you really misinterpret the boot time comparison of both devices coz that is not based on how fast or slow the device is but it is based on the boot time scheduling
I got the s23 ultra coming from the s22 ultra and I have to say, the s23 is just a monster 👻 it absolutely demolishes every task I throw at it without a hiccup to be seen. I regularly use double and triple screen multitasking (which the Iphone cannot do) and it just eats it up. Nice job on the comparison and I think you're right. It all depends on which ecosystem you're more involved in. The s23 is the better phone, but if you have an Apple watch and an iPad then get the iPhone. It is an apple bench the last time iphone was ahead of 300pta on multi and just randomly bumped up in scores like 1500+ randomly so that's literally why people say it's apple bench
In terms of Premium phones, Apple leads, it's no use. Now joining Samsung's basic cell phones is another story. Apple: durability for years, physical resistance, finish of the apps (something that all brands try but can't), Premium interface, no bugs over the years, unlike other brands mentioned that are known to present bugs after a few months. Apple is Apple.
So I’m a bit lost here..when I did my last test on Geekbench 5 it said my 13 PM single core was like 1777 or something like that but when I do it on Geekbench 6 the single core jumped to 2244 and my multi core a whopping 5387….why is there such a big jump on this newer app vs the older one can anyone explain this to me???
Honestly I think it’s GeekBench being sly they want to appeal to iOS so they “adjusted” their scoring system. Because the SD 8G2 has definitely caught up with the A series of chips
I envy this phone! The S23. But looking back, I am leaning towards the S20 regular more than the S23. S23 has this minimalist design which I really like but I don't know if I would daily drive a FHD+ phone. All of my Samsung's owned/daily driven in the past were S6 Edge, S8, Note 8 and they have QHD display where I instantly get used to.
So you do know the A15 is two years old. This 14 is basically the base 13 with a better camera. This Samsung is two models newer with all new internals and its barely keeping up with technically two year old tech. Look at the geek bench run, the Samsung choked doing that imagine if real work was thrown at it like exporting 4k video? Opening apps mean nothing especially when there are lower hard drive capacity devices being compared. Smaller hard drives typically read slower than larger capacity ones which will determine how fast apps open not the processor.
Yes, if you are after an iPhone, there is no point in buying the 14 now. Wait for the newly designed 15-line with the delayed new GPU upgrade and for the Pros, the 3nm chip. It will also get faster RAM and the latest storage upgrades. The best time to buy a Samsung is now, as next year they are not using the 3nm due to the much higher cost (probably why Apple will not use the A17 in the base iPhones). So 2025 before S25 get the 3nm. That means the iPhone will sneak ahead of the S23 line in September. But it finally means that there are nominal differences with chips now that Qualcomm dumped Samsung Fabs. Qualcomm has no intent to use Samsung until at least 2025, which is great for Android users.
Big notch and boxi design and that 2 big camera and apple logo that's is brand value of apple every one can guess see that's is apple buy seeing that 3 things in device 🔥
Both are nice but I prefer Samsung for the customization and brighter screen. Benchmarks don't tell the whole story anymore. iPhones are ahead on benchmarks but day to day the phones are both fast. The main thing is Apple in my opinion cheated their customers by putting last year's chip and not giving it the dynamic island notch. With Samsung you aren't missing out on much by going with the regular s23. I find myself bored with iPhone because they don't really innovative anymore and it's clear they don't want to give their customers value for their money. It's just a lazy repeat of last year.
thats not it with the benchmark. now i have botten even more confused about geekbench not being true some phones score much hgigher than before and some dont get that big of a increse. test 3dmark instead its more accurate
Samsung has the Next generation chipset and more RAM The only reason this comparison works because of the pricing of the phone from apple which is in the higher side
1:45 "look at it which mean slower" 🧐🧐,bruhh have skill issue ... there is something call safety which apple face id have ,its not slower but safety mesure...
@@JohnDoe-lx3vy i can unlock my iphone in the dark at 3am with one eye-opening and the right-half my face is smothered on the pillow. apple's face recognition is unmatched

But guys, let us be honest. How much of us need the 120 hz for a normal using through the hole day. I activate energy optimization on S21 plus because the battery is really worst...I go with iphone 14 after years and years of using Android...bye android
Iphone is literally using last year's chip. Apple knows that iphone users will unknowingly still buy while paying a premium price. Iphone is a great phone, but so many ways they gip the consumer. Older design 60 hz Lightening transfer speeds as opposed to USB c Older processor (still great one though)
This year is the first time i didn’t want the iPhone, the 14 is really bad value and is so similar to the 13 it’s pointless, I switched to Samsung and the OS is very easy to get used to and it’s an absolute beast, it’s also nice not to have a notch or island
Okay so my opinion is I actually like apple more mainly because of the gaming chip it have inside. The game graphics just looks smoother with the shadows and stuff witch the Samsung doesent provide except with games that has it installed automatically but if u saw in temple run the iPhone had like better shadows than the samsung 🔒

Apple: durability for years, physical resistance, finish of the apps (something that all brands try but can't), Premium interface, no bugs over the years, unlike other brands mentioned that are known to present bugs after a few months. Apple is Apple.
Apple phones are no more premium than any other flagship. I have an iPhone and I can tell you it is much more buggy than my Samsung tab.
@@jw2862 don't lie
I received mine s23 few days ago and it feels better than s22
lol wow that's shocking !
7:43 did the iphone stutter??
Every phone stutters
@@MrFireFC I know mate. Was a joke. Iphone sheeps have always claimed their phones don't stutter.
Loving the s23
So I’m a bit lost here..when I did my last test on Geekbench 5 it said my 13 PM single core was like 1777 or something like that but when I do it on Geekbench 6 the single core jumped to 2244 and my multi core a whopping 5387….why is there such a big jump on this newer app vs the older one can anyone explain this to me???
Honestly I think it’s GeekBench being sly they want to appeal to iOS so they “adjusted” their scoring system. Because the SD 8G2 has definitely caught up with the A series of chips
@@allenmobley8444 Autism.
yeah .but their timing to update seems sus
cant wait for thr s23 vs s22
iphone still has that DYNAMIC NOTCH forever and no 120 hz🤣🤣
I envy this phone! The S23. But looking back, I am leaning towards the S20 regular more than the S23. S23 has this minimalist design which I really like but I don't know if I would daily drive a FHD+ phone. All of my Samsung's owned/daily driven in the past were S6 Edge, S8, Note 8 and they have QHD display where I instantly get used to.
You do not the difference on a 6.1" screen. It has a high dpi...
Do not get the S20 regular. The worst phone ive had imo. The battery life was awful and i was experiencing lag just a week into use.
@@Elite12Pivot did you get the exynos or snapdragon variant
The S23 is a much better phone than the S20 in all aspects, please dont
the battery is horrible man, dont get the s20.
Love your content nick love from india🇮🇳
@Nick-ackerman then introduce nick 😘
I own 14 but really impressed with Samsung
Qualcomm has no intent to use Samsung until at least 2025, which is great for Android users.
iphone 15 will still have 60hz
Big notch and boxi design and that 2 big camera and apple logo that's is brand value of apple every one can guess see that's is apple buy seeing that 3 things in device 🔥
I’m thinking, if your a mobile gamer, you’ll probably be more interested in a gaming phone.
You can disable the Security feature of looking at your iPhone to unlock it
I like how you’re slowly accepting Samsung as your leader lol joins Nick, join us
I guess this is what all have been waiting for
1:56 Ehm man kann das in den Einstellungen ändern. Aus Sicherheitsgründen KANN man das so einstellen, dass man reinschauen muss.
@Benjamin Jagun apparently the target audience for iPhone are suckers willing to pay $1000 for the same phone lol 🤣
@Benjamin Jagun again I say suckers lol 😆
To me I might have to go iPhone in this example. The PWM here is very apparent on the Samsung and my eyes struggle bad
Owning a iPhone 14 but love both the phones
On my S23+ using Geekbench 6 I got single core score 1982 and multi core score 5183
had some sort of warning message or something at the top of the s23
Ill give credit where credit is due its a big W for samsung shipping out all s23s with snappdragon
thats not it with the benchmark. now i have botten even more confused about geekbench not being true some phones score much hgigher than before and some dont get that big of a increse. test 3dmark instead its more accurate
lets see what samsung can do with the s24,then i will jump from iphone 12 to s24 if they keep improving the s24 like what they did to s23
Samsung has the Next generation chipset and more RAM
The only reason this comparison works because of the pricing of the phone from apple which is in the higher side
1:45 "look at it which mean slower" 🧐🧐,bruhh have skill issue ...
there is something call safety which apple face id have ,its not slower but safety mesure...
Galaxy user here, i disagree. face ID unlocks faster than fingerprint. Use raise to wake, just swipe up.
I have used both and it is not true. Face Id can fail sometimes as well. Fingerprints are much better
@@JohnDoe-lx3vy I have both, it is true. You just didn’t set it up correctly.
@@herewegoagain7403 No. Correctly set up. Just not 100% reliable for everyone
@@JohnDoe-lx3vy i can unlock my iphone in the dark at 3am with one eye-opening and the right-half my face is smothered on the pillow. apple's face recognition is unmatched
@HereWeGoAgain Face ID still requires you to press the power button
The new king of phones s23 !!!
I Don't call this objective. 2 phones who are close in terms of performance, but I seem to look at a Samsung sponsored show. That's ok. Just not objective for me.
Watching this video off my sky blue S23 Ultra.
But guys, let us be honest. How much of us need the 120 hz for a normal using through the hole day. I activate energy optimization on S21 plus because the battery is really worst...I go with iphone 14 after years and years of using Android...bye android
Why on iPhone always look everything smother ? 60hz on iPhones is the same as android phones with 90-120hz 🤷🏻♂️
PLEASEE COULD YOU ALSO DO IPHONE 13 vs s23
No need to do a comparison between the s23 and the 13 , for the 13 is the 14 other the the upgraded camera!
dk why Google is faster in all Android flagships than the iphone ?
Iphone is literally using last year's chip. Apple knows that iphone users will unknowingly still buy while paying a premium price.
Iphone is a great phone, but so many ways they gip the consumer.
Older design
60 hz
Lightening transfer speeds as opposed to USB c
Older processor (still great one though)
But don’t forget you’re comparing last years iPhone with the new galaxy flagship
Oh my, S23❤️
This year is the first time i didn’t want the iPhone, the 14 is really bad value and is so similar to the 13 it’s pointless, I switched to Samsung and the OS is very easy to get used to and it’s an absolute beast, it’s also nice not to have a notch or island
Samsung s23 is my dream phone
Apple is better on paper but since their iphones are capped at 60hz, it aint worth it
Samsung takes the win with this
Okay so my opinion is I actually like apple more mainly because of the gaming chip it have inside. The game graphics just looks smoother with the shadows and stuff witch the Samsung doesent provide except with games that has it installed automatically but if u saw in temple run the iPhone had like better shadows than the samsung 🔒
For me it's the best honest review of this channel
Why would you unlock your phone without looking at it. You are gonna use it and for that you have to look
I knew it from the beginning android only needed a storage unit such as UFS 4.0 and the throne of Apple would end with NVME and excellent cpu such as the A15 and A16 welcome Android at number 1 speed galaxy s23 iPhone is better only in GPU faster for gaming.
