistic deep hidden love. And the soundtrack to the movie is very beautiful.
"I will always love you"
1 min paus of silence and pain
"Like a sister loves a brother"
And the face of the bride tho 💀😂 she didn’t even clink her glass with him 😂😂😂
The most romantic for me will probably always be when Darcy returns to Lizzie.
And the most heartbreaking one is when he meets her in the rain.
P & P has my heart. No other film comes close, ALTHOUGH Love, Rosie is an absolute delight.
A walk to remember was enough to make me cry and I never cry at movies. This was one of the most beautiful movies that i have ever seen in my entire life

@Lukas Ing ironically, yes. I know the series hasn't aged well in some ways, but it is really heartfelt.
Mr. Darcy: “You have bewitched me body and soul and I love I love I love you”

Who can in general reject Colin Firth, in any role? ))
My favorite moment of all the books and all the movies I've ever read and watched. My goodness, how my heart just melts every single goddamn time.

The fault in our stars my daughter and I saw in the movies we were balling 😭
Wow this beautifully said
You should include the movie Notting Hill.. when julia roberts said: "I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.":)
I wholeheartedly agree
Ohh my heart.. i love that scene too 😍
Damn! I could hear Harry Style complaining about always being Julia Roberts before he said these lines 😂😂😂😂
Omg that scene is the best😍
Wonderful!!!line it was....
I was carried away by her acting and I too fell in love with Hugh Grant from that day...I ever watched the film.
All the symbolism with the hands, atmosphere, lighting etc. just UGH! This fucking scene, man 😭😭😭
YASSSSSSSSSSS!
WOOOOOW THE PASSION AND DEDICATION!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Yes! It's elements like this scene which will always make me love the movie over the miniseries adaption!
Yass
Notebook absolutely is the number one! Thanks for the editing.

One of my favourite favourites, The Note Book,,,,, It still isnt over,,,, xx
for me "One Day" is actually the best romance movie I've ener seen (and trust me I have watched almost every single one of them). No matter how many times I watch it I always cry.
oh yes i have loved that movie to bits!!!
Why didn't Darcy just get a move on and kiss Lizzie senseless ❤❤❤❤
I think it's the most special movie I've watched in my whole life. I love it. It hurts deep inside
It is the realism that makes it the best. Usually romance movies are a little far away from reality
Pride and Prejudice should have at least been #2. Beautiful landscape, great empowering movie for strong girls that don’t need to be rescued and ridiculous chemistry. The score/ music makes a romantic theme even better.❤️❤️
Hi If i may, I really dont think there are numbers. Its all just pure LOVE
El fantasma de la opera,el punto sin retorno, maravillosa escena ,cancion, interpretes, musical, notable!!!❤❤
I can tell that every BBC movie, made by Jane Austen's novels have the same effect on a watcher. They all are full of beautiful romantic moments.
I was just trying to like your comment. The only version I’ve not liked is the Laurence Olivier version of pride and prejudice. The sad thing is I’ve always been told by the older generation it’s the best. The movie didn’t follow the book at all. That alone made me not like it at all.
@@autumntrautman6780 :))) Of course, I wrote this only by the films I watched :))

City of Angels has one of my favorite love scenes. How they talked to eachother and the passion between them. I found that movie very intense.
Same here. I watched it a long time ago…but it comes to my mind whenever I think of love.
I love that movie, I loved Seth & Maggie 💙🩷💜
One of my fave movies of all time
The dance scene in the horse whisperer was so awesome!!
Great choice!
3. In the movie "Forest Gump" when Forest is describing to Jenny how beautiful things were when he was running, and she says, "I wish I could have been there with you." And he simply says, "You were."
As a man I believe these were very romantic.
You got it right
