You always have great ideas. Personally, I have to start NOW in order to finish presents for Christmas 2025! But I appreciate the simplicity of your ideas and the thoroughness of your explanations. Thank you very much.
Haha maybe these are simple enough you could still get a few done before Christmas 2024 😅😉 I’m so glad you enjoyed these little projects and I hope they inspired you. Happy building!
Shara, I started out in woodworking building gifts for my four Sisters and my Parents so you're certainly ringing my bells as you show us things we can build for this Christmas. Seasons greetings to you and your hubby as well, much love to the critters, blessings be upon you. Thanks for Sharing! 🙃🙂
I’m sure they cherished every gift-that’s so thoughtful! I hope this video gave you a couple new gift ideas 😊 Bubs and Lou say hi! And we wish you and yours a very happy thanksgiving and Christmas as well. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Those are one of my favorites! I literally NEVER have picture frames on any of my shelves, but I actually kept one of these because I loved it so much 😆 so glad you liked them too!
Just wanted to thankyou for the Xmas tree art in frame idea. Grandson and I made it today , came out great , just a coat of varnish to go. Keep up the good work 👍
So glad you enjoyed them! I wanted to make these as quick and simple as possible this year because I know time is usually limited during the holidays 🎄
What wonderful ideas!!! I've never even thought of frames like that before, I'm literally mind blown right now. Also, that book stand seems like a perfect use of the scrap wood from the years projects. Thanks for an awesome episode!!
The frames are so easy they feel like cheating 🙈🤣 I’m so glad you enjoyed these projects. I always enjoy trying to come up with them each year. I hope you and yours have a great holiday season!
Really like the connect 4 game. I would personally have used maple and walnut dowel for the discs (mostly because I hate to paint too) Really good Ideas, all of them. David
I love your videos, they are always clear and concise. Great ideas for Christmas gifts, love anything handmade. I hope you and your family have wonderful holidays.
I’m so glad to hear you enjoy the videos! Thank you 💕 these were so much fun to share and I hope they gave you some ideas! Happy building and happy thanksgiving to you and yours!
I love those ideas, thank you for sharing. Happy holidays to you and yours. I am really looking forward to see what next year brings from your shop as you set the bar very high this year.
Hello Sara, Just want to say thank you for your videos, Love your work and I have learned so much from you. I am DIY creator in my country. Merry Christmas Sara.
Thanks for all the great gift ideas Shara!!! Looked like Bubby was seeking a lot of attention or just wanted to check out what you were doing. I love the picture of Lucy that you framed. I never realized what a beautiful dog she is because I usually just see her for a second in the background. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones!
I’m so glad you enjoyed the projects (and Bubby’s random appearances 😊). He’s always curious what I’m up to. I have that same photo of Lucy blown up big and framed above my desk in my living room 😆 she’s well loved around here, but she’s not a big fan of the camera haha. I hope you and yours have a very happy thanksgiving as well. 💕 thank you so much for watching and following along.
@WoodshopDiaries He gets his favorite treats. And valerian cushions, he goes completely crazy every time he gets a new one. 🥰 Yeah, Bobby will love it 😁
These are great projects Shara! They will make great Christmas presents! I like the Crescent snips that you used to cut the cork stopper. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas ‼️
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed them. Actually-the snips aren’t crescents (though I wish they were), but it’s a miter trim snipper (some off brand I got off Amazon that happens to be orange). It’s a pretty handy little tool for cutting small wood pieces and it happens to cut corks well too 😅 but the miter is off a degree or two-so I’m not sure if I can recommend them 🙈 Anyway, sorry for rambling! I hope you all have a happy thanksgiving and merry Christmas as well!
@ …. I bought a pair of Crescent miter snips this afternoon at Home Depot and I installed (5) pieces of PVC qtr round in just a few minutes with them! They worked great and cost about $22. Regardless of what brand yours actually are, I’m glad you used them and inspired me to buy a pair!
Hi. Some awsome Christmas gift ideas there. Love that connect game board 👌. They all look great. Very well made to 👍. Merry Christmas to you and your family 🌲🧑🎄☃️🎁❤️
Okay, so I said this on one of your IG posts, but I'll say it again: Doggone it, would you please stop making these crafty projects look so fun and functional! 😆 I'm not typically a builder of small things (another way to say that is that I'm not precise enough to make things look nice like these) but I'm going to have to tackle a couple of these because, doggone it, they look fun to build and they will make nice gifts! My favorites are the book holder and the picture frames, and may I just say that you, Danny, and Lu clean up nice in the photo! Also hi to the shop supervisor!
Haha that’s so funny because I love a little project vs a big one most of the time. Theyre just less overwhelming for my brain 🤣🙈 but they don’t do as well on RUclips, so I don’t usually post them here. I’m glad you enjoyed these…even if it was a bit “against your will” haha. I hope you and yours enjoy a very happy holiday season and I’ll be back soon with some bigger builds 😉 have a great weekend!
Cute builds Shara, for the organizer did you find the 1x2 to be sufficient? I was considering a 2x1 instead.. lol happy holidays to you and the family! Stay warm and safe
Hi. I’ve seen a couple of your videos and they are great. I’ve been attempting to learn woodwork for a couple years and am genuinely terrible! No further than I was on day one. Do you have any beginner series ?
Of course! I use my Cricut to cut vinyl stencils and stain/paint lettering on projects and it’s an easy way to customize. I demonstrate this a few different ways in past videos like the tic tac toe gift I made last year: ruclips.net/video/Q5ug_qyesn0/видео.htmlsi=l9H-BOQlTYT8L6ED This Christmas sled in my last video: ruclips.net/video/mdNwnh9Q5E8/видео.htmlsi=NcQm8nOLi-Z3XvVY And this game board coffee table here: ruclips.net/video/dgAmoKwSZqA/видео.htmlsi=xca4lX2Z5lUo2vW4
Made some of the picture frames today -- couldn't get the angled side to work, is there a trick I'm missing? The ones I did with flat sides all came out great. Thank you!
@@WoodshopDiaries Ok dumb question: the slot on the vertical piece is angled back just like the vertical piece itself is too, right? Might be I just didn't make my slot deep enough to let the plexiglass angle
@CoachCarl absolutely possible and if your blade is thinner than mine or your plexiglass is thicker, it could be that the slot isn’t wide enough to accommodate the pieces at a slight angle. You may need to make two passes for the slot
So glad i found your videos. I love making wood projects and recently ran out of ideas. Thankyou so much for the inspiration.
Love the game board, been thinking of what to make for my granddaughters. Excellent
I bet they would love a game you built for them! 💕

Bubs and Lou say hi! And we wish you and yours a very happy thanksgiving and Christmas as well. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Great ideas I can work with my grandkids, especially love the thinking outside the box picture frames. Those are so cool
I bet your grandkids would love making these with you! Enjoy your time together and merry Christmas!
I really like the picture frames. Sandwiching the pictures between the plexiglass is a great idea!! Happy Holidays.
Keep up the good work 👍
That's so awesome! I hope you both made some good memories and a project you both can treasure!
Hi from Spain. Your ideas are awesome!! ! I simply love them. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Happy holidays to you and your dear ones too Shara and thanks for this inspiring 2024. Please do more of that in 2025.
Much love from the Netherlands.
I so appreciate you following along this year. I hope next year is even more fun! Enjoy your weekend and happy building!
The clever solution worth the screw in the cork made me a subscriber. I love watching people solve problems. Thanks!
First time viewer and have subscribed! Lo all these projects! You are very talented!! Ty for sharing
Love the picture frame idea
Thank you! Theyre so simple it feels like cheating 🙈🤣
Really like the connect 4 game. I would personally have used maple and walnut dowel for the discs (mostly because I hate to paint too) Really good Ideas, all of them. David
Maple and walnut would have been awesome for the game pieces! If I could find dowels that species anywhere, I’d have loved to use that instead.
All of these are incredible although tedious the connect 4 is amazing !
The connect 4 is my favorite too! It was a bit tedious, but not too bad. I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much for following along and cheering me on this year! I hope whatever is in store for 2025 doesn’t disappoint 😅🙈 I need to get planning!

Nice job as always! I really like the tray.
Thanks so much for watching! I’m so glad you enjoyed the projects. Happy building!
Fabulous ideas for using up all those offcuts. I have a lot of offcuts 😂
Haha they pile up quick! 🙈🤣 maybe this can help you shrink your scrap pile a little. I appreciate you watching. Happy building!
Love these, especially that they're so simple to construct. Thank you!
Beautiful small works.
I have also already made an advent calendar for my cat 🐈
Oh what a fun project for your cat! Is each day a treat or a toy? I may have to steal that idea for my shop cat!
@WoodshopDiaries He gets his favorite treats.
And valerian cushions, he goes completely crazy every time he gets a new one. 🥰
Yeah, Bobby will love it 😁
Great video. The salt and pepper shakers are my favourite
So glad you enjoyed it! Those turned out so cute! I’m gifting them to my mom this year! 💕

Bonjour, c'est tres joli 👏👏
That Connect 4 looks fun to build. However, we already own two store-bought versions. 😂
Love these!
I need to make that tray for my husband!
happy xmas. and i wish your video have metric in the new year

I so remember the older commercials about connect 4, and I dig those picture frames.
สุดยอดครับ
I like these. A plain looking woman that hasn't resorted to showing her body off giving good advice. Well done you.
Your adjective choice may have been a bit more tactful, but yeah
Sad thing is with the price of wood the connect 4 would be cheaper just to buy
Not a wooden one.
