It' so sad that apple is still offering 60hz at 800 dollars and there are people still defending it. You can obviously feel the 60 vs 120hz while scrolling on instagram or anything else. It's very prominent and not only a "game" thing.
Because Apple simply makes a loss by not making a profit. Why do you think the updates to the 15 models are so minimal? Produce as cheaply as possible and sell as expensively as possible to compensate for the loss.
They're not really defending it, it's just a cope, brother. Coping is one of the key pillars of being an Apple fan. It can't be the company's fault, this is the way it should be! And Apple enjoys and cultivates this mindset in their users. Remember when the iPhone 4 had awful signal because they designed it poorly and then proceeded to tell their users "oh you're just holding the phone wrong". As long as their fans keep eating it up, they have no reason to stop.
The battery life on the S23 is phenomenal. After hearing the complaints on the S22 about 2 to 3 hours SOT, I decided to wait for the S23 and boy was I blown away. I get on average 6 hours+ on my phone and that includes some light gaming, lots of snapping pictures, online meetings/video calls and continuous web browsing. Doesn’t matter what I do, the phone doesn’t seem to get hot but occasionally warm if it’s prolonged use. Then there’s the display which is phenomenal. I can finally understand what people mean by the word ‘immersive’ when I’m watching movies because it feels like I’m watching everything play out in front of me thanks to the ultra clear display and viewing angles. There is not a single thing ANY iPhone up to date does better than the S23 and if you don’t believe me, put them up head to head and see for yourself
Yeah, I gotta agree with you. The S 23 is the better phone unless you’re in the apple ecosystem and you have an iPad and an Apple Watch and that sort of deal and then the iPhone report better but that he has 23 is definitely nicer phone
The S23 is such a great phone. I completely agree with you about the 8Gen2, I had the S22 and everything improved a lot, battery, performance, brightness. It truly feels like an upgrade. The iPhone 15 looks great and if you have an iPhone 12 or older it's a great improvement. Great video man!
It is not trash....most people won't nit peak a phone that close n if you edit you can control every highlight in adobe lightroom with the 50mp mode....actually the heif format of the iphone is very very bad for editing.... Jpeg, raw n png is alot better... There are 3x optical zoom on the s23... Itis still overall a great phone for the price
Both are good solid phones with their own goods and bads, i would lean slightly more towards the s23 personally but i dont really take too much of an advantage of the best both phones provide so i can basically use either without much issues

Can't be that underrated since Samsung sell more phones than Apple! Maybe Samsung is underrated in America but the rest of the world gets why they are top dog
I'm very glad I chose the S23 256GB variant instead of an iPhone 15. I really like the camera on the S23 and the photos look better than the examples you have shown. Performance is amazing and OneUI after tinkering a bit IS SO GOOD. I would've tried an iPhone 15 but since I have a limited budget, I did not want to be disappointed in my first experience of an iPhone, so I took the safest bet and bought this phone, will be keeping it for at least 3 more years.
I’m an iPhone guy. But the aesthetics of the S23 are much more stylish. The iPhones look cheap and brick-ish. The S23 is classier looking and doesn’t have the dynamic island, which is just a blob on the screen. Why do I stay with iPhones - the syncing between devices works really well, and Airdrop is exceptionally helpful for my needs.
Both great phones but I vote for the S23. The S23 offers way more for the money. Compared more with the Iphone 15 Pro. Hole punch way better than dynamic island. S23 has 3 cameras. The S23 feels much lighter and a bit smaller in the hand.
@autumnxxs Hello mr/Mrs isheep. Samsung cameras are obviously not disgusting if my 12 mpx on z flip 4 are comparable with iPhone 14 cameras ( haven't compared with 15 yet cuz nobody wants it). So logically Samsung phone with way better cameras than my, are gonna be comparable with best iphone cameras, maybe even better. So don't call it disgusting, because Samsung cameras are better than 90% of other phones
Dude you're on point with these comparisons. iPhone 15 lasted a day I couldn't get used to the 60hz and the animations felt slow. That's funny. Hey Mark, can you recommend any apps that perform well on iOS? I upgraded from an iPhone XR to an iPhone 13 but didn't notice much of an improvement. In fact, my secondary phone, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, seems to run apps more smoothly. I've been experiencing issues with several apps not working well on my iPhone.
The iPhone 15 has the ability to send emergency messages via satellite when there’s no cellular connection. This is a great feature for people who go hiking or travel back roads.
Great work Mark. Down to the point and without any bias. Just simple facts and underlying how much of this is subjective nowadays. Keep up the awesome work.

Thank you for making the video, I'been thinking to get a s23 or an iPhone this video has helped me better to decide, I like the quality photos of the iPhones but since you said both phones are good it just depends on what you want in a phone, I feel no matter which one you get both are going to be good choices. Thanks!!
Thanks man. Great video... again! You're the best! I have the S23 Ultra. And i love it. But i do also like the iPhone 15. My bro bought one and i could check how awesome this iPhone is... titanium is 👌. Great photos and great video stabilisation. But i also think that the S23 Ultra is a beast. So... it's a personal taste and decision.
I prefer shadows in mobile phone photography. My pixel overdoes HDR and the photos look pasty and terrible because of this . I guess it all down to personal preference. On my mirror less camera i expose so the shadows are deeper and more contrasty . Out of these 2 devices i prefer the iPhone 15 although the S23 has great zoom. Both seem great devices 👍
In the S23 line of phones if you shoot auto, they all apply this aggressive HDR but you can shoot in Pro Mode from all the cameras and it completely deactivates HDR, it´s like a DSLR image, just a single shot, no edited stacked images. This was not possible in older samsungs because even in pro mode the phone would edit the final image after pressing the shutter. This is not the case for the iPhone because the HDR is part of the ISP, so even shooting in ProRaw the phone will make a stack of images. Even worse, before in the iphone, what you saw in the viewfinder was the final shot, and now after pressing the shutter button and opening the image, after a split second it changes the final look. This happened a lot in my last iPhone 13 PM and I was always very annoyed.
im kinda confused about that button that is below the power button in iphone 15. what is that button? it looks like a camera button but it's not as it came out with the 16. My 15 pro max doesn't have that button can someone explain
After a literal decade of Samsung (the OG S3 user here), I’m done with them. The S22 is the final straw for me. The performance is disgusting, terrible camera, atrocious battery, and lack of polish.
I’m also team caseless. I draw the line at naked screens though. Have to have a screen protector because the screen is what you look at so any scratches will catch your eye.
Mark, thank you for this comparisson, it's very useful for me before buying one of these items. btw, what skin case are you using(white back case)? could you please provide the link for the Samsung one
I think you should go for the ultra. The only determining factor for you should be the size. 22 ultra is big. I prefer compact phones and I have S23 since February 23. But if I had to purchase now, I would indeed be a little conflicted between the two due to the price gap.
I had to have a case with my SS21 because it was honestly too damn slippery naked 😂 I do love this phone but looking too possibly upgrade soon. Love the design of the iphone 15 but not sure yet.
Hello Mark👋. Sorry if this seems like a question so random and personal for you to share (you don't have to share), but I was just wondering what phone you use as your day-to-day driver.

The only problem with s23 and 24 is that Samsung gave the same design to every other phone they make. Once you buy the s23 or 24 and the next day you see a guy who brought a 100 dollar samsung phone flaunt the same design. It hurts. Also resale value is pretty bad. On the iphone side an iphone 15 which is a base model is considered flagship still but on Samsung side only the Ultra is considered flagship
I can't get over how many reviewers treat this comparison as thought it's an entirely free choice. It rarely is. For almost everyone there's sunk cost involved, both in terms of experience (hours and hours spent on an OS) and money (apps purchased, services you need to find a replacement for, etc). Most people won't even consider a switch of OS because despite manufacturer's best attempts, it's still a hassle.
@@blacbraun To be fair, it's not as though that death grip, be it either on the iOS or Android side, doesn't come with its rewards. But that's the point: a phone is not just a phone, it is the center of most people's worlds nowadays.

Just got rid of the screen protector for my S23 Plus, and I am so happy about that! The screen is very durable and the display and vibration feedback have been amazing without the protector!
S23 is a great phone, but I just can get over the photos. Theylook too artificial, too vibrant, esp. sky or grass. I wish they at least offer some more realistic option in the settings; otherwise it is a better phone overall, but this just ruins in for me.

I just bought galaxy s23+, so far I like it. I've been iPhone since original iPhone. So far, the differences i notice. Galaxy is quicker as far as downloading and uploading. Camera is to me is more crisp. I've got 30 days to see more, of course I still have the 15 pro max... just in case
I second what@@jallen312 said. I also bought the S23+ (256 GB) in May after a disappointing year of owning a Galaxy A53, and honestly, it's one of the best phones I've ever had. You get a flagship phone that's a similar size to the iPhone 14 Plus, except you get a tri-camera setup including a 50MP main camera, 10 MP telephoto, and 12 MP ultrawide lens with solid performance. On top of that, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for galaxy SoC runs butter smooth no matter what you throw at it, the phone has a gorgeous 120 Hz AMOLED display, the battery life is honestly awesome, it supports 45W super-fast charging, and the device is guaranteed to get software updates until 2027 and security updates until 2028. I also personally love the endless customization options and the various settings you can optimize to suit your needs in Samsung's OneUI ecosystem. If you want an all-around solid flagship phone to start your Android journey, I can vouch for the S23+.
So Mark do you not utilize a screen protector like do you think these phones are well enough made now a days to use with out one, I know iPhone always tends to get pocket scratches but the Samsung I had years ago never really scratched so just curious what you do personaly.

I was bored last year so I gave Samsung a chance with the S22 Ultra even though I have an iPad and a Mac. I have been dealing with random bugs and then the worst thing happened. The Samsung wouldn’t work while on mobile data more than half the time. It would show it’s connected to 5G but nothing would load. I tried all the troubleshooting until it was suggested that I do a factory reset. I shouldn’t have to do something so drastic just to make the phone do what it should have no problem doing. This all happened during the 15 launch so I preordered a green base model. It’s been working great and no issues with mobile data. I’ll never purchase a Samsung again.
Bought a s23 plus,i traded in my s21 ultra+542£ and got it.i received my s23 plus and i received a gift samsung galaxy watch 5 worth 300£.Now who tell me to choose iphone instead samsung?
Yeah, you broke it down same that i have lately, there's literally no excuse to have a shit phone these days even on a budget. With just some patience, the options for refurbished/used phones online for around 100-150$ is outstanding i'm talking the s20 or s20+, s20 ultra for around 200 bucks you just can't beat that. Even that phone can take those amazing zoomed up moon pictures, 5g and 120hz... literally, its barely lacking much from the s23 ultra and the s20/s20+ isnt lacking much from the s23/s23+ and that's just fact. Me, got a galaxy a54 5g new from Metro earlier this year... under 100 bucks new customers, even CHEAPER for existing customers. And just me but the a54 is literally flawless every experience all in all aside one, high end gaming. But even that it handles great but after about 30min phone is just nearly on fire lol. But aside that and the screen bezzles I'd think it's an s23 easy. But now the s23 FE just came out and metro is throwing it out for the same 100$ deal😪 funny thing is, don't even need it where i don't game all THAT much mobile and so aside that, this a54 is already more than everything i want & need in a phone, every way, every time flawlessly.👌 The only upside to 2023 lol
Bought 15 Pro a few days ago till S24 Ultra is there, I'm not impressed by anything of the phone, be it any, not even the Camera, my 6 times cheaper Realme 9 Pro+ still takes better looking and almost all the time better quality photos, iPhone's photos are always low on colors, saturation and dark. Even in low-light video, for example, I was recording from a flight window and there was nothing visible in iPhone, I had to use my Realme to record it. I'm so unimpressed that I actually asked my collegaues using iPhones that is this how the picture quality is or am I missing some settings in it, for now, I'm still considering iPhone 15 Pro as my secondary phone and I've no use of it, I don't even take it out of my pocket because there's nothing I need it for. My so-so cheap Realme 9 Pro+ is still an overall better phone. I'm not impressed by the battery life or the super slow charging speed either. Also, that scratch thing, even I noticed a similar more-than-a scratch on my iPhone the very 2nd day and I know how delicately I was keeping it, seems like it's a name-sake ceramic. I'm keeping it till the day S24 Ultra is out and till then, iPhone is an investment as I'd sell it for at least 20% more than what I've purchased it for from another country.

Hey some one explain me , when side by side why does .y s23 display look shit, I mean the white colour in iPhone looks like proper white while s23 it looks dimmed. Did I made a mistake buying android
S23 has horrible biometrics so despite the always on display and 120hz, I can't use it as my daily driver. Face unlock is terrible and doesn't work most of the time...that's the price you pay for the punch hole vs all the space Apple uses for FaceID. Under display fingerprint doesn't work well either...so many times I need to try my fingerprint multiple times. And it's even worse if you have a glass screen protector on. FaceID just works 100% of the time all the time. I really wish Samsung would put a fingerprint sensor on one of the side buttons. I really hope this gets better with the S24.
@@xoxoKacey6 Yep, did that. Wiped existing ones and created new ones with the screen protector on. There's also a setting, I think it's called increased touch sensitivity and I played around with that as well. The thing that helped the most was switching from a glass screen protector to more of a film based one that's not as thick and not glass. Still getting unregistered fingerprints too many times. I'll get the S24 when it comes out and see if things have improved.
iPhone wins because it links to other Apple devices, necessary customization only. the battery lasts a day so we can live life better with other people, not just showing off device's new fonts and wallpaper. go live life more, choose Apple.

It' so sad that apple is still offering 60hz at 800 dollars and there are people still defending it. You can obviously feel the 60 vs 120hz while scrolling on instagram or anything else. It's very prominent and not only a "game" thing.
I'm sure the same people will rave about 120Hz once they get a 120Hz iPhone.
Because Apple simply makes a loss by not making a profit. Why do you think the updates to the 15 models are so minimal? Produce as cheaply as possible and sell as expensively as possible to compensate for the loss.
@@Tha-King-Arthur You know that all companies make a loss if they are not making profit, right?
They're not really defending it, it's just a cope, brother. Coping is one of the key pillars of being an Apple fan. It can't be the company's fault, this is the way it should be! And Apple enjoys and cultivates this mindset in their users. S23 is legit so underrated, it is amazing and the iPhone 15 is just a spec in its shadow
Iphone is more aesthetically looking honestly except that island
Both great phones but I vote for the S23. The S23 offers way more for the money. Compared more with the Iphone 15 Pro. Hole punch way better than dynamic island. S23 has 3 cameras. The S23 feels much lighter and a bit smaller in the hand.

So... it's a personal taste and decision.
Did I miss which photo belongs to which camera in comparison?? It's not labelled.

For almost everyone there's sunk cost involved, both in terms of experience (hours and hours spent on an OS) and money (apps purchased, services you need to find a replacement for, etc). Most people won't even consider a switch of OS because despite manufacturer's best attempts, it's still a hassle.

I'm keeping it till the day S24 Ultra is out and till then, iPhone is an investment as I'd sell it for at least 20% more than what I've purchased it for from another country.
can u buy me a new phone for Christmas T^T
3:39 🤣🤣😂 took me awhile to get that joke
Design wise these Samsungs are looking a lot more like the iphones than previously
Samsung's copying iphone year by year
Video title: iPhone 15 vs Galaxy S23: Easy WIN!. Video ending: I can't really say for certain... Well played sir , well played

I got a s23 (used) almost new for 450€ this price with this specs and good hold on hand its a good deal i made
Love my iphone 15 apple 🍎 is the best. ANDROID is to gimmicky for me never been a fan
REMEMBER we don't call SAMSUNG android... we say Samsung
Although is runs on that os
Who cares?
@@Cristi3453 does it matter😂😂?
You all reviewers miss the point of people not buying android cz of the socail media optimisation, and u never include it in your reviews....in my opinion it's the most important part to discuss
This video is embarrassing because the iphone 15 destroys the s23…. Even when they use last years A16 chip.. its no competition
lol cute
Hey some one explain me , when side by side why does .y s23 display look shit, I mean the white colour in iPhone looks like proper white while s23 it looks dimmed. Did I made a mistake buying android
Its not white its cream colour dumbass
S23❤
S23 has horrible biometrics so despite the always on display and 120hz, I can't use it as my daily driver. Face unlock is terrible and doesn't work most of the time...that's the price you pay for the punch hole vs all the space Apple uses for FaceID. Under display fingerprint doesn't work well either...so many times I need to try my fingerprint multiple times. And it's even worse if you have a glass screen protector on. FaceID just works 100% of the time all the time. I really wish Samsung would put a fingerprint sensor on one of the side buttons. I really hope this gets better with the S24.
If you put on a screen protector you need to redo the finger print sensor to be recalibrated for the protected being added.
I've got a 3 months used S23 256gb with papers and everything at 400 euros and i coundn't be happier, a beast of a phone and the size is just perfect for everything including watching videos or movies
If you compare any Samsung phone with even the iPhone 5s, the winner will be the iPhone.
Iphone 15 or s24 ?
Which is better
you're fanboy apple ?
Guys, help me, I have an iPhone XR since 2020, and I’m thinking in get the iPhone 13 (yes 13, not 15. I live in Brazil lol, and things around here are expensive.) or the S23 (normal 256gb, not Plus or Ultra).
The thing I most care on my phone is the smoothness and the security, also the Updates apple provides. But the thing I really love is the FaceID, the fact that I don’t need to touch the screen of my cell phone to unlock is just awesome.
What you guys recommend based on your experiencies ?
I have both.. honestly its hard to decide but when it comes to camera the s23 wins..
I honestly don’t understand people who buy expensive phones and then put a case on it coz they don’t want to break it, this companies should improve durability u can’t be buyin a phone puting screen proctector and some case making the phone bulkier and the screen low quality
Pointless u didn’t even use the phone I just buy it for no reason
