No offense but your video style is annoying. You probably have some good idea’s but you are too annoying to watch. I know you want to be entertaining but its a fail.
Then don’t watch.
Ricky: “What? I said with all due respect!” Dennit: “Just because you say that doesn't mean you get to say whatever you want to say to me!”
How many RUclips videos have you made?!
@@3x3CustomTamar I watch because you're clever and entertaining and pretty.🙃
I loved all your gift ideas and this video. I,d love to see more videos just like this
OMG THANK YOU FOR LOWERING THE VOLUME WHEN YOUR MACHINES ARE RUNNING! very thoughtful
Glad you appreciate it!
Yes, thank you so much for this.
@@3x3CustomTamar
I get up really early and I watch your videos, and similar videos, while everyone is sleeping and I'm making my breakfast. I really appreciate this as well.
Tamar's scrap pieces shelf: Hundreds of clean cuts of 15 different beautiful kind of wood
My scrap pieces shelf: Broken pieces of pine and a tiny piece of oak
Merry Christmas kids ! I hope you like pine :)
LOL - yes my own pitiful collection of pine is probably not going to impress as gifts :-) Thank you for making me smile!
Same here. Scraps of MDF and pine, maybe some small pieces of red oak mixed in between;-)
Ha. Yeah.... I know not everyone has scrap canary wood lying around. 😂
I have scrap plywood..
@@tianwang1630 ruclips.net/video/oNk1vvflLdE/видео.html
Here's a video on some beautiful, though admittedly tedious, things you can do with plywood
i feel like im being a hoarder saving wood scraps, then i saw your scrap pile and i feel a lot better about myself now.
Hahahaha! Yeah. I have a problem 😂
I just cannot throw things away
I have a shed like 200 feet from the garage, I'm thinking I need to make a box to put my scraps out there.
@@SeanBlader I have been considering putting a shed up just so I would be able to see the floor of my shop again. But in the back of my mind I hear "not a good idea, woodn't stop the problem". But NOW I'm learning through all of these comments it's not a hoarding issue it's a wood worker's tradition. Somewhere a tree gave it's life and we honor that sacrifice by not letting any of it be waisted!
OooRah
You aren't alone. My wife wants to scream every time she comes out to my shop. I hate throwing things away that I think may be useful one day.. now I have ideas 😁
First time viewer. You are NOT annoying. Those trivets are really beautiful.
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it! ☺️
I was just telling my wife and two adult kids about how much I like and respect you. Your vision, creativity, and skills are incredible.
Your video style is not annoying. You have some great ideas that are fun to watch. I know you want to be entertaining and you absolutely are
Thanks so much! I appreciate that!
i thought that about your mom
Next you'll need to add a cheese stop block for repeated thickness cheese cuts
And a miter gauge! 😂
@@3x3CustomTamar A functioning cheese miter slicer would be the perfect nerdy gift for woodworker friends
I thought exactly the same when watching the video 😂
I was going to say add some 2mm t-track to keep the notch sanitary, regular t-track for hold downs, maybe some Shaper tape to make sure everything is oriented precisely 🤣
And crumb/dust collection.
I love your videos! You are so incredibly talented! I’ve been trying to get my daughter interested in woodworking (she’s helped me with small projects in the past) but she’s very intimidated by the power saws. We watch your videos together and I hope it helps her see that she can do it.
That’s so awesome to hear. That’s the reason I make these videos 💪💪
Made about 30 of the cheese slicers.
Used them as gifts.
Everyone loved the design
Thanks for the idea
Awesome!
You know what's crazy? I paused the video halfway through to comment how I feel like you shot this video differently and how I think it's a very creative and unique approach. I am really enjoying it. And then I see the comment you pinned of some goon trashing your style. Keep up the great videos. I learn a ton from how you explain things and really appreciate how much effort it takes to shoot and edit your videos. Thank you for creating your content. Also, I REALLY appreciate how you explain ways to complete these builds if we have limited tools. That really goes a long way. Thank you
Well, thanks for taking the time to write out such a thoughtful positive comment. It is a TON of work to put these videos together. I do it all in my own with zero help (other then my 8 year old daughter), so it’s really helpful to hear feedback like this so I can keep going on.
You can use the bagel stand to solve the Towers of Hanoi puzzle.
Bagels of Hanoi
Assuming you find a stack of graduated size bagels :)
Ok your small details in videos are always great. That half second interruption of "oh I didn't need to glue this... (wipe wipe wipe)" is so relatable lol, and you def could've cut that out
Awesome projects! I'm definitely gonna stock up on chevron scraps, seems like those would be great for these kinds of scrap projects!
Glad you appreciate that stuff!
Agree, raise the bar like your ideas and attention to expression ! Just Subscribed here !
I love that you made the donut/bagel holder so it can break down. And the magnets 🧲 make it even better!
Glad you like it! Yeah! When I was finding the wood to make it, I was like wait a second.... I don’t have room for this thing.... ha!
I agree! I was originally like "meh, dowels in a block of wood..." and then they came apart, stored in the base, AND had magnets! Mind blown!
@@beardjuice9959 haha glad you liked it! I was pretty excited when I thought of it 😂
Damn, that box design is amazing. It's crazy to see something so clean looking. Will definitely try that.
Glad you like it! Thanks!
Although it looks the simplest of the projects, the bagel holder was really cool! Love the magnets - genius
Thanks so much! Love that one too! Ha
I love this video, the bagel holder is inspired. So many people ( myself included ) would have just glued the dowels in place and ended up with something that looks great, but is a pain to store, the removable / storable dowels are a fantastic design feature, and I am not surprised that you wanted to keep that one for you! I think I am going to make one at the weekend, even though we never buy bagels.....
Keep up the good work!
What size core box bit did you use?
What do you do with all your cream cheese, if you don't buy bagels? :)
I looked around my shop and discovered dozens of trivets just waiting to be made! Christmas done!
Hahaha awesome!!!
Tremendous tradesman like Treble trivets? No trouble! ..lol... :)
I actually stoped the video to sort the scraps to make some trivets 😄
You are an inspiration as usual. I can't wait to get the space to do some wood working again!
Hopefully that’s soon! ☺️
I used to make a lot of bandsaw boxes when I was in high school wood shop (1979) Great gifts as well
Oh for sure!
For videos are fantastic! It shows your love of wood working!
That Chevron pattern from scraps is so pretty. Oh man I am so glad I found your channel!!!
Thanks!!
Beautiful work, Tamar! Really nice projects! 😃
I specially liked the cheese cutter! I just don't know if they ship it to Brazil... And the shipping from the US tends to be really expensive. 😬
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Oh man... maybe they have something similar
Thank you for this video! I've been struggling to think of gift ideas and this is so timely. Oh and btw, your style of presentation is great ;-)
Glad you found it useful!
You are the best role model for your boys. I've learnt loads just from watching, many thanks.
I have a daughter too 😉
Oops, didn't know, but ditto! Only saw the lads on the guitar build.
Not cutting all the way through the box is an excellent tip! Thank you!
Glad you like it!
I’m thinking of making a jewellery box as a gift and I liked the scrap box style very much.
Not only it’s a nice look but also a way to minimize waste 👍🏼
Yup! I love making use of those small pieces to make stuff!
LOVE the Magnet tip that you used for the bagel holder. Thanks so much for this awesome video!
So glad you liked it! It was fun to figure out
Tamar, Every time I see one of your videos I am blown away at your intelligence and ingenuity. Besides your demeanor being so carefree and light. I really enjoy all your videos and how you overcome problems. You don't make it seem like everything you do is perfect the first time. When I started watching youtube woodworking videos, not many excellent woodworkers show their warts, their mistakes. It's refreshing to see I am not the only one who gets turned around sometimes and has a senior moment! haha. Anyway, thanks for imparting your knowledge on us and you deserve all the benefits that come from your talent.
Awesome to hear! We all make mistakes, it’s how we deal with them!
I watch all of your videos and this one might just be the most inspirational. I just got about 1000 pounds of hardwood cutoffs from a defunct cabinet shop, for free!!!. I was looking for ideas for what to do with all of this wood. this WAS PERFECT. Thanks!! Christmas, birthdays, weddings all DONE. Thanks.
Awesome! Have fun making stuff!!!
I just started woodworking and subscribed to you because you are fun to watch. I learn just as much when you do something wrong, as when you do them right. I like your style and the out-takes are great. Much appreciated!
So awesome to hear! Thanks!
Well, I don’t find your videos annoying, but I can understand viewers with ‘Fith’ made find it so. Keep up the great work! 😉👴🏻🇦🇺
wow, her scrap wood is my treasure. I just have old 2x4's and some shims....
Haha!
It’s really sad to see that some people are unable to be nice. Loved the video. Thank you Tamar for sharing.
Thanks! Yeah. It’s more telling of their character than anything else
They complain about the videos but do not leave a link to their videos. Hmmmm, Trolls. Keep up the great work 3x3.
Great ideas, you’ve made the big times because the big boys think highly of you and your ideas. I always enjoy your videos. I’ve not built 25% of the things that have. You’ve come a long way and have made some beautiful pieces.
So glad you like it! Thanks! ☺️
Just wanted to drop back in and say A big THANK YOU for the trivet project idea. Before your video, I hadn't heard of "trivet" and now I'm creating all sorts of versions. I've made so many now for family and friends - as well as for my home. Love your channel and appreciate your work so much.
So awesome to hear! Thanks!
I’m impressed with your project choices which I think together made for not only a GR8 array of gifts or keepers. Certainly not at all the same old choices on so many other “suggested simple projects” videos. And as a side note, I happen to thoroughly enjoy your personal and production style on this video. I think I understand what’s going on with someone who had voiced the opposite reaction. I think you probably know as well. Keep making!
Ha! Thanks so much! Glad you like the projects and the videos!
Not cutting the lid of the box all the way is a bloody genius idea, definitely going to do that next time.
Thanks!
Awesome
Some of the demonstrated ideas bring back memories from middle school "shop". But those we had to do by hand, so they were never that much to look at. These machined items are just beautiful. I miss my workshop.
Love the spice rack
Gasp, I'm a year late to this video! Just ran into my woodshop to make that awesome round-over'd trivet. Awesome project ideas :)
Awesome!
All those are really good ideas, thank you for sharing!!! Love the bloopers, I have to turn off my garage fridge to run my table-saw!!
Thanks! Ha! Do what you gotta do!
this video is gold. Very few 'specialty' tools or techniques, and using things we all have laying around: scrap. great job.
Glad you liked it! Thanks!
Tamar really pinned the guy so everybody could see how he got destroyed... that's the real deal well done Tamar
Haha! I just think this whole troll phenomenon is crazy and he needed to be put in his place 😂. He made that comment literally 4 minutes after I posted it. So he said that without even watching the whole video.
@@3x3CustomTamar you know we like your videos👍 one guy won't change anything
Great ideas that can be done with many types and sizes of wood. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for the idea! My son has cut fingers a couple times cutting cheese. Ordered the kit for him as a birthday present, and built it together. Even imitated your chevron pattern, turned out great!
Awesome!!!
"It really does not need to be perfect at all"
My OCD: why are you attacking me!!!!
Hahah!
"If you are anything like me..." Yes, it is all too beautiful to put in the trash. I make jewelry boxes to use my scraps but I see some new projects in my future now, thanks for sharing.
Haha yup! I can’t get rid of anything. It’s all a potential project!
I love your work and attitude toward your projects!! And your beautiful 😻
Thanks so much!
Fun, fun, fun. Thank you for sharing. you are an inspiration.
So glad you liked it!
Congratulations on your Woodcraft Magazine article. I'm new to 3-string guitars and found you here. I'm a truck driver, and RUclips is usually playing in the background
Awesome to hear! Thanks!
congratulations videos like this motivate me to do projects like this I don't have all those tools but someday
Your info is what I have been looking for! I am new to woodworking and I know I can learn the terms you are using. With Christmas money I bought a 12" double compound miter saw. My next purchase I hope to be a table saw. So glad I found you.
Joy. Pgh, PA
You are the Router Queen!! Fun video!
This is excellent. Thank you
In my book, it ain't scrap if I am not willing to burn or toss it, it is just unprocessed smaller lumber. Really nice pieces, and so much nicer than just plain wood!
Yeah I feel the same way....
Love the funky pieces!
Very good ideas, and all of them very do-able by the average woodworker. Video quality is really flawless. Nice work.
So glad you liked them! Thanks!
Beautiful arts!👏👏👏
Hello, you are the most amazing woman out of all the carpentry channels I follow here, you are so talented and you make everything so easy and everything that comes out of your hands is so beautiful that I am amazed every time, congrats, if only I were close for you I would pay a lot of money to learn from you, I wish you all the best and good health! 🙏
Bravo!!!
Nice and simple ideas!!!
Greetings from Chile!!!
Glad you like them!
Awesome video!!! So many great ideas, especially for a beginning woodworker like myself.
So glad you liked it!
Thank you for all the great ideas 🌸🌺🌸
Glad you like them!
I love your scrappy attitude! Can’t wait to see what you dovetail into next.
Hah thanks!
I always look forward to your videos.
Awesome to hear!
Thank you for the great ideas. I've made and sold several of the cheese slices. If you put a small block against the back of your crosscut sled you can cut your slicer groove so its deeper on the side where the loop meets the frame. Then you wouldn't need to cut away a spot for it. Awesome video!!
Great tip!
You are unbelievably good
☺️☺️
Thanks so much for the great ideas and for showing ways to adapt them to the tools and materials on hand.
Glad you liked it!
I love your enthusiasm and clear explanations! Great ideas and demos! New sub! Thanks!
Awesome to hear!
That pattern on the cheese slicer looks awesome for a serving board!
Thanks! I was quite pleased with how that turned out as well ha
Morning Coffee with Tamar :) What a great little video! Your timing is scary!......I was cleaning the shop last night...thinking about just burning a bunch of scrap....I guess there'll be presents under the tree after all...hahaha...
Thanks so much-I watch one of your videos with my morning coffee almost every day: you help bring a positive creative light into my day!
Wow. That’s so awesome to hear! Have fun making scrap projects!
Loved the Test Tube spice rack! So simple!
Yeah! So fun
Strangely enough, I was thinking how difficult it is to make a watchable video. You do a very good job. Instructive and enjoyable to watch. In my opinion you don't need to change anything.
Glad to hear! Thanks!
Beautiful done my friend
Thanks so much!
I like the outtakes!
Ha. Thanks!
Very creative, and also nice that you make it all from scrap wood. It has truly inspired me! I hope you will continue to make more of these nice videos. thank you!
Glad you liked it! Thanks!
I'm really enjoying these videos!!! Just a power recommendation...turn the tools off when resetting the breaker just in case you didn't. The outtakes at the end were adorable.
Thanks so much! Haha! Glad you liked it!
Great ideas and love the enthusiasm . These are good projects for all of us. Thanks for the video, keep them coming. Craig
Glad you like them. Thanks!
@@3x3CustomTamar just made your trim router jig concept as well, perfect lines every time.
@@cedaroakfarm8596 so awesome to hear!
”Nothing says ‘I love you’ like giving the gift of scrap” LOL! Love your work and humor. I have always found woodworking a nice means of pause/escape/meditation away from the girlfriend/family/job, but your husband is not likely to get that rest, but then he gains professional tips from you if woodworking is his passion also 😊 Keep up the great work! Love the cheese cutter! Outtakes are great :-) Holiday greetings to all!
Haha. He is very happy that I am the handy one in the house. 😂😂
Dont make us waiting long days to see your wonderful video
Haha it takes time to make stuff!
great video! You have an eye for detail and really produce some nice woodworking projects... and videos!
Thanks so much! Glad you like them!
Love your videos Tamar! Thank you.
Awesome to hear! Thanks!
Great projects, very nicely done.
Thanks so much!
Donut stand > bagel stand (not a big fan of eating bagels) - great idea to have the dowels storable in the base.
Very nice... love those little things... thank you❤️
Thanks so much! Glad you like them!
Hi Young lady!
Happy Thursday!
Always a pleasure to watch you. Your so enthusiastic, you make woodworking fun again. So let me get this straight, (pun intended) it's Okay to horde the scraps? And I don't need to feel guilty about them oozing out of every nook and cranny in my shop? Oh you have no idea how good you made me feel today.
Hahah yup! It’s totally ok by me!
What a wonderfully practical and useful presentation this is. Always a pleasure to watch and learn! Thanks for sharing!
