I used the thread in an extruded command to pierce other threaded holes and never had an issue, then suddenly on a complex part it failed to paint the threads on all the holes. I found this video switched some to threaded holes and it took. Lesson stay flexible, don't get confused with what works most of the time.

why does the tapered thread command in the hole feature not give the modelled option?

This is the normal fusion frustration i think!
You don't know whats wrong, and there is propably nothing wrong but still, you can't achieve what you want.

I did the same thing and it made the holes threaded at 1/2" -12 instead of 1/2"-13. Printed it and checked it with a thread gauge and it was 1/2 -12. Never heard of 1/2" - 12 before. I've been machining for over 50 years. I even checked remember settings. Something is not right with the thread modeling on occasion.

To clean up the interior, especially where the 3 threads interact in a complicated mess, would a nice sized spherical void make for a better looking print?

Lars, it seems that if I try to add the 2nd hole via the hold command it works. However, if I add the hole unthreaded then use the thread oommand it fails with an error. Perhaps, sequence is critical?

I'm having a major issue with creating threads all of a sudden. Well creating fasteners in general. As you know that many times it is necessary to adjust threads to allow for more of a gap between nut in bolt.
I have not created thread and objects in several upgrade time periods so apparently something has changed in fusion 360 or at least in my install. I am no longer able to select the faces of a thread to adjust using the extrude tool. I typically used to adjust by a very small negative value just to make the fit a little looser due to the plastic imperfections that exist in 3D printing.
I used to make threaded objects all the time and did not have to do any sort of adjusting at all they just always worked perfectly as long as I didn't have my settings screwed up in any way which is kind of hard to do there's only a couple different choices LOL
at any rate has anybody noticed this? I simply cannot make threads anymore and it's driving me crazy I require fasteners and I do not like making blind holes and using nuts and bolts! I would rather make the complete system myself

How to add threads to more than one hole at a time. Instead of a single hole

In the hole command there are an option to add multiple holes with threads

To elaborate on Lars' answer, in the Hole dialog, the first option "Placement" allows you to select a "At Point" or "From Sketch". If you select "From Sketch" (the second option - square with four holes in it), you can create multiple holes with the same properties at the same time (including threaded). Just make sure your sketch is visible and aligned with your body. If you normally sketch and extrude up, you may have to flip the direction of the hole, or if you're counterboring, you may have to project the sketch on to the top face.
